I just don't understand why christians would attack other christians for doing something so artful that allows them to spend so much time in the word! Cat, you inspired me so much, I bought the she reads truth bible and the ESV interleave leather journaling bible, and I am currently reading through the bible cover to cover for the first time and I am using the interleave bible to take all of my notes during the process. I am hoping in a few years when I finish I'll have a very chunky bible with notes on every single page I can use to guide me in life and pass down to my kids eventually. ❤️ Thank you for doing what you do.
That's exactly why I hold on mine. All of these Bibles are going to well used & loved Bibles to be pass down to all of my Family members when I'm gone. (because I one 3 kids) and I'm not done working in Bibles yet 😂🤣

@@catwoods5499 Time for a trip to dollar tree for some starter stickers. I may not have as big of a Bible garden or as much as you, but I'm going to try adding some things. I also have seen others who put stickie notes with commentary rather then doing the gutters and around the edges. I can see how adding words and stickers can make your mind retain scripture. Maybe I'll start with a mini that won't matter so much if I "mess it up." I really do hate messing things up.
Call me strange but even though I will never have a Bible garden I truly enjoy the way so many express their own personal growth through Bible gardens. It is fantastic! 🌺
You go girl do you,all day long. People wish they could do what you do. I love reading the word of God. I recently started writing in my bible because I have my fathers bible that he literally died with. I love seeing and reading his thoughts. I think my children will love my bibles too when I join My father !!!!!

Sister Cat, I could sit for hours & watch you go thru your Bibles. It is amazing the creativity God has given you to create your Bible Gardens & how you mark others differently. I am going to purchase the Rainbow Bible but I'm already putting in the color code for discipleship, God speaking, prayers, words that speak to my heart, etc. in my NKJV my sister gave me. I have decorated it some & when I open it, it makes me feel joyful knowing I will be reading God's Word. We have 2 vehicles. I keep a small size NIV Bible in the car my husband drives mostly. In the car I drive if I go anywhere, which is seldom due to my physical health, I have a small, black, KJV Bible that is decorated. On the front are red bead hearts. This Bible is precious to me for a reason I don't know. I just feel protected & know if I'm out & someone questions me, I have my Bible easy to get to. I have read my little precious one & have marked scriptures in it. It is with me wherever I go. God is with me. I am so proud you haven't let anyone stop you from blooming in your Bibles. They are as unique as you are & are stunning how you've made them grow with you. They're all different, but each one looks like it's supposed to be that way. Nothing is taken away from God's Word in any of them. And I'm with you on the religion thing. Someone asks me that, I give the same answer as you. I am a Christian. Religion sometimes causes trouble. We are all God's children & accepted by Him in His Way. I, for one, thank God He brought me to you. He knew I needed help & a little push to know how to make reading my Bible something I wanted to do, not feeling I had to. I used to go to church when I was younger but became disillusioned about so many things & questions never got answered. But I have found I can read my Bible with better understanding now more than ever. Even though my eyesight ain't what it used to be, at 62 I find myself getting caught up in reading my Bible & will sometimes end up reading more than the 10 chapters I intend to read each night. And it makes me feel so good in my heart! So, I once again need to thank you & thank God for you, for giving you the precious gift you have & have shared with us. I have grown to love you in my heart as if you are my sister, which you are... my Sister in Christ! I may never get to see you face to face here, but once we're in that glorious place of God we'll know each other! Keep on working for the Kingdom, helping us grow 💐with you! Look, if someone does not want to art-i-f'y their Bible, that is just fine. But for those do, this is a wonderful enhancement to time in the Word. I really enjoy Cat's work & channel. Can you IMAGINE how improved our world would be if many many people were carrying their Bibles around?
I know right!? I'm really trying to encourage people for years now. I will continue to push it too. That would be amazing to walk through a store or sidewalk and see your fellow brothers and sisters with Bibles in their hands. Wow one day I know it will happen. We all just have to be stand up without fear or doubt. It all starts here with us.
I have just started Bible journaling and I could watch your bible gardens ALL DAY!!! LOVE!! In the past week I have secured a number of journaling bibles and dug out a mini bible from my bookshelves and I am ready to get my own gardens going!
I'm with you, I probably love the minis most. It's the one I bring with me. I use tip-ins for notes, and use colored pencils and clear stickers on the pages. I have a Bible for personal prayers and another for personal study. Tfs

I love writing in my Bible and being creative. I never felt convicted for being creative in my Bible. It also helps me grow. Love your bibles. God bless you sister
God opened me up lead me be creative journaling in non journaling bible...those nay sayers are religious leaders spirit....amen....be yourself be happy in your relationship with God....I got thrive devotional bible I fell in love with it and inspire bible what sparked my love for our heavenly father....told my husband showed him he encouragement to me in my creativity.....and you encouraged me get my desk started...I did garden theme western theme and thank you....

I was one of those people that was scared to mark anything in my bible. I finally got the courage to do it and I’m like the lady you mentioned. I finally did it and I haven’t stopped. It feels so good to express myself in my own bible. It’s only been maybe a few months, maybe in January that I started this year. I’d love to have a bible collection. I’m praying to Our Father for that and also prayed to him to send me a bible study partner and turned out to be my daughter, which I am excited about :)!!!
All totally amazing I love mostly the inspire bibles and have a few but but I have other but want some mini so I can take out in my bag with me I just love what you do with journaling and would love to get new ideas on how to make more of my pages pretty xx
You may use whatever I do in my Bibles. I share for them for inspiration. Trust me I fully understand how important that is. I have a playlist pinned here in the comments of all the Bibles here.
Cat, you know that you are showing this to help other's. God bless you. We found that when you high light , write and draw. Stamping add stickers etc. It's like wow! You see how you grow in the word the bible make it your own.. God Almighty is wonderful and he surely approves its just you and prayer time oh my gosh how we have grown closer and not ashamed of it. As always been not allowed just use the bible on Sunday and leave it on the shelf till next time. Now , our churches we each go to says it's ok to explore and learn use it as a tool! So very nice now!! Lol more are bringing journal ones to church!!!

But still, they are all beautiful and unique - no two alike! :-) I love your explaination of how you let your bible start your public witness for you. I got to thinking that I never see anyone carrying a bible anymore, except at church. Most everyone, including myself, have bibles on their phones. LOVED the travel log explaination too!! I loved that! I also loved that you have the arrows to mark a scripture you want to come back to, that way you don't interrupt the flow of your reading. I am constantly interrupting my reading by going down rabbit holes. And it looks like your video stopped a little short maybe. But it was ALL good. Thank you for doing this video! My very first bible garden isn't beautiful..its not nowhere near blown up like yours cat...but I digress...its MY bible garden and I'm proud of it...and I never said I was done either😁

What were the medium size bibles you showed? Your first garden one and that pretty one your sis got you. It’s a nice size and a margin. And it’s a tall rectangle.
Ohhhh is the Schuyler PSQ or the Cambridge Cameo or Caxton which is on my wishlist the Caxton is. I'm not a fan of the single Column but after this ESV Schuyler Treveris it's amazing I really enjoyable. I also love NKJV Thomas Nelson Single Column in the Premier Collection. Chucky Monkey for sure
I'm just curious, if you are marking verses so you can find it later, do you ever have difficulty finding the tab/sticker that you are looking for when you have soooooo many tabs and markers and ribbons, etc.? I think they look awesome! I'm just curious if besides being a beautiful journal journey of your Bible walk, if you can actually find a thing later when you look for it?

Hahah ohhhh yes yes. Here's the crash course.... ready.... you have nooooo life really all and any down time is given to God's Word. I don't watch TV so that right there will free up a lot of time. I will only watch TV when my husband pickes us out something to watch. But besides that. I have to train myself to be obedient to God's Word and not my own wants and desires. I will tell you the flesh is weak so you have call on the strength to see it through. 🙏✍📖💖

It's different all the time. Whenever I find a good one I want to use I guess. Or if I know it will be great to review here on my channel than I'll review and gift it to someone else who will use it more than me.
