The reason everyone knows his backstory is cause the man always tells it before he fights someone.

Just so y'all know: John John got his jaw ripped off by that pitbull he fought with his bare hands when he was a young kid. After 16 surgeries and 4 metal plate implants, John John was finally released from the ICU and devoted the next 10 years of his life training to fight the enemy that was responsible for his metal jaw. Finally, when John John returned to his hood he learned that he was too late to fight the pitbull because he had passed away 3 years prior to his return. Luckily, the pitbull left behind a son who became next in line to receive John John's revenge. John John didn't train 10 years in Siberia for nothing.
