Cat, I'm a Christian for 32 years. I read my Bible front to back three times in all those years. After watching your first Bible garden video about 3 years ago, I began mine. My love for the Word grew more and more. My love for Jesus grew more and more. Now I have 18 Bibles. I've read the Word front ot back 6 times in 3 years. My passion still grows. You started it, Cat. Because of your love and passion for God's Word, you helped me bloom. You are doing God's work, my sister. Keep it up!

I study my Bibles in a completely "opposite" way as I don't write, highlight or stick anything to my Bible. This apply to all of my Bibles. The one I bring to worship services up to the massive study Bibles that I only use in my personal study at home. And just like you, other Christians would ask me question as to why I don't do it. Specially highlighters. I just say I prefer it to be "clean and neat". So yeah, even if you have a "plain" Bible like me or you have a Bible like Cat's, with decorations and colors, people are gonna ask and assume things. Doesn't matter what you do. But my notes/notebook, where I write my personal Bible study, is full of erasures and sticky tags and it looks chaotic but I'm learning, I'm growing and I'm knowing God more every time I open my Bible and my notebook. I completely respect and understand your Bible garden concept Cat. If it is what helps you grow with God's Word, then go for it.
Amen sister you keep doing you thats all that matter. Is that your actively engaging in God's Holy Word. And your Bible not just sitting on the table waiting for Sunday morning.
Folks criticize the youngsters who have a tablet, or app with the Bible too. Why would you find ANY negativity in someone hearing God's word? I say whatever gets the Word off the page and into your heart is a success.
I just watched both part 1 and part 2 and it's wonderful. Cat, those nay sayers are wrong you are studying your Bible the right way, because it's the way God has led you to do it. When they try to discourage you they are telling God He is wrong. Your Bible gardens are beautiful, not because of the pretty pictures they are but for what they represent; your spiritual walk with God. I know you and I know your heart for the Lord. Keep on doing what you are doing, God is in control and He loves you. As do I.

Because of your videos I bought my first Inspire bible and I started my garden. I look forward to spending time in the Word now. Then I did a Life in the Spirit Seminar utilizing the Ascension bible plan. I am telling you guys I am being transformed and in love with the Lord more than ever before.

It’s true when you are doing something good the devil comes against you. I learned that when I worked in a factory and I would collect for Childrens Cancer and I always dealt with negative people. Cat keep on doing your thing, your Bible gardens are beautiful
You are such an encourager. You Bibles are beautiful and inspire me in my walk. This world has become so hateful and judgemental. It's a pity they have to be so down on themselves. It's interesting that you mention men that journal. My SO uses his Bibles as daily journals. He has phone numbers, addresses and maybe special notes about a person he meets. Whenever he does a public devo, he will keep his notes in as a tip-in. He also highlights and underlines passages like many people do. Ty for all you do.

That's exactly what I've been doing for years turning the other cheek. I just delete & block them from my channel. But not today. It's not wrong to be upset and tell them enough is enough. It's not ungodly to be angry either... it's important to still remain godly even though your angry. Don't forget even Jesus Christ Himself got angry. So angry He was actually throwing tables across the room.

This is so very sad. You basically described the essence of bible study. I am reminded of the conflict between peter & the early church as they had the great circumcision debate. Just as children, boys/girls learn differently, The Holy Spirit leads us to interact with HIM differently. The most important part, as you have stated is, to get into The WORD. Maybe the Lord will say it's time just like this video. I've been dealing with trolls for 3years now. And than just like yesterday was that day. I love your Bible Gardening. I find that I learn more when I write in my Bible. I write in most of my books that I own. If they would have let me write in my books in school I would have been unstoppable!
II love that you love, read and cherish your Bible and express who God made you to be in your Bible. I think it’s really beautiful! The main thing is that you are reading the Word and growing in your faith. God must take delight in the fact that love his Word.

as a newbie to bible journaling, i find it the most fun when i get revelation, or understanding from something or i feel the Holy Spirit speaking to me from a verse, THEN i can highlight it and decorate that verse anyway i want. it makes the interaction of the Word so much more fun

I started Bible Journaling…. but I don’t have a Bible Garden. I have been interested in starting one. I like your point! We must LIVE BY THE BIBLE….. USE IT!!!! Btw …. New to the channel here. In an actual garden, think about it you go out and planting the seeds and it looks dull and boring. You work and work and soon it grows and blooms and in time gets full and beautiful. The same way with us doing the Bible garden it never stops growing and never should we. I love ❤️ this idea. Something in the Bible God was trying to show me . I caught on and shouted of course I had to add a sticker lol. That’s how it goes with me

Ignore them. They’re not worth your time. I go to thrift stores and buy (rescue) Bibles. I use those for my Bible gardens; otherwise, they would go to a landfill. Which is better for growing my Faith & which is best for preserving the Bible? Rock on Cat!! Delete & Block.
Oh Cat, I am so sorry people are being so hateful. You have always pressed it upon our hearts to read our Bibles. I highlight and write in my Bibles. Right now I don't have time to create a Bible garden. My husband has Stage 4 Metastatic Small Cell Lung Cancer, and he is full time care. I myself am disabled and have no help with his cares except for help with appointments. One day I hope to get to start a Bible Garden, but for now I am content with just reading, highlighting and making notes in my Bible. Love you to pieces Sis.♥️♥️♥️
That's what's important sis. You'll still growing a Bible Garden just like my Crossway Bible you can't see the flowers themselves. But...but each verse you read and pondered on God will water it and over time your flowers/garden will Bl🌺🌺m & Gr🍃w. That's the part I believe many people are missing when they see a Bible fully blown up with all the pretties. The pretties are just something beautiful & specia to look at it help encourage us to continue to come back to the Bible Garden to trim and pull out the weeds from our lives as we learn more about Jesus Christ and His purpose for us.
