I obviously can't speak for everyone in my generation (gen Z, born in '99), but the impetus for me trending for conservative and "traditional" is partly because I look at the older generations that swallowed new-aged Atheism hook, line, and sinker (Millennials, Gen X), and get the sense that they're bloody miserable 😵‍💫

(Millennial, born in 1989) I'm glad to see the younger generation which is the Gen Zs and Gen Alphas doing better for themselves. You forgot to mention the Baby Boomers because they raised the Gen X culture. I agree with your post. I was super liberal but I'm more conservative and neutral because I look at things from both sides instead of one sided.

There is a lot of trauma and resentment between Boomers and Gen X. Boomers are the pinnacle virtue signalers, devoted to the establishment, and don't practice any of what they like to preach. They got married to avoid the draft, got divorced afterwards and abandoned Gen X to the streets. Stranger Things isn't hyperbole, they were not pnly absentee parents, but resentful. When Gen X tried to sing the blues, Boomers resorted to censorship. The news literally had to say every night "It's 10pm, do you know where your children are?" While our freedom was fun, the fact is we felt completely abandoned. And turned against every establishment. The fact is Boomers are narcisstic because they were ptsd from both WW2 and Vietnam. This is you get secessive generations that are ideologically opposed. Gen X swore to not be the Boomers. They became pro freedom of speech (Gen X spends the most time in Twitter jail) pro family. Much lower divorce rates and involved parenting. Admittedly, it was overkill. But we had nothing to go on. So if Boomers were hypocritical corporate hippies, Gen X swung to the right. I swear you can see this division in my house. I hope this trend continues because this is precisely what Gen X set out to do is stop the generational trauma. We may have gone about things the wrong way but we had to figure out everything for ourselves . We even had to teach ourselves to breastfeed.

As a millennial (1986 baby!) I’m hoping and praying this next generation rises up and learns from previous generations on mistakes made. A godless Society has gotten us nowhere. Traditional values work and we naturally gravitate towards it. Women want to be with strong MEN and men want to be with WOMEN that are nurturing (someone they could see raise their children) we’ve gotten so far from these things the pendulum will swing eventually. We are starting to see revival and many people including celebrities turn to God, kat von D, Russell Brand, daddy yankee and many others. We must continue to pray that the scales fall off peoples eyes and they find God! ❤🙏

Our church has in the last few years since we joined seen tons of growth; there have been several young families like ours who converted soon after us (before us there was only one) and there is a pretty large group of gen z young men and a few women inquirers/catechumens/recent converts.

I’ve observed that when people are younger, they tend to learn more liberal because they have a lot of ideas of what the world SHOULD be, given their young minds and creativity. As millennials get older, and it’ll be a similar pattern for Gen Z, we begin to experience more realities of life and understand the value of traditional values and why adults put them in place. Now that I turned 28 with my own family, I favor more traditional and conservative values as a way to give structure and balance for my new baby. But I can tell you, I was veryyyy liberal as a teenager to my early 20s.

This channel and this video are SO encouraging. I wish my generation could get back to what matters- family. Leaving behind a legacy. My husband and I are Gen Xers and started late having babies (started when I was 35 and my husband was 36). We just grew up in a different world than what our kids got. We actually didn't have internet until college and didn't get smart phones until we were in our early 30's. Once we realized how rotten the public schools were we pulled our kids out right away. We also saw the poisoning of youth with the insane CDC schedule and we're rejecting pharma. Too much change too fast and starting parenthood late in life will shock you when you see how dramatically it has all changed. I can't wait for the pendulum to swing on the screens too. Too many young mothers who grew up with screens don't even see the harms that giving kids phones at such a young age.

Hope you and your family are well, Lila! Thank you for sharing that when babies' hearts are beating in the first trimester, babies are about the size of a coffee bean, and at seven weeks, is when the heart can be detected. I like the SevenWeeksCoffee "Heartbeat club" name! Hoping more politicians focus on the "heartbeat". I think it would help bring to mind innocent child's life in the womb. When Mother Mary was pregnant with Jesus, she went on an about eighty mile joyous journey to visit her cousin Saint Elizabeth (patron saint of expectant mothers and pregnant women) in her hour of need, Elizabeth said referencing her tiny child in her womb John the Baptist who was conceived when she was in old age: Luke 1:41-44 When Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting, the infant leaped in her womb, and Elizabeth, filled with the Holy Spirit, cried out in a loud voice and said, “Most blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb. And how does this happen to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?
