Yes, I understand the importance of fiber in my diet, however, you also need to drink water. I walk a tight rope having overactive bladder, drinking too much water or not enough water. My urologist recommends 50 ounces of water per day, and that is what I strive for everyday.

Dr. Malik. Your video today mentions the benefits of Fiber on your Bladder as wells detrimental effects from things like Caffeine and Artificial Sweeteners. I was wondering if you know of any detrimental effects that Saturated fats and Cholesterol have on Urinary Tract issues? Please let me and your Followers know. BTW...I still think you should be on OPRAH Periodically!! You'd be a great guest with lots of great things to educate the public on...like you do here on RU-vid!!
As a lifetime gym rat, I was the original naysayer when it came to people going gluten free. Thought those people were stupid. Then I got really sick and after a ton of heart test and a colonoscopy endoscopy they didn't find anything but my heart was racing and i was so wiped out. One smart doctor ran a test and discovered I had Celiac's syndrome. It been a long road and I had to radically change my diet, but I fill 10 year younger. No when I consume gluten I get a splitting headache in under 5 minutes. I ran into a doctor from the British isles totally by accident, his studies show that everyone's allergic to wheat gluten on some level and it causes inflammation in the body the other places than your gut. He also said his studies show sugar, gluten and alcohol are the main cause of hear disease and hardening of the arteries. Its made re-evaluate everything in my quest to live to 100. Now if I could just kick Diet Coke ! That stuff is as addictive as CRACK ! great info here. Thank You !
I'm low on Vitamin D, but I've tried 3 different supplements, liquid, gummy, and pill, and they all irritate my bladder more. I wish I lived in a sunnier place!
@@anthonygilgan8461 oh that's funny! Yeah hereditary congenital autoimmune diseases all my fault. My doctors don't know what they're talking about. The multiple surgeries I've had and the peg I face is all me being lazy 🤣 I'm not actually sure what you think I can do to eat myself out of intolerances. Or why you think I should. Or more to the point why you think I should care about your opinion.
You realise I am curing myself with diet? I eat a healthy diet that I can tolerate and my health is generally in control. It's only when I eat food I can't tolerate I'm ill. There's nothing lazy about it because that's not an easy diet to maintain.
Who’s asking you to listen ? Just because you have problems with fibre, there are millions who have problems for not having enough fibre. So stop complaining please.
