What makes this campaign unique is that it portrays the war from the German viewpoint, which is uncommon. It challenges the dehumanization of Germans, presenting them as individuals with families. It highlights the presence of good people who are often powerless and face moral dilemmas.
As the game progresses, it increasingly portrays the grim realities of war from the German viewpoint: exhausted and deserting soldiers, starving civilians, grieving individuals mourning their loved ones, cities reduced to ashes, soldiers rationalizing the deaths of their fellow comrades, and the list goes on.
The below quote can be better explained by one of the scenes from the movie "All Quite on The Western Front (1979)" When a batch of new underaged soldiers come to an experienced German soldier, he looks at them and says, "If the war doesn't end soon, they'll start sending toddlers"

It’s a shame that both battlefield 5(except for Peter Müllers story) and call of duty vanguard couldn’t capture the dark feeling of war, and now WW2 games are now extinct.

Yeap bud, I think many Battlefield devs just put one campaign that shows dark side of war (and is always special) but then for the rest of campaign they just go typical. in BF1 its the first intro campaign. In BFV its the Last Tiger Campaign.

Last time COD did something good and showed history and dark side of war was in COD WaW, Vanguard looks like a meme in front of old CODs sets in WW2.

Just to let you know that city was a city in France. And I heard a theory that the Tanker you play as in Battlefield 3 is Müllers grandson or so.

I just did some research it was in the Rhein Ruhr region so it’s not Berlin but in Germany so let’s just say we both were wrong. 😅

but after checking analytics and audience responses you can check my channel, I no longer do commentary, my commentary did help me blow some of my videos in past (825K views, 170K views on another video) but they are not working anymore, so had to stick with gameplay only for now.
