Coder getting FTK'd brings me back to that other video where he described getting FTK'd and got FTK'd by the exact same combo in Master Duel later in that same video.
@@halyoalex8942 The video where Coder describes an FTK then loses to it very soon after is this one: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-fokcIzCOhKI.html
The strength of mekk knights is that most MD players don’t read the negates and just keep playing cards in the same column expecting it to be a once per turn effect. Literally had a player play 3 spells back-to-back in the same column as a mekk knight while the spell negate was active
There's also the world scars combo that pretty much fucks over 90% of decks, specially if you get maxxd, throwing a Maxx C hand + the entire extra deck straight to the graveyard is true emotional damage.
As a Shaddoll player I cringed so hard at that game man wtf was that guy thinking? Linking away Winda to recover absolutely nothing, play of the century if you ask me.
A man battle fadered me today and got to experience the lovely interaction of “hand trap vs draco berserker”. Like set nothing, was relying of fader to work
"Bad backrow deck requires floodgate to win" I mean, that's kind of true and not? We don't have rexterm in MD and it's a floodgate so we have to use another floodgate, but at the same time, the deck is playable even without other floodgates.
I don't have any issue with Chenying. I imperm Chixiao because it procs Chenyings effect. But I have ways to bounce it before banishing my cards, so there's that.
I beat RDA with salads, and they called by the graved my bael, while I had gazelle in grave, and I used resurgence every turn until they scooped, and I kept adding back gazelle and a extra deck monster. I've been playing salads since they came out, so I know how to get around just about anything. I run 2 heatleo. He's come in handy on quite a few occasions, cause his ATK manipulation doesn't target, and you are allowed to target ash in your GY
I'm a simple man, I see people like DistantCoder having a miserable time, I click. Makes me want to make a Bishbalkin just on the off-chance I can ruin his day.
I literally chuckle every single time I watch this as he calls out the combo, and then proceeds to have a meltdown as he predicts the combo 🤣 coder is me when I play MD.
I don't know if you read these comments on old videos. But I'm sure you'll find this hilarious. I just had a game where my opponent had several monsters on the field, and 3 back row They still had 8,000 LP. It was turn 12, my turn. All i had was a Pacifis on field, and a Dimensional Shifter in hand. I was down to 400 LP. I drew a Harpie's Feather Duster. I played it. They activated Crossout Designator for some reason. To banish the aptly named Foolish Burial. Pacifis activates, I get token. Search for the negate trap. Then pass turn. They leave, lol
Chanbara having an animation makes perfect sense...it's a card that will never be banned, but is one of the most widely played L5 synchros in the game (I think only second to T.G. Hyper Librarian...which is always at risk of leaving the game). It's one of those cards that just wins you the game in a wide variety of simplified board states.
honestly i dislike handtraps as a concept, but definitely the handtraps after the ash/ogre/droll trio are just terribly balanced. especially nib, as pretty much the only counters to nib are preventing special summoning, or just have crossout and run nib yourself, or just dont summon more that 4 times which good luck with that and having a semi competent board
14:48 This make my scrap old heart fell good :') I used to play scrap on duel links and it's still one of my favourite decks They just became a forgotten acrtype now which is sad.
I am 100% sure that MD, or at least the DC is rigged. I literally played 15 adventure players in a row, so i added Token Collector to the deck, after i added that i got 10-12 non-adventure players. I thought yeah sure, im just going to troll a bit and play cook exodia, and all of a sudden everyone is playing Kaijus. Mind you all the games before that i *never* got kaiju'd.
Hi I was wondering if you can answer a question for me I was wondering if Gustav Max Gustav Maxx for Earth machines and river stormer are they a once per turn or a soft once per turn I'm still kind of new at playing these games so I'm just trying to learn what I can put in a deck to actually win
Sometimes when I smell popcorn for no reason it's because I'm a nasty bastard who forgot to shower 🤣🤣 This is why I like your channel, everyone can explain yugioh or talk about it but it's your character for sure for me
What was that about Gazelle not being chain link 2? First you activate something, then your opponent gets to respond, and then you can continue the chain. What's insensible about this?
I would like to lose some random ftk like that insted of just losing to skill drain 5 times in a row and then to infinite negate combos when I try run feather/storm every night after work as I slowly descend back to gold.
I hate it when I hear "I should still be able to OTK". No deck should be able to do that at all. That's so freaking wild. I really like the good old times where you actually played Yu-Gi-Oh.
The good old times of tribute summon Summoned Skull and win from that? Or the good old times of Yatalock? Or the good old times of insect barrier DNA Surgery? Or the good old times of Magical Scientist? You don't miss old yugioh, you miss when you and your friends didn't know how to play at a high level and made stuff up
@@exzyyd392 No, I miss the good old times of actually building a board. Not set one pass. Where you built your boss monster and the opponent tried to break your board. There was no (consistent) OTK, no tribute your entire board, no stop you from playing while I am not effected at all, and no generic omni negates you get almost for free on the board. And even if it were my vision as a little child, it doesn't change the fact that the game powercreeped so hart that it's almost unplayable now. Seriously, actually playing the game would be considered a long round/match.
@@sharktos3218 Oh no, a 20 year old game has changed over time. Even then, the only one of those that hasn't been around from the start is omninegates. No one is forcing you to play yugioh.
