Remember the Gift Shop fish tank Nemo and Marlin where trapped in? There was a toy fish banging its head onto the glass in the direction Nemo and a Marlin needed to get out. It's almost as if the toy was PURPOSELY pointing them in the right direction. And what's a Pixar movie we know includes toys with kids of their own? That's right, Toy Story *drops mic*
You should do an updated Pixar theory video that would be a good thing to do so that we have an updated knowledge of what is currently happening in the pixar universe.
Do the Pixar shorts fit into the theory? Is there a separate, mini-universe for the Pixar shorts!? Seriously!!!! This idea could be really cool!!!!! Please notice this comment!
I can't remember from the movie that much. But, I remember when Dory and Hank was in the stroller trying to get to Dory's parents. Hank stated, " Don't steer me towards a kid, what if it touches me?" Does this have ANYTHING to do with Monsters Inc?
Buster doesnt appear to talk because he doesnt have another dog to talk to and/or doesnt speak to toys or humans. Finding nemo/dory, all animals talk to animals, no humans hear the comotion from hank and dory, and the dentist doesnt hear his fish tank talking. just pointing that out
EASTER EGG: in the marine lab (finding dory) , you can see a framed picture of Darla, the girl with the braces in the dentist in finding nemo. Thats the only easter egg i remember.
Darla was that little girl that her and Hank ( I think that's the octopuses name) crashed into on the stroller. The one that spilled popcorn. At least that's what I think so idk 😂
To you, my friend, I wish to point something out. Clownfish live for only 3-6 years. So given the fact that nemo apparently remains a small child for a YEAR, I think that there is not actually a year's difference between finding nemo and finding dory. I think that is actually a fish year. now, I don't know what a fish year would be, but it would sure make a difference to timelines, and make a good story as to how the tank fish survived that long in plastic bags.
⚠SPOILER WARNING⚠ Ok, so I don't want to be weird but everytime I watch a movie I always catch a deep dark message from them, kind of like a warning or and eye opener. So in the movie Dory is trying to find her parents, when she gets to the quarantine it is obvious that she is sick/contaminated and so is the octopus, now what I was noticing was the start of a contamination spread, for example Dory switches from tank to tank eventually getting to the fish that are in display which are obviously healthy which I'm pretty sure she contaminates than she end up in the little water tank where children are playing in touching little starfish and stuff, when the octopus releases it's in to the water several children come in contact with it, now we know that children suck on there finders or eat without even washing there hands or maybe even just touching it could get them sick and we know that the octopus is sick so there is a spread to the humans. So Dory continues spreading it around or whatever and now we have Nemo and Marlin we see birds who look visibly sick already carrying these fish from an to the ocean, if Nemo and Marlin weren't already sick they definitely got sick when they went through the same path Dory did. It's quite dark and creepy but it's the way I see it. Maybe its a message of what is to come or let me correct that, what is already happening andvwe are too blind to see. How we continue to pollute and don't realize the harm it will do to humanity and all of Earth and it's creatures. Hope this didn't bother anybody, if anybody else saw it this please comment it is definitely a very interesting topic.
TheYoshinatorz That's not the definition of a plot hole. A plot hole in when there's something missing that needed to be there to further the plot that was missing in the final product. The plot was able to move all the way through nicely without that detail. If they added that it would just be a needless detail. Hanks one like saying "...and I don't have extremely fond memories of that place" is fine. We don't need to slow down the plot with needless add-ons. That's what makes a movie boring.
Tell that to the people who love it, the box office, the critical and guest reviews. Its universally loved. People are enjoying it more than Nemo, which is why people like you have to cone around and insert your meaningless opinion. And no one cares about what Dory said as a child, I've heard children say far sillier (and cuter) things. That line probably came from a real kid.
Could also be that radiation and chemicals dumped into the Ocean could accelerate the sea life... and the underwater life also has a shorter lifespan, so they more swiftly evolve, as they have faster "steps."
I disagree with a few stuff! better environments that pose no challenges for the animal actually decreases their intelligence because they don't have to evolve to survive! just like in wall e where the human were lazy and fat because they didn't have more challenges to overcome! this isn't a theory but a fact...
SPOILER TERRITORY I completely broke down into tears when Dory found her parents. No, it wasn't just a few tears, I had to cover my mouth and bite down on my arm to keep from sobbing aloud.
I think I saw the pizza planet truck on the part when Hank the septipus is driving the car on the infinite turn. The car was kind of at the end when they were going back and into the water.
forreal because Walmart has optical, taxes, its own bank and credit card system, everything that a person could possibly need in a store! or maybe in a... spaceship????
did anyone else realise in Zootopia at the start when they were going through the areas of Zootopia, in the snowy place (i honestly can't remember what it was called) at the bottom left there are two elephants, one in an Elsa costume and one in an Anna costume, obviously nodding to their previous movie. I found this first time at the cinema!
Finally saw it!! IT WAS SO GOOD! I was not disappointed. I remember watching Finding Dory literally every day during the summer that it came out after 6th grade.
I had a problem with the fact that Dory and Marlin and Nemo could just get dumped in any type of water and be ok, they were in saltwater, freshwater, probably chemically balanced water, and straight up soapy dirty mop water, and everything was fine, I'd like to think this has to do with animals being more advanced by this time, but it still bugs me. What are your thoughts on it?
Jungle kinz :WarriorCatKinz They love it though. I've talked to people who work there and, they think it's fantastic. But seriously we don't actually believe it, it's just fun.
I live in California and the water is always murky because of mud and silt but the wreckage and trash are fake as far as I know. Hope this changes your thinking of CA!!
True but I think Pixar was looking at the us all around with so many people not picking up their trash. Have you seen how many cans and glass is left after a party and how many people think there should be millions of home built each your and that that is killing the enviorment even I can see it and I am 15
okAY YEEAH BUT I HAVE A QUESTION IN ONE OF THE SCENES OF FINDING DORY, THERE IS AN EASTER EGG OF A CALENDAR WITH WALL-E ON IT. HOW WOULD THAT WORK IF THE TIMELINE GOES: Finding Nemo, Finding Dory, Ratatouille, Toy Story 3, Up, Cars *THEN* Wall-E ANSWER THIS PLEASE IT'S MESSING ME UP
Well walle stands for waste allocation load lifter earth class. So I'd say their an offshoot brand of bnl that existed way before the movie walle as a garbage collector at possibly the miramar landfill. An automated bot collection of robots. That company would advertise that for sure.
something that could fit is that wall e was a prototype machine (since there was a lot of trash during finding dory as well) and that calendar was a promotional thing from bnl. Then wall e could have been a product that only wealthy people would buy, but when earth started becoming unsafe bnl mass produced them very quickly (which could also explain why so many other wall es didnt work because of them being made too quickly and cheaply) to try to fix the dying earth(Also to boost their image since big businesses are usually the ones making a lot of pollution
Spoiler alert. There was a toy fish when Marlin and Nemo were in a small fish tank, and it's not a random thing that the fish was pointing on the direction Marlin needed to go.
Sorry to poke holes. But as you stated in "Pixar Theory" at 1:46, ratatouille comes before Finding Nemo. Not after. Still like your theory on this anyways :D.
Yeah, I mainly take quarrel with him saying "The better your environment is for you to live in the faster your species can evolve" cause, that implies comfort, so hes basically saying the exact opposite of evolution, I get its a theory for a movie, but hes explaining it like he knows stuff about evolution
Actually anyone living in North or South America consider themselves American.. The United States is only a part of the Americas.. But United Statesian sounds weird af so we just say we're american but if you're from the us and go anywhere else in North or South America and say you're american everyone is going to say "me too where are you from?" Just like there isn't a country of Asia or Europe or Africa they are all continents made up of smaller countries..
only just been able to see finding dory as it came out later in the uk, and ive been on holiday so only got to see it yesterday. but i can now watch all of the finding dory videos you have done all at once!
Maybe humans were starting to realize how much garbage they were making and decided to build a robot to compact the garbage more and make it easier to control but then people thought it would get rid of the garbage problem but it didn't and then things just started to build up and that's how we get to wall-e because it might take a while for people to recognize that we'r messing up but by then it's too late
You can't find this movie with beeetter quaaaalityyуy than hеre => twitter.com/d8d0e43296bc82f1b/status/739084066801254400 How Finding Dory Fits Into The Pixar TTheory
Pixar didn't explain why Dory is kinda smart,in her own way :) . . . remember the time when shes telling Hank about his 3 hearts?? shes speaking like a scientist at that part, and how come shes the only fish that can actually read . .not to mention how does she get her "short term memory lost"
Wait if it's a 1 year gap between Finding Nemo and Finding Dory....how is dory a baby? Cuz if it's 1 year later it's not possible......1 year before is plausible though. Also baby dory is adorable.
Am I the only one who saw the truck from ToyStory 1 in the movie (Finding Dory) when Hank drives the truck and he goes round the roundabout you can see the ToyStory truck driving into the roundabout :) (Sorry if this makes no sense)
The Film Theorist theory about Dory faking is false. If you actually watched the movie you would know that she is telling the truth about her memory loss
The movie made me cry. When Dory finds her parents and the fact that they put lines of shells pointing in all directions for YEARS. Their dedication is amazing.
Him: Sigourney Weaver ..... Me: excuse me. **Replays that bit and sees the picture.** OMG YES ITS THE WARDEN FROME HOLES. YESSS (The Wardens most famous quote: excuse me)
+spencer jones they are brothers with J (the person in this video) being the oldest, Ben, the other person being the middle child and Tyler (their other brother who is not a part of this channel) being the youngest
