Pray Without Ceasing is always to give thanks and glory to our Lord. It starts in the morning and is the first thing in our mind and we fall asleep with it. and it continues during the day. Whatever we think or do God is the center of all.
we need a POSITION of the heart that is devoted to prayer, every decision we make will have HIM in mind, allowing the flow of communication to be heard. if he leads us we will follow, and being intentional! LOVED this one guys :)
Its quite impossible to pray to God about every decision. We make decisions constantly daily. If we are saved (spirit filled) and abiding in the word, being obedient to God word. Then the bible does tell us that God gives us the desires off our hearts (the desires that we have comes from God, he gives them to us, he places them in our heart). If this is so, if we have a desire to do some kind if ministry, we can move forward confidently knowing that God gave us that desire. But that aside, we should still pray often.
As we focus our minds and hearts on Jesus, we find Him shaping us, including how we pray. He enables us to give the gift of true intercession to friends, family members, and even strangers. Has God put someone on your heart and mind for whom you can pray?

You pray to God the Father of Jesus,in all your conscience thought.Like He's a good friend standing next to you.Ask Him His opinion on every decision you are about to make,and value His answer when it comes.at first you will ask ,but if His answer dont agree with yours,you will probably go with yours.which is a big mistake.Going with His will always work out in your long term best interest.The more time you spend in relationship with your most valued Friend,God the clearer and more frequently hear His voice.Plus its nice having a teacher and confidant that will never betray you.Works for me.I live God being a major part of my life,can't do it without Him!
I made myself prayers and spiritual reminders written in my KeepNotes that is every 3 hours in 3-6-9-12 intervals. (except for 12 am and 3 am of course) They are quite helpful to me because I tend to forget the most important spiritual truths of God. (He is sovereign and He loves me so I don't have to worry, God knows my every step, He knows my heart completely that even thougg I may not know it. etc.)
My understanding was to always pray the Father who Art in Heaven. The only time I have stopped was when verses in my mind came about Jesus talking about people who have flowery language in their prayers with empty actions and in my personal life when I am doing things that require my voice or my mind. For example, talking to people or reading or eating. What I got from another video titled "3 steps to unceasing prayer" from Ascension Presents is that I should give the moment I stop praying to God so the Lord will still be with me and I don't feel weird about not praying. We can all pray ideally for 12+ hours if we stop our worldy desires and focus on our prayers and get the bible verse of the day when we wake up in the morning.

Good question. I try to keep what I pray for very broad - and typically something that includes others (keep us safe and healthy). I try not to pray for specific things (repair my car).

Consistently Pray for forgiveness, guidance in a good (positive) direction, and for help against evil. Pray to be saved from hell (whatever that may be). Pray for your friends and your family too, it only takes a minute or so/less at a time to pray. Do it and your life will slowly get better, or maybe quickly. It probably just depends on you and the kind of person you are/have been. Don't wait until its too late and you have to suffer the consequences of built up bad karma from immoral acts/unrepented sins. Maybe together we can help make the world a better place by changing ourselves for the better, and changing things around us for the better. And addressing/thanking the CREATOR, LORD GOD at the beginning and end of your prayers would be a good idea 😊 Or just be my friend if you don't want to say the prayer 😄 I'm trying to help you get right with the LORD🙏 Amen. The church fathers practiced the 'Jesus prayer' (prayer of the heart) a method of literally praying without ceasing. This method is still practiced by orthodox monks on Mount Athos, and by other christians throughout the world. Read about it and find out about the power of this prayer! Hey John piper, you missed the point. In the original Greek Paul wrote the actual word meaning.....incessantly. So, Paul means to pray in tongues incessantly during your waking hours. I have personally experienced the benefits of praying in tongues incessantly. You want to achieve a 100 fold righteous walk? Pray your lips off in the spirit!!

Mike, hope you're doing okay. Continually read your Bible and you will learn who God is and what He wants for your life and you can respond to what He reveals to you through prayer time with Him. And as you grow your relationship with Him, He will instruct you how and what to pray.
