Correct. The body of a stripper is only valued as an object of a man’s lust. And a lot of the times, it’s been “enhanced” and isn’t natural. And no matter how beautiful or healthy she may be, we all get old eventually.
Is working out and eating at a caloric deficit or to maintain your body fat percentage serving the world? Personally, I think that taking an interest in your health & physical fitness is a wonderful thing. God gave me this body...I'm going to take care of it the best I can. I reason that it would be unholy to abuse it by being fat, taking drugs, being promiscuous, not sleeping, etc... or are you referring to how inarticulate she is & her ugly pants?
I agree. We cannot serve two masters. I think that she should have used a little bit more prudence in how she framed her statement. The scripture warns us not be jesters/crude jokers. However, there is absolutetely nothing wrong with being in shape and having your body fit. But it most be covered in modesty.
@@dnycebushton5008 💯 Eating healthy & exercising is one of the most respectful things we can do for God. We're honoring the temple he gave us. As long as it's by healthy means & with a healthy mindset. Include the Lord in your meal prepping & workouts. 🙏🏽
That’s Lexi she been a hott mess ! She is a “Christian “ comedian and does skits and had a talk show at one point ! She also was the official over Carlton Pearson funeral! She was married her husband died years ago ! She use to be fat she lost a lot of weight and now she is obsessive about her figure 🤦🏿♀️
I think one of the most concerning thing that most people miss around the conversation of beauty standards as described by the lady having a "stripper" body seems to equate all women with a beautiful body to only be strippers. It reminds me of the picture that went viral of the girl who worked at Costco and she looked very beautiful and everyone started bombarding her with messages like she should get on OnlyFans so she can make a lot of money, or she shouldn't be working there for her beauty. All of a sudden beauty has become a commodity to be exploited and for someone who says they want a mind of Christ they couldn't be far from how Christ would think through something like this.
I said the same thing regarding shock value. It’s the way of these new age Christians who would rather conform to the world instead of the word. Let me hush! 🤭
Her body is her idol! She needs the fire of the Holy Ghost in her life and she’ll get some Godly character. Let's pray for her. She just wants our attention. Let's give it to her in prayer. God Bless you Saints richly.
…its not the fire of the Holy Spirit she need (Matt 3:11-12) This a fire of judgement stated in the 12th for those who don’t obey baptism… No doubt we need the Holy Spirit, remember that he speaks through the word…. Thats is how we renew our minds by the word…..
She has embraced the doctrine of devils and another gospel. Whenever you do that, you open the door to the enemy. The doctrine that she embraced doesn't mention repentance, getting your heart right, living holy, etc.
…lets not be so quick to assume those who will be in the LOF… Remember how Paul called them in 1 Cor 1:2… He called them sanctified and saints… But in Chapter 3 he addresses there carnal mentality…… To those that understand that need of a savior and puts there trust in the gospel of Jesus (death, burial and resurrection 1 Cor 15:1-4) They now need to LEARN how to renew there mind (Rom 12:1-2) Many of us are still learning how to do that today…..
@@damienmercer4731 What kind of a CHRISTIAN will say, "I want the mind of Christ and the body of a Whore? Question; WHY DOES SHE WANT THE BODY OF A WHORE? Answer that yourself.
Yea I thought it was just me. This was nothing to be said. People were saying well she’s a comedian so it’s meant to be a joke. I wouldn’t want my daughter to get this advice. I want her to understand modesty. Nothing wrong with working out but beauty does fade.
Exactly! She’s not clever at all, very corny actually. I could think of so many other ways that she could have made a joke about being a Christian but still having a “fit” body. If she read her Bible then she would know that the Virtuous Woman was in shape. She could have said “I want the heart of Christ and arms like the Virtuous Woman”.
I was raised in a home where my mom and grandmother and they’re Christians and they believe in “when you go outside and look good and decent you represent me (not god but your parent, etc) like get pampered up and look “attractive” they believe in “LOOKS ARE EVERYTHING” and my mom always think I have low self esteem because I don’t dress right like have my hair and nails and dressed pampered but I didn’t believe it because i believe God is everything and I want to represent God and not people even my own mother. I truly want to dress modestly to Please God and not the world and it’s society. We are called to be different. I’m thankful to God that he led me to stop wearing weaves, jewelry, I’m not into getting my nails done wearing makeup and I thank God for that. I want to give up wearing pants and wear head covering and obey God only even if it means my mom or grandmother don’t like it.
Wdym? Is she going around killing or persecuting pastors? Is she married to a weak true believer and asked him to worship her false god? Lascivious she may be, but calling her jezebel is a bit much
i dont know this woman but she comes across as very ignorant and focused on the wrong things... she clearly does NOT have the mind of Christ. and the person interviewing her is even worst, hes laughing at her comments instead of correcting her.
The desire in this area should be to be healthy. Especially as you're getting older. Be beautiful, but don't elicit lust or envy. How is anybody going to know, besides your husband, what your body looks like unless your clothing is revealing and sensual. Modesty is best at every age. As we grow older we should grow in grace, we should mature. At 50 or 60 not trying to be 20, and look good to everybody. That just arrests people in immaturity. When we are so focused on the past it keeps us from fully embracing what God wants us to see and do now. The world will try to make you feel like nothing as a woman getting older, but there is great value in you. That value does not have to be sexual, and that type of attention is not love. As a older woman people need to hear how you overcame. That is of great value. That is precious.
Thank you for making these videos. This REALLY needs to be talked about more. This is a demonic "trend" of people claiming to be godly women, but they're Not ! They're straight Jezebel spirits ! Carnal minded. SAD. That's why we must try the spirits to see if they are of GOD b/c not every spirit is even if they "claim" to be. We will know them by their fruits ! 🤞🏽🙏🏽❤️
A lot of women don’t want to dress modesty, yet want godly men, just go on upward and you will see, that’s why they don’t like reading Timothy and Titus!!!
We need to pray for her. She's embraced the different gospel. She's playing with fire! I initially thought that she was straddling the fence. It's apparent she knows what she's doing. She also needs to be careful about her words. The younger generation tend to embrace musical artists and want to mimic their lifestyles whether godly or ungodly. I pray for and love everyone!
Lexi is super sarcastic and she is also a comedian. I think that sometimes she takes what is serious as jesting. So is hard to tell what her convictions truly are. But in terms of modesty, I think that she knows better and could do better. I pray for the Lord to restore her and grow her in every area where she needs to grow for his glory.
True beauty is NOT outward but inward. All of us are growing old. I was a body builder in my youth, now in my latter 70s I don't look like that anymore. If a woman has to show off her assets to me She WILL NEVER be with me.
She had a song “Conversations (Hold On)” that was very encouraging to me as a young disciple of Christ. It was about staying pure until marriage. And her song “Abide” is so powerful. Both songs are in my playlist. I’m so disappointed in her and all I did was read your video’s title.
I completely agree with you. For a woman of God, her wording and perhaps her perspective were not godly at all. It comes off as her saying that she wants to be holy but also be someone that men lust after.
Thank you for reminding us ladies not to get caught up in what the world thinks a woman should be. Romans 12:1-2 - I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
So much for living your life as what’s written in.. 1 Peter 3:4 4 You should clothe yourselves instead with the beauty that comes from within, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is so precious to God.
Titus 2:3-5 the older women likewise, that they be reverent in behavior, not slanderers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things- 4 that they admonish the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, 5 to be discreet, chaste, homemakers, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be blasphemed. NKJV
Lexi is famous, wealthy and in shape. For her to not be married shows me that God DEFINITELY doesn't need my help. I've been celibate for 10+ years. After seeing this interview, I'm DEFINITELY not compromising my standards.❤🎉
Life and death is in the power of the tongue, she needs to understand and be careful of her words they’re powerful, you maybe comical but words can and will manifest good and evil
Sad. That is not the way that a woman of God should be carrying herself. I pray that she has a change of heart about this matter. I will be praying for her. Jesus loves her.
God bless you brother Corey🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽Her aim first and foremost is to have a stripper body. That’s all she spoke of. And it comes across like a comedy act because that man interviewing her could not stop laughing. And it was not funny!!!!!!!!! She is without a doubt sending the wrong message to other women who are most likely much much younger than her. She has no shame and that’s sad in and of itself. Thank you for backing up what you speak with the Word of God!!!
Brother, I love everything you are doing on this channel! You are making me strive to study the Word more to fully understand it in the manner you seem to. It’s extremely refreshing to see you keep things honest and sneak a little humor in there at times as well 😂 Keep doing the Lord’s Work!
Smh Lexi I love you but I’m gonna continue to keep praying for you 🙏🏾 that comment was wild please choose your words carefully. I love you sis GOD Bless you ❤
These people are still so in love with the world. They love it. I Timothy 2:9-10 NKJV [9] in like manner also, that the women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with propriety and moderation, not with braided hair or gold or pearls or costly clothing, [10] but with what is proper for women who profess godliness-with good works. A Godly woman should aspire to this not attempting to achieve a body that makes men want to have sex with them for money and then send them away.
She did an interview about her husband's death & some of the things that came out of her mouth about God was very ridiculous! Her ignorant mouth is what got her show canceled 😤
I didn't finish watching her interview on Dear Future Wifey, so I didn't know she said all this. But I think she is still grieving the loss of her 1st husband and regretting the marriage to the 2nd. I think she's still mentally depressed and super lonely.
Lexi used to have a show on the Word Network called The Lexi Show. She did the infamous interview with Tone'(aka B Slade), and Bishop Weeks after his issues with Juanita Bynum, then with his new wife. And she is a gospel singer and actress. She does seem more wokeish as the years rolled by. But I think this may have been a horrible attempt to explain Christian women's frustration with Christian men who say they want a godly woman, but they salivate over Halle Berry or hug Ariana Grande too tightly. That's what I heard. But just tossing that out of her mouth like that is irresponsible. But again, I think she's still hurting.
This is Lexi, she’s from my hometown Detroit. Not only is she a gospel singer, but she’s a comedian. She does skits… she very funny too me especially when she does this character “ Mother Walker”…. If you knew her, she would understand😀
I was wondering when I was going to come across someone that actually understood that it was a joke. Apparently, people are forgetting how important it is to keep ourselves in good shape. She chronicles her weight loss journey by showing how she was exercising and juicing. Poor choice of words, probably. Funny? Yes. But folks missed the point.
Thank you! I saw this and laughed from a healthy place. She said it in an "unholy" way, but she basically said she wants to be thick and fit (that's what comes to mind when people think stripper). She wants to look tempting. And as we've learned from other social media accounts (a thick teacher comes to mind) you can be curvy and dressed like a nun and people will still complain that you're not "modest enough"
My question would be, how can you have the mind of Christ and desire the things of this world? But if we are honest, she’s not saying anything different from what most men actually want. As a Christian woman who genuinely has traditional values and isn’t willing to compromise, I won’t wear the 304 uniform or face paint and because of that I got left on the sidelines…more like locker room. When you ask men what their ideal woman is, they will describe a woman who looks like a 304 but has the values of a godly woman. When they find out they can only have one or the other they almost always choose the 304 in hopes of “leading” her to be a godly woman because they know there is no way to make a godly woman stoop to dressing like a 304.
@@touchofgrace3217 Are you referring to the men who were warned by Jared and Enoch not to go down? They were not called the men of Israel and they weren't Godly because their lust took over. You do know they were banned from coming back up and, therefore suffered from their sin and went to hell. Otherwise, what mountain and scripture?
Furthermore, if anyone states they want worldly anything, it's not integrity but it's very spiritual and demonic. Nothing in the Bible supports an "integrity issue." They were either of God or... the other spirit. Christ speaks about lukewarmness and how it's detestable to Him (Rev 3:15-16).
@@ShaeNik no, that is not what I was talking about. Goodness, the whole Old Testament is a repetitious pattern of Israelites turning from God and then back again when they were punished. Rejecting God means also rejecting His ways. Spiritual infidelity leads to sexual immorality. Jerusalem is located on a mountain. The gentiles inhabited the plains below so naturally that is where they traveled. I suppose Numbers 25 would be a good place for you to start but ideally check out the OT as a whole.
I’m sorry at first glance I thought it was Corey interviewing her 😂it must be the bald head make sure he’s not your brother 😂I’m kidding all ❤God Bless you
Her husband passed away he was the love of her life. I don't know why she's saying all this. She's funny but this went too far and it's actually not funny. A lot of people have to stop calling themselves Christians and not being and presenting as a Christian.
Ok so from reading the comments this person is a “Christian” comedy with Kev Onstage😐 that says all I need to know. Kev is lukewarm and carnal so that makes sense that he would hire her. Kev always find a way to put one toe across the line. I saw one of his recent videos where he played the beginning of a Nas song that blurted out “FU@K Jay Z” and the curse word was not bleeped out. I was so offended but all the other Christians that watch his channel taught it was sooooo funny🤦🏽♀️ I personally love true Christian comedy but we can’t seem to get it right. Our white brothers and sisters do it best, I enjoy Jon Crist and Trey Kennedy.
Here’s a perfect example of why the concept of a “Christian Comedian” is an oxymoron. Nothing about this was humorous or entertaining. Lexi sounds pathetic at this point.
Used to be into Lexi back in the early youtube days but i matured and she didnt. Plus i didnt like the jokes about the Holy Spirit in her skits. I've learned not to take her too seriously
One of the problem of the church, believers is desiring the things of the world. Believers low-key wanting to be like the world, but saying with their lips that they are not. Well, all of these things are not new, it's all in the bible.
