Thought I would try a new format of videos as in these short lore questions. Do let me know what you guys think. Also if you haven't checked out the second channel already we've released a video on the Vikings and their history. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-zRqYz70BhJw.html
Really appreciate the coverage on ogres. They have always been my favourite race and I love getting into on them. I honestly didn't know that ogres were responsible for so much of the hordes naval prosperity that was super cool to hear
Thank you so much, I've actually wondered how ogres got all over the place and was going to go searching, then your video pops up and it's just like, wow, perfect timing.
Goblin and Ogre were supposed to play a much bigger role in Vanilla and there was supposed to be a South Sea expansion right after Vanilla but because of technical limitations we were send to Outland.
Dude I legit thought they hid in barrels like rats. Like the Horde were unloading their ships when they first got off and when the barrel broke, like 15 ogres scattered.
this current expansion is literally the best time to implement them. Sylvanas could easily use the Stonemauls or. Her banshees to take over any of the clans they have access to. Beefy warriors and with some capable of necessary ship building skills, Sylvanas needs to do this
Great video!! I love the way you edit your visuals :) I hope one day we get playable Ogres or Mok'Nathal I actually didn't know too much about their navy so that was pretty cool
...The better question is, where the HELL did their remaining dreadnoughts go AFTER the 2nd War? Did they disassemble them to form their new strongholds? The ONLY one I can account for is sitting in a Defias run cave...
@@devincampbell5007 Possible, yeah. But we never see ANY hint of their old ships, let alone any newer or updated versions from Classic to at the EARLIEST either WoD or BFA (again, sans the *one* the Defias Brotherhood has been working on and think can, alone, pose a serious threat to a major city). The bigger mystery than how a naval *power* managed to get across the ocean is just what the hell happened to the ships they used to get there..
@@Recoil1808 Other than in WoD ogres were never really a big threat, so I think them not being used as a big Azerothian threat is a good reason we haven't seen their behind the screens navy. The Venture Co (which at this point might have the largest navy on Azeroth) we don't ever see much of either but they might have a few ogre Dreadnoughts since there are ogres in the Venture Co
@@devincampbell5007 It's more that we see their strongholds basically EVERYWHERE... Granted we MOSTLY encounter inland ogre clans, so coastal ones may not have even settled down in the same way...
Can you make a video about map and actual scales of islands? Current map looks so bad that if it were actual sizes of islands then it would be impossible for ogres to reach kalimdor just randomly cause islands fill too much of The Great Sea.
Mr. Doron, can you please make a video about what happened with the Draenor after we defeat Archimonde? I just done the Mag'har orcs scenario and I heard that Garrosh died, and I'm not sure. Btw, I'm really curious what happened in Draenor, and if Garrosh truly died.
I would say the ogres faced a decision: Stay and get hunted like game by the Alliance or sail westward with the hope they hit land We can assume which choice they went with
Definitely although the question of the video was how did so many ogres establish a presence in Kalimdor. The Eastern Kingdoms aren't really a mystery as they arrived with the orcs.
