Delightful interview. I love Fr Mike! Bible in a Year was transforming for me. And I'm kicking myself for not doing it again this year because it was that good. Looking forward to Catechism in a Year!

Thank you for introducing us to Fr. Mike as a person instead of as a celebrity. Admittedly, I tend to be very distrusting of 'celebrity priests' because of the accompanying cult of personality. I pray that Fr. Mike will persevere in humility and please our Lord in good service. St. Michael, pray for us!

I love the endorsement of Alpha by Fr. Mike! We use it at our parish with youth and adults with great fruit.

I worry about having too much Catholic media such as podcasts. My concern is that it dilutes it and makes it easy to inject biases and personal thoughts that are outside of Catholicism. We've all seen how Christian groups have gone right off the rails, particularly in America and through social media. It's nice to have access to the wider community through the internet, but it's dangerous too.

I am surprised Zac never wanted to read the entire Bible. Listen to Fr. Mike’s Bible in a Year. You will know what you are missing:)

Is this -True - if you do not do the will of God - you will not be going to heaven. Because this is what I read in the Bible Well I am guessing I won’t be going to Heaven, So , now what happens to me. Well . What now happens to me. I have been Baptized. But since I won’t be doing God : will , now what Happens to me We’ll need advice on this Hopefully it won’t take a year

This is only my opinion, so keep that in mind. You said you're baptized, you know it saids in the bible to do the will of God, you said you don't do God & you want to know where that leaves you, am I right? 1st you were brought into God's family by baptism but as with every family you can choose to stay or leave but they're still your family. 2nd you know at least some of God's word, maybe alot, I'm not sure. And you don't do God, again I'm guessing you're not behaving as good as you can be. But what happens to you is your choice. Freewill! Jesus doesn't want to loose any of us. He loves us more then we even love ourselves. And at the end of our lives, he gives us what we've chosen. What good is freewill if at the end of this life he forces you to spend eternity with him if you don't want to. You see what I mean? Hell is where you go if you don't choose an eternity with him, you choose eternity without him, without the greatest love. This life will end, that's a fact. A Christian believes that the death is actually the birth of our new life. The life without death, pain, sadness, decay, the life God intended for us in the garden before sin brought death to the world. Where we walk with God in relationship with him. We call it heaven. But if you don't want Him or any relationship with him then you go to a place where he's removed from your site. A place void of his presence & love. But the place you choose is for eternity, the next life is eternal. So I can't say what will happen to you, other then you'll get what you choose. But I can say that I know he loves you & there's no sin he wouldn't forgive. We all sin, we're all broken but he'll always be there with open arms. I'll be praying for you ❤

this is a softball interview. not one challenging question was put to father mike, such as: what does he make of the widely held belief that the church in the u.s. is morally bankrupt? or: does he believe that clericalism is as serious a problem as does pope francis?

He and his Ascension Colleagues went at least a *year* after January 6th acting like the Capitol Invasion never happened and traumatized a TON of people, believers and unbelievers alike. Not a single response whatsoever like they did with The Pennsylvania Report or George Floyd saying how wrong it was and that we're meant to be better witnesses to our faith than expressing disagreement this way. And not a single word explaining their silence or apologizing for the delay. Forget all of their ministry credentials and successes and love for Jesus and his Church. What does that say about them as PEOPLE? About how safe they are for people trying to recover from the horror of seeing other publicly professing Christians committing premeditated assault and terrified that they need to accept this if they want to stay on good terms with God?

If all religions lead to the same God as promoted by RCC, isn't Jesus Christ's death on the cross in vain?
