Who would have thought Cedric Diggory would become a great Batman. This a pretty good movie , dark and very detective like. I can see why most fans would rank this in the number 2 spot. I enjoyed how the movie got the Riddler right in this film, easily the best movie Riddler that I have seen. Overall this was a job done well, depicting a young Batman after the events of Batman Year One. I can see that you like Batman a lot . Good video.
There’s only been like two movie Riddlers dude. And this one is not comic accurate in any sense. I’m not complaining at all, this movie is a masterpiece but to say “they got the Riddler right” 👌🏽 🙄
I loved how dark this Batman was. I usually do like to see the Bruce Wayne alter ego be more charismatic and fun, but I think as the series goes on we will see that side and it will be a great character arc.
I loved it so much. I totally agree with it being second. Maybe even tied for 1. Imo, im not the biggest fan of batman but this movie was so good from a film standpoint, the way it was shot, the vibes and the way Bruce Wayne was just a dark, mysterious, loner type guy was great. Robert did an awesome job and I liked zoe Kravitz as catwoman.
The Dark Knight is considered to be one of the greatest films of all time period, not just by comic book fans but critics and audiences in general. I really liked The Batman(despite some issues I have with the script) but I struggle to even put it in that same conversation.
I think its only fault is that Movie was too longer but I have The Dark Knight as number 1 because of Joker but who knows the next Batman Movie might be better than The Batman because it will also have the Joker in the Movie
‘The Batman‘ was awesome. I don’t think it was too long, it was very engaging beginning to end. Seeing more of the detective side of Batman was fantastic. The cinematography and score were exceptional. Robert Pattinson nailed it and Zoë Kravitz is probably my favourite Catwoman. Overall I’d give it 9/10.
Yeah I’ve not understood why people complain about how long it is. I’ve never noticed it drag on despite being 3 hours. It’s just that good. I still prefer The Dark Knight tho
when i first heard pattinson was playing batman i was super excited. he looks the part (that jaw tho), he showed he was a good actor in movies after twilight, and he showed he could play a weirdo in twilight (which is part of what makes his bruce and batman so great imo)
Ikr, it really annoyed me big time that people couldn't get over twilight, (and many still cant) cos he's fantastic and people forget that he's been in other movies, it was the same with heath ledger but still people wouldn't learn
When you think about it he wasn't a bad actor in twilight, he was actually really good, it was what he was given that was bad and cringy and he just worked with what he got
Personally I consider batman returns to be one of if not the best batman film I'm actually a little surprised that it is so low in the rating. Michael Keaton is in joint first place with Kevin convoy and oddly Ben Affleck in the third place.
I totally, agree. Batman Returns is the only one I love, beside the animated series. Michael Keaton is the man!!! Newer generations must have not seen it, for it to get such low ratings. imo, its better than the first one, with Jack Nicolson as the Joker. Also, Michelle Pfeiffer is the Best Catwoman ever!!!
This was so cool to watch. Batman is also my favorite superhero. He looks cool, has a ton of amazing gadgets and vehicles, he's the world's best detective, and he's kind of like a dad with all the kids he picks up and trains. I'm really glad you made this and I hope you make more videos like it. God bless you, dude.
we need a full review of The Batman soon. I actually want more Marvel and DC content especially the latter pls make more dc. Also what did you think of Henry Cavill's Portrayal of Superman
I’m gonna be watching The Batman this Friday, so hopefully I’ll be able to survive the two hours and fifty-six minutes of Robert Battinson in a bat costume.
This is a really cool video! I’d love to see more superhero content 🙂 I saw The Batman last weekend and haven’t been able to stop thinking about it! I think I’ll go see it again for sure
Robert Pattison acting career in a nutshell (form what I know) : Harry Potter : Deadric Twilight: I’m back from the dead, bitches! *becomes a vampire* Batman: I am batman
To me, TDK is still the best movie featuring Batman, but TB is a better Batman movie if that makes sense. If you think about it, TDK is basically Law and Order meets The Godfather with Batman while TB is basically Se7en with Batman. I think the latter is a better fit for Batman because Batman is the world's greatest detective, not the world's greatest mob buster.
hey morgan, i was wondering if you have ever read chronicles of narnia books before or seen any of the movies? cuz that will be cool if you made some narnia videos :)
This is the first Batman movie I have ever seen lol so I don’t know anything about the ranking. I am just going with movie flame’s opinions because, hey when was the last time that I ever disagreed with your rankings. Also fun fact that I have just seen Twilight and Harry Potter for the thousands time so when I went to the theater I just go” hey is that Robert Pattinson” and got a ticket. Great video!
I know Batman plays a big part in both versions of Justice League, but I really don’t see how they count as Batman movies. Batman v Superman counts more as a Batman movie as his name is in the title. Still I’ll count them anyway in my ranking, though I haven’t seen The Batman yet or those serials. 1) The Dark Knight 2) Batman Begins 3) Batman (1989) 4) Batman: Mask of the Phantasm 5) Zack Snyder’s Justice League 6) The Lego Batman Movie 7) Batman Returns 8) The Dark Knight Rises 9) Batman (1966) 10) Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice 11) Batman Forever 12) Justice League 13) Batman & Robin
Batman 89, The Dark Knight and Mask of the Phantasm are 3 of my favorite movies of all time and Batman Returns is my favorite Batman movie. The Batman is awesome, It's my favorite movie of 2022 so far.
I would give rank4 as it didn't have suspense of Riddler leaving notes but made videos himself and how Batman just followed his path than thinking for himself so many times and Riddler told everything which was to be done
Hello Morgan, this video about ranking all Batman films is great because I like Batman. After I watched this video and the video about the list of Batman actors, I wonder if you can try ranking all Superman fi lma or list of Superman actors or something. Now you may not planning this one but I hope you can. Thanks for the video
Lol, ngl before the video started I thought and gave this new batman film rank 2. It was perfect for my taste, yes a little dragged but i dont mind but i can see how some casuals will like this less just like my big brother. This is the most beautiful batman movie i have ever seen. Every shot was perfect and beautiful
My husband is a huge fan, so I watch in support. I like Batman but I’m not a die hard fan like him. Anyway, to this day, one of my favorite movies is The Dark Knight. I could never get past the way Christian Bale talks in his mask but it is one of the movies I rewatch at least once a year. So I guess that says something about the film. My husband though, he really loved that this latest one, The Batman, was dark. It was one of the things he liked most about it.
While I do appreciate the darker tone and Pattinson's acting in The Batman, the plot of the movie was just not up to par IMO. Being the world's greatest detective, you would think Batman would be able to figure things out and take action before shit starts blowing up, instead of always just reacting to the stuff going on around him. The way the story flowed (especially the whole 'URL' bit) just put me off it. Either way, great video as usual!
Out of interest where would you have put The Killing Joke if you were to include it on the list? I know most hate Batman and Robin but I think it's great all the 1 liners from Arnie is classic stuff
I haven't seen The Batman yet so I won't watch this till then. For me I don't go to the movies until after a week or 2 later from its release so its less crowded.
ok i know u want o do more then just harry potter content but can you do a video that is a bit different and try some quizzes off of wizarding world website
I finally saw The Batman and can give my *true* comment. It focused more on his detective skills then just his toys and crime fighting. The batarang being his insignia was a unique design, just as the suit in Batman Begins explains its fire-, bulletproof and tear resistance. While everyone thought that Robert wasn't gonna do good, I didn't think anything at all of less of him, cause I'm more focused on the film then whose playing who. There's gonna b 2 more films and 2 spinoff series on HBO Max. Robert better learn to throw and catch his batarang since here he only used it to cut. As for Catwoman's outfit, the classical jumpsuit and claw nails r alright but not the mask. She needs a better one as this is a winter hat with a torn hole for the eyes with 2 small lumps for the ears u could partially c. I go for something like Anne Hathaway's. I do like Halle Berry's outfit too as it brought out both the character and actress hotness. If this is the Riddler's newest look I just think in the sequels he should have something else. Morgan, u didn't talk about Batman & Robin. While lots may not like it but some do, and Uma's 1st Poison Ivy costume was the best. Oh and, what did u mean that we're not getting anymore of DCEU's Batman.
I think its a good start for a new batman trilogy and some people don't need to compare it to the dark knight and should just probably compare to the batman begins
I have to say Pattenson really gave a stunning performance and the movie was a in both scope and execution extraordinary! My only gripe is that out of the suit he did not look like he was even a young Batman physique wise. The movie was so enjoyable though I even gave that a pass.
Other than the animated ones where we get you know the whole bat family in I would have to say Christian Bale has to be my favorite Just because we see a good balance between Bruce Wayne and Batman and they're both treated not as separate people. I also like the way the director went with it. I definitely like Robert Patterson better than Ben Affleck It has nothing to do with how not great Justice League was. It's just how they handle the whole Batman character you know Batman doesn't like his guns you know he's mass murdering with a giant tank, And how his morals doing exactly translate into the character is what got me but it was good though. Seeing something different and aged Batman going through the diploma of I'm not going to be here forever Part of him but again it's just became down to his morals and how well that translates into screen Christian Bale did excellent job and Robert Patterson was different but yet we still got glimpses of the same Batman we know and love. But I will say I would prefer to see more Bruce Wayne. The overall I thought the movie was really good and wanted DC's kind of better live-action films but let's be honest nothing can compare to DC animation and the bat family
Meanwhile Bake killed Talia by swerving her off the road, killed.harvey dent, crushed guys to death in the tunnel scene yet no outrage from you. Batfleck isn't a murderer most of the criminals death are from his wreckless behavior. Only person he wanted to kill was Superman but he couldn't bring himself to do it. It's funny you guys keep mentioning BVS as you think you did something but never mention his character arc in ZSJL where he followed that up but doesn't fit your agenda. Just saying fallacies with no proof
I agree "the batman" is just below the dark knight. Also agree that it was too long, it could've been shorter. A longer version can be enjoyed at home. There's a 4 hour blu ray release though.
I thought the new batman man was dark. The riddler ( Paul Dino ) was not the greatest but most dark villain the best villain would defiantly go to The Joker ( Heath Ledger )
Was a good movie, it was just far too slow at some points, with the same repetitive sound track highlighting how long the slow points made the film feel, the special effects also were very subpar compared to the Bale films, the scene where he uses the cape to glide off a building was so bad, was almost a comical use of green screen. I would rank it behind all 3 Bale films and the Snyder cut. The acting and storyline saves it from falling any further
it doesn’t have to do with this video but what if in the hunger games Lucy Gray was Katniss grandma because she came up with the hanging tree song And somehow Katniss a dad knows the song Katniss dad had blonde hair and I believe Lucy Gray had blonde hair and I know it’s sort of a stretch but the timeline would work out.
It's a solid #3 for me. 1) The Dark Knight - still the best Batman film and comic book movie ever made 2) Batman Returns - This new movie actually made me gain new appreciation for Michelle Pfeiffer and Danny DeVito. What's better than realistic character? Dynamic characters who are bigger than life. They are exaggerated fantasy but they work because they have so much personality. 3) The Batman 4) Zack Snyder's Justice League (2021) 5) Batman v Superman (Ultimate Edition) 6) Batman Begins 7) Joker 8) Batman (1989) 9) Batman Forever 10) The Dark Knight Rises 11) Batman & Robin Although I have to say if we are ranking Batmen, Robert Pattinson's portrayal is easily better than what we got in The Dark Knight and Batman Returns. HIS EYE ACTING! His eyes are SOOOOOOO expressive! I loved Pattinson's portrayal more than Keaton, but I still like Christian Bale's Bruce Wayne in The Dark Knight Rises more than this. Bale was so morose & repentant in TDKR, I loved how much depth he gave Bruce Wayne in that movie.
The Catwoman line was whack. I liked the movie though, The Dark Knight is I think was better than The Batman. The Dark Knight then The Batman are my top two in that order. But I do understand Batinson is growing and he could evolve into the best Batman. His fighting could evolve into something better, the Bruce persona may also, and his detective skills and puzzle solving, though th carpet was pretty good just didn't solve it on time.
I noticed the Catwoman line as well on my first watch. But I have mixed feelings about it. The film in general didn't seem to have any political agenda, at least not one that was showed down my throat, and that single line is the only one which I can think of that was "woke". So I'm not sure if this is a case of people just seeing "wokeness", the same way as many people see racisms, even though it may not be there. Or is it a case of them showing a small "woke" line in a movie. I don't know, but it doesn't really bother me much either way. If there is only one word in a 3 hour which is somewhat annoying than I'm fine with that.
I felt the eventual FINAL plot twist (no spoilers of course) was TOO CONVOLUTED and, more importantly, WASN'T NECESSARY. I loved the film up until that moment, from then on it was meh, too 'Joker-like' to me.
