Interesting info. But you should talk with Thomas Seyfried about cancer being a metabolic disease. His research shows that being in ketosis, paired with a few drugs to suppress cancer cells from using glucose and glutamine starves the cancer. He has been doing this for many years with his patients. The issue is that it is a cheap way to destroy almost any cancer, so drug companies are not behind it and thus, it is not part of the Standard of Care in the USA.
Ok, still looking for the Grand Slam list of foods. RU-vid doesn't do a link in bio, but a link in description. Not there that I could find. I'm not a tech person tho, so... Tried link in bio of his Instagram, which took me somewhere, but not anywhere with a downloadable list of foods. Not that I could find anyway. Help!
I used to follow Dr Gundry, much I did not agree with, like "tomatoes are bad for you, don't eat them," I did not buy into to this, "don't eat fruit, bad for you," since on the fruit belief he has sorta changed his mind on that, I just felt he does not continue educating himself, he does not do research himself he depends on others studies, and I hope you Dr Li will be the one to do this, please don't shy away from his "weeeeelllll, I have to disagree with you". Once I discovered you Dr Li, you totally resonate with me and there is not a thing I disagree with, and I am grateful for you.
@@ethimself5064 No, and yes, they have lectins however they are not the lectins gundry talks about at all and Dr Li debunks this through science of the fruit itself, unless you have not come across his youtube videos on this specific or taken his online course, people are not aware that tomatoes do not have the lectins people react to. Gundry keeps drilling people don't eat tomatoes they are toxic, I hear and see this in most of his commercials, they have lectins, yes, but not the toxic lectins people are led to believe by him and others. I am blessed that I do not react to lectins, although recently I have reacted to peanut butter so I will take a break from it. No, tomatoes are not toxic. Beans, I love love beans, gundry says you can only eat beans if you pressure cook them, so now people have to run out and buy a pressure cooker if they want to eat them. Yes, they have the lectins people react to, I am blessed to have minimal reaction to beans, and I am blessed to have many pressure cookers because I home cook for my animals I refuse to feed the commercial toxic foods to them, another subject, but Dr Li says black beans and there is another one, they are so super for healing your body I would risk lectin reaction and eat them anyway if I did not have a pressure cooker.
@@rickylu7200 👍👍 I get this 100% The peanut butter thing - As an adult I have not eaten much although about 20 yrs ago I thought I would buy some and ever since rarely. I distinctly remember that it kinda slugs me out and does not digest very well. I figure that it is the very profile That is the issue fatty acid profile as any nut butter will do this if I eat too much(not very much). I also have the same reaction with any nut butters or too many nuts for the same reason. Plus the same if I ingest too much 33% cream, Again bad fat profiles I figure. Plus the fact that virtually all dairy in N. America is A1. For sometime I have been buying Ghee made from 100% grass fed, cows with good success as the fat profiles are very much different from typical N. American dairy products. In general, when I buy A2 milk or 100% grass fed dairy products I feel ok. Yep they are expensive but worth it. Take care👍
As we're all learning from Dr. Li and a few others, the spotlight is definitely, firmly on the gut microbiome and on our mitochondria. I have a question regarding the potential to starve cancer cells by limiting their access to fuel - particularly when they start operating on a 'fermentation' principle. If we're regularly ingesting lactic acid (through prebiotics/probiotics, eg. sourkraut, yoghurt, kimchi, sourdough etc.) is it possible that we are training our immune cells to recognise and perhaps gear up a defense to be deployed if the need arises in the targeting of cancer cells for destruction?
Absolutely, I totally agree with you. The poison is in the dose, and esp with all the bioactives and pytochemicals and polyphenols. I love learning utilize food as medicine....
I must share Dr Li, I asked you about my varicose veins during your course I participated in, I had a large blood clot, and my question was what foods would help me. I have learned from you what foods are wonderful for our veins, I follow this, and since, my blood clot is virtually gone, and my varicose veins have diminished substantially. This was your teachings that helped me and no one else did. I kept thinking during your online course, if I am eating foods to keep me cancer free and all the other diseases out there, have a strong immune system, then foods CAN heal my veins and it is working. A HUGE THANK YOU! No, I won't buy his new book, since when is he the guru for keto diet and changed it, it sounds, to his beliefs. I am not going to buy into to this either. However, everyone must discover for themselves what is BEST for YOU. I did. Thank you Dr Li! I am looking forward to YOUR new book, any word when it is coming out?
Get back to me as I have such veins since all of the lock downs and would like to know what helped you. 1 supplement helped me the most by far. These two are great. As are others.

Dear doctor cancer people can take dates and honey and when estrogen receptors was positive can they eat soya products please make a video it should be helpful for others too ❤
To import into US many cheese must be pasteurized first. Does this affect the benefits of a sheep milk cheese like Manchego? In the Blue Zones the milk would not have been pasteurized.
I've ordered the William Li "Eat to Beat Disease" on audio and have it arriving from the local library as well. I keep sharing as much information as I can with friends and family. I also enjoy Dr. Gundry's books! Thank you so much for posting all of this great information.
I love this video , i had no idea the ketogenic diet is good i was funny about starving your body🍔❌until your video with dr gundry . Thanks for this vidio dr lee
I looked for the grandslammer superfoods list and did not see it here or on his website. I have his awesome book and the download would be great to have if I could find it. Can anyone tell me where it's at?
Dr Will Li good afternoon I really love your channel I shared it to all my friends, families we follow every day makes lists of all the things you said good for our health. Thank you for all what you doing for the world...from Marylanders USA.
I'd also like to know what he was going to say about that, but he started by saying it was a good thing. And I know of another reason it's good to add milk to tea.
Sorry Dr. Li but I don't like your guest today. I always like your podcasts. This doctor had said a lot of misconceptions. Next time be diligent in choosing your guest.
Dr. Gundry has great information that should be listened to, but there are some easy ways to tackle lectins that make his advice much less daunting and restrictive.
Hi, I am looking for the grand slam food list that you said we can download from your bio. Which bio are you talking about? Is it instagram bio? I believe there is no bio section on youtube.
@@ethimself5064 Exactly! I kept asking Dr Gundry to touch on fermented foods, because he bunked so many veggies and especially fruits and he would not even address this. I know what fermented foods do for you, I have been doing it for years following Donna on the education she so gracefully shares with us, which in itself debunks so much he says over the years and all his books I wasted my money on. He finally did breakdown and offered sourdough bread back on his list but with hesitation, not good enough. Get educated Dr Gundry. Yes, we are all different, but here is the thing I find with Dr Li, he has an open mind and continues to educate himself and he is a true scientist on foods he is the researcher and looks at everything in the mind of a scientist. I have followed so many many so called guru about foods and say I will change your life, not so much. Until I discovered Dr Li. You can heal your body with food but one needs to follow the right person who truly knows what they are talking about, Dr Li.
I do look forward to you reading Dr Gundry's keto book and what you take away from what you read, if there is some good information, I am sure you are open minded (unlike Dr Gundry), I just don't want to buy the book and end up wasting money if I do not resonate with most of it. I did keto diet for a while and there are good things to take away from it, but I don't eat meat, my body cannot handle high fat which keto suggests this, I would vomit from it. I do basically eat once a day, of late I have been eating my kiwi in the morning and fast the rest of the time, I don't eat past 4 p.m., most days that is.
Myself what works for me is a simple low carb intake with healthy carbs and on occasion I indulge a little. Keto is not for everybody for sure. Come to think of it, everybody is different as I have found out over many years. ha, there is always a learning curve, well for me anyway as I can only speak for myself as the saying goes.
@@thetruthpost9693 Keto does not work for everybody as does any so called diet. Dis you actually watch the vid and the latest from Dr. Gundy at the very least?
