well, he is right. heating up your veins causes them to expand. so to speed up the process I put mine in an oven. I can see all my veins now but I don't have any skin left
This is called vasodilation- showers can also cause it. One of my best tricks is to put my hands up for like 30 seconds to a minute and when you bring your hands down the will pop like crazy. Oh and also repeatedly squeeze your hands open and closed while in the air like you're trying to pump them full of blood.
Yeah heat expands your skin increasing the transparency of it. You can use a shower, sauna, sun light and some people also use hot water on their face to open up their pores more, making it easier to take all the dirt from their pores which stops, reduces and removes acne and break outs
@@micahbell9412 I mean this would imply that you think the opposite which is vasoconstriction would mediate this effect? Or most silly of all that a vien's diameter has no influence on vascularity?
I've known about this trick for years, this is why I carry the sun with me everywhere I go as it also provides perfect downlighting whenever I need to take pics
Same I’ve done if for years too, there are some doctors that get jealous and say that I have skin cancer 😹 they really think I’m going to believe that, they just mad that they can’t have the sun with them all day 😂❤
This is 100% correct the science behind this is veins are green in colour so the moment sunlight falls on veins they start the process of photosynthesis and become visible
It's not by the sun, it's simply because he was heated up already and had his arms down. As you know the veins return blood to the heart, so when you have them down, gravity goes against it so your veins have to pump harder
I’ve done this before and it always got me so confused on why my veins would always pop out in the middle of class. Thanks for this!(im pretty strong for a 12 year old and it just looks cool when I notice)
@@carsonhanson6416well google (my textbook too i think) also mention blood VESSELS so if it was arteries only they would just written arteries so its both ig
.As a medical student, this is actually really cool When you are exposed to heat, your body will order your blood vessels to dilate to let out more heat, and the opposite happen when in cold temperature
This is a process called vasodilation it happens so that the walls of the blood vessels get bigger and allow more blood flow. Decrease in oxygen levels or higher temperatures can cause this
Well, its actually because you put your arm down and know more blood flows down in your arm. You can lay your arm anywhere you want like that and the vains will apear.
Medical student here. So the reason this happens is because the haemoglobin in our blood actually starts to photosynthesise if exposed to the sunlight for a certain period of time, and so our veins expand to maximise the efficiency of the process. I would recommend not doing it too much though, because after a certain point, you may start to see roots and leaves appear all over you.
Reason: Basically, if your body is getting hot, it tries to cool itself. It does this by Vasodilation( Veins becoming large ). Pretty cool how our body works!
you will probably loose some king but Don’t worry just keep your protein high exercise when you can and also once you can start working out again muscle memory will get you back to where you were in no time you got this king stay strong
@@William_Li king I am 13 year old my height is 5'7 and I am doing excercise from last 30 days before 30 days my weight was 70 now it is 67.8 pls can I get some tips to loose more weight
Also the position of your arm heavily affects your vascularity, keeping your arms low makes it harder for blood to circulate back up, while if you lift your hands up blood can easily circulate back up the arm and go into the heart to restart it's cycle
while veins do appear to cool your body down, the video started with your hand raised and you lowering it down, making it seem like the veins appeared out of nowhere when in reality you raised your hands (veins disappear cuz of gravity) and lowered it (veins appears again) don't get sunburned kings
Well yes while this is true, he hid the area of his shoulder which is where you can squeeze a vein to get an extra pump into your arms. This causes veins to show more. So possibly this was mostly due to that little trick.
It's because when you're body is warm, veins are more visible. When you workout, you're veins are not visible because of pressure but because you're body is heating.
Heat has pretty good role but the main reason is actually his hand was up so there wasn't much blood flow but when he put down his hand, blood rushed into the veins and so it becomes visible.
