Her new friend was apparently extremely open about sex and such, which is obviously inappropriate for a show like iCarly, even if it is supposed to be years later. Don't know how Schneiderish it was when it came to inappropriate things, but I wouldn't doubt it was right up his alley.

Ikr it's sad, because Nickelodeon also had amazing shows like CatDog, Harvey Beaks, and early SpongeBob episodes. They owe us the biggest apology of all, we don't want an apology form Dirty Dan, we need Nickelodeon to take action because they still continue to make live action shows involving children, today!
Dan Schneider dropping the n word is somehow the part that sent me because at this point it seems like he got away with everything under the sun. I mean everyone hates him now and he’s not a big shot writer anymore, but the man is walking free and Nick cut him something like 7 mil just to leave.

People have known about this for years now. There's plenty of RU-vid videos documenting the accusations and abuse that are years old now. The most disturbing video I've seen is when Dan Schneider was alone in a Jacuzzi with Amanda Bynes. Absolutely no reasoning for that can ever make it okay Edit: and people that auditioned to be extras have been coming out with their own stories for years. Jeannette McCurdy wrote about some of the abuse in her recent book. Pretty sure at some point she has said that while filming iCarly, she had an eating disorder. And the producers purposely made her "Sam" character binge eat food because of her eating disorder. Doing multiple takes, multiple scenes a day eating food non-stop is literally the worst thing you could do to someone dealing with that
