Moderno Churrascaria, Norwegian's Brazilian steakhouse, has moved from Deck 8 to Deck 13, offering ocean views. A flat fee provides access to all-you-can-eat meat (beef, pork, lamb, chicken, and fish) along with sides (rice, black beans, garlic mashed potatoes, fried plantains, and Brazilian cheese bread) and salad bar items. Desserts include papaya ice cream, coconut flan, and mango rice pudding. Reservations are highly recommended, and it's not the place for vegetarians. Moderno is open for dinner but also serves as a breakfast venue for suite passengers, offering items like pancakes and waffles, eggs Benedict, crab cakes Benedict, smoked salmon frittata, lobster and scallops in toasted brioche with a poached egg, omelets, and steak and eggs. The Tahitian vanilla challah French toast with berries and mascarpone is particularly outstanding.
Teppanyaki offers hibachi-style Asian food with meals starting with miso soup and seaweed salad, followed by a chef's entertaining cooking show. Entrees include chicken and noodles, veggies with noodles, shrimp, scallops and calamari. There is also filet mignon, veggies with tofu, or a combination, all served with garlic fried rice, teppanyaki vegetables, and two sauces: onion and creamy mustard. Desserts are green tea cake with cashew nut brittle or fresh exotic fruit sashimi. Reservations are essential due to limited seating.
Sushi Bar is located near Teppanyaki, Jasmine Garden, and Sake, offering individually priced rolls ranging from $5 to $7.50.
Le Bistro is Norwegian Jade's French cuisine restaurant, offering five courses with a la carte pricing. The venue has paintings adorning the walls and serves both modern classical and contemporary French fare. Appetizers include grilled asparagus with shiitake mushrooms, escargot, and steamed mussels. Soups and salads feature French onion, cream of mushroom soup, and salad with duck and walnuts. Main courses include shrimp and scallops, rib eye steak for two, grilled swordfish, and salmon. Also available are beef tenderloin, lamb, Burgundy chicken, and duck breast. Desserts include vanilla creme brulee, chocolate fondue, a cheese plate, and profiteroles. It is recommended to make reservations.
La Cucina is a restaurant that specializes in a la carte pasta, with gluten-free options available, and pizza. They also offer soup, salad, and appetizers like fried calamari, beef carpaccio, bruschetta, and caprese salad. For main dishes, you can enjoy grilled shrimp with Italian vegetables, chicken Parmesan, and pork scaloppini. Desserts include tiramisu, chocolate tarts, lemon curd ricotta cheesecake, and rhubarb panna cotta. The restaurant features an extensive wine collection displayed on a wall-sized wine rack. Reservations are recommended.
Cagney's is the ship's steakhouse, popular among meat-eaters. The a la carte menu includes starters, soups and salads, featured selections, seafood, and sides. Starters might include chicken drumsticks, wagyu beef sliders, lump crab salad, and shrimp cocktail. Soups and salads include baked potato or split pea soup, or a wedge salad. Mains feature smoked ribs, grilled bison steak, lamb chops, or beef (porterhouse, rib eye, filet mignon, New York strip). Seafood options include shrimp or sea bass. Sides include garlic mashed potatoes, onion rings, truffle fries with Parmesan cheese, mac 'n' cheese, or coleslaw.
