How Do You Handle Defensiveness? 

It's crazy how this is true... 9 months and recovering...

I'm able to see both sides of any given problem. I'm a compassionate person I'm merciful it's just how Im made. I examine things from both perspectives. Here's the thing and maybe some women who are moms out there can validate this because no grown, married woman wants to treat her spouse like a child. Now there are the exceptions to this who are complete control freaks and have the desire to control every aspect of their life including their husbands so they treat their husbands like kids, but I'm not that person. Here is the conundrum: would we truly be treating our spouse like a child if they weren't acting like a child because I don't know about anyone else out there ,but as a momma when I see or hear the behavior of a child I cannot help myself the "momma" just comes out. I try really hard not to "parent" my spouse. So, I it begs the question of : don't they realize if they don't want to parented by their spouse maybe they shouldn't act like children ? Just saying food for thought.

Plse suggest something more if third party help is not available ,how to handle the defensive unfaithful husband

Is defensiveness the same as the unfaithful saying that because the marriage wasn't in a good place, that's why the affair happened?
