Nah, Sens are better than their record. Remember they were playing without Ullmark for a stretch. One of their losses, they rang the post like 6 times, and another was a late game surge from Vegas. They'll start pulling away from the rest of the mid teams soon.
I feel like this group of players is on its way to becoming a team. It will take a while to get the coaches messaging and this could be their year to make a playoff charge.
Maybe you should stay on the bandwagon through the ups and downs instead of leaving during the downs, it'll be a better look for you. The Leafs are the most entertaining team in the NHL dare I say sports in general. Take pride in the fact we don't have a boring or too predictable team. Half the fun with the leafs is their unpredictability 😄
I don't think that their record isn't that bad considering their new coach is a polar opposite to Keefe. They really will be a force once they're used to this new style
Steven - Players 91 and 67 were NHL-caliber talents who had outstanding chemistry on the ice-just look at their performances together. Your input isn't necessary as this pairing speaks for itself..
4-0 for the first half of the game and dominated that entire time. In the latter half they still dominated the entire time it was 5v5. The only time the jets scored they had a man advantage, which is not a recipe for winning games as the season goes on and refs get more lax.
Classic....lose this game...the sky is falling...fire everyone immediately...trade everyone now. Win the one game....back to dominant...best players ever...cup route booked back in. Same ol song and dance.
you used to be unbiased in your sports coverage. damn i miss hat picks and dang-its, and the paddle save emporium... Toronto did not DOMINATE the jets. they outplayed them but it ended up being a one goal game. empty net goal, sure. but it's not like it was a blowout. toronto and wpg both had great offensive power and goal scoring ability. it doesn't take anything away from toronto to call it like it was. it wasn't a "slaughter". it wasn't "domination". I think you're letting your love of your team overcome your objectivity
@nate9723 If you're taking that many penalties... and still getting scored on 4 times... it's still a problem. Brutal PK, brutal discipline. Again, referring to the game as a domination is just silly.
