Great job, quality video, well presneted. Also glad that an architect is taking the time to research and talk about what I like to call "virtual architecture" or "digital architecture". You should be careful in the definition and use of the word "metaverse" though. What you're describe are some of the virtual worlds out there using the block chain in various capacity with various success rate. I believe the Immersive Web (WebXR) has far more potential to become a potential "Metaverse" for instance. Keep in mind that the prefix meta comes from the Greek and means "beyond" also meaning "alteration" when associated with another word. So let's keep an open mind on what's possible when building online spatial and immersive experiences.

I would highly recommend learning algorithm-driven softwares (or plug-in) like grasshopper and also learning a semi-complex 3D software such as rhino. When you learn a software like rhino, you understanding of 3D geometry and polygons etc will be influenced and you can take that knowledge to apply to other 3D softwares if necessary.

I'm trying to encourage myslef to learn all of these techniques in our 3d field but I lose hope because of AI. I can imagine that after couple of years from now all of these features will be only by pressing a one button. 3d Art was my second career shifting and now I have to shift for the third time. Not lucky at all
AI will most likely get a big role eventually in metaverse design, we’re already seeing a lot of softwares automating more and more of the design process

How are there any rules when it comes to architecture in the Metaverse when every things is virtual and imaginary and fake? There cant be any laws of physics in a virtual world. Can there?
Hi Joshua. Perhaps when we talk about "rules" in metaverse, we don't necessarily mean building codes. As you put it, there are no physical boundaries that needs to be dealt with. However, each metaverse has their own "Virtual" rules which mostly is applicable to technical limitations such as the size of the rendered building (in terms of megabytes) or things to do with the software that designers are allowed to use to design a building in that particular metaverse.
I no longer like this setup. We do work-from-home/work remotely because we like the individualist lifestyle. We can work remote successfully by simple interactions thru messages. This is like entertaining collectivists in remote work setups. What if it's my sleeping hours and the majority wants to meet at metaverse? They should just return to traditional offices to work collectively.
