In fact, they signed up for a war that was spurred on by LBJ, who's wife had major holdings in the MIC and profited a lot off of the weapons contracts.

@@dbboss8455well… you earned money and paid taxes on the money you earned. Then used that money to purchase a car which then you paid a large chunk of tax for. Then to even drive your car the government mandates you have insurance (another tax) and makes you purchase new license plates and register the car every year for a residual tax, then also have the gall to not remove tolls from toll roads. Oh and then require things like emissions and force you to repair old cars with expensive cats otherwise you aren’t allowed to register your car anymore? What a joke.
@@dbboss8455i think most our roads were made in the 60-80s why do we need to keep paying car tax when most the roads have been built already. shouldn't we pay alot less. its not like we made a new long distance freeway or anything lately.

The only unrealistic part about this whole scene was Americans actually coming together. The American people are so busy hating each other that they don’t have the time to truly understand how they’ve been divided and conquered.

Imagine buying a used car, paying taxes on it, selling it and being expected to pay taxes on that money, new owner goes and pays taxes on the car, you buy it back a few years later and pay taxes on it again the previous owner is expected to pay taxes on that money earned too. A thousand dollar car the state values at 5500.
Imagine selling anything privately and having the government come in and take taxes as if they were part of it. This is already becoming a thing. Soon, you will have to pay ridiculous taxes for selling your used car on FB marketplace or selling furniture at a garage sale...
@@bigbang5831 It seems Americans are increasingly becoming fed up with their goverment, but more fundamentally than usual. It's like Vietnam, but the younger demographics come from the very places and people the US destroyed one way or another. When it's like that, you can only ignore how the US is still the same as it was when it destroyed the lives of your places of origin for so long. Eventually you realize you were always part of an evil nation. It's like the Soviets or Germans of the past. The US proved no different.

If they weren’t, they’d likely stop fighting each other and start questioning and rebelling against the system that caused majority of the conflict to begin with.
I look at it like this. Liberals love government but hate the enforcers while conservatives love the enforcers but hate the government. The conundrum is we will never see eye to eye with Americans that believe in different politics.

Half of us aren't even scared, we just don't know how we'd start fixing anything / "fighting back". Part of that is probably thanks to currently fighting each other all the time instead though.
I think it’s a combination of that and the fact that we aren’t on equal footing anymore like we once were in the 1700s. I’m afraid to describe it in more detail cause RU-vid would probably take it as an act of treason or some bs. But basically…if our only option left is to “vote” then yeah…we’re screwed even if we all came together and got past our differences. Big Brother holds all the cards now and doesn’t probably even care that everyone is starting to wake up and become aware of everything they’re doing to this country and to divide us.

For an entire century in the U.S. the Americans fought against a 1 percent tax on foreign goods, not concerning their income from labor which should remain apart from government intrigue and involvement.
@@MysteriousFuturesomebody who buys something you make or a service you provide is paying taxes on that sale, then the company you work for is paying taxes on their revenue, then you're getting taxed with the money they earned off your labor, then you spend that money somewhere and are taxed on it, and now the circle begins again. It's a never ending system. It's designed that way.
Wage theft is more of a problem than taxes. Hell the only problem with our taxes currently is it's going to the police,the Pentagon pretty much anything that won't help us. Our taxes should be used for public education and fixing our roads and infrastructure.
