In 1942 the Farm Security Administration (FSA) photographed farmers around the country. They stopped in the Pennsylvania Dutch area of Pennsylvania and photographed both Amish and Mennonite both on the farm and off.

Very good to publish this historical view. Nice pictures and interesting info e.g. carriages, school, auctions, food preservation etcetera. Greetings from the Netherlands

A very interesting video, thank you very much for that. It is really amazing that so many Amish people had their pictures taken back then, even now, most Amish avoid photos and filming as best they can☘️💫
