I was definitely not expecting daniel but I ain't complainin

Feel like his dancing style has changed a bit now that he’s a soloist. In the group (may be because he was the center) his moves had to be really big, exaggerated, strong & popping moves. But now as a soloist he can dance with his own style; more relaxed & laidback (making everything look easy), but still maintain those beautiful lines, details, smooth/clean but precise moves. Also, the control that he has when he dances (as well as other techniques) is more visible in his recent solo works, like “Who U Are”. I’m still not over that dance practice; amazing control.

Can't deny that his dancing line is beautiful and always pleasing to watch ^^

I am really zero about dancing but thank you so much for analysing my favourite idol Kang Daniel. Its always satisfying to watch him dance.

He seemed to be crazy popular in Wanna One and I only listened to his recent songs. Now I understand more, why he was everyones bias. He is a born performer.

He have great stage presence. I love his dance performance compare to other idol because his moves always make the dance look easy and smooth and he didn't exaggerate his facial expression which make one look cringe sometimes. It's always satisfying to see him dance

Daniel does have great coordination and control. His long limbs make those precise angles look so good. I hope he does a lyrical style dance in the future like you suggested.

Thank u, as an outsider, the first time watching Daniel's stage, i was very impressed at the way he dances. His advantage is body proportion, his long leg and arm, it makes his movement more beautiful. It attracts me a lot, like my eyes always follow him even he is in the group or not. Thanks for analysis, all ppl should take a look at Daniel's stage before judgement or recommend other artists at his video.

Thank you for this. It's interesting that you see him the opposite from what I see him. I always thought his movements are so light it looks like he doesn't put any effort when he dances, especially in What Are You Up To and 2U. It was really unexpected to see him described as a strength-centered dancer.

Thank you for the review. I hope you not only watch the fancam, but also the video performance. How he looks at the camera that is shining on him is an important part of getting attention in Dancing. He used her extraordinary gaze. How he walked in the intro part of the song "light", how he swayed his body parts while dancing "who u are". Apart from his excellent control, his facial is the one that makes his movements interesting for me

Maybe it is that tremendous stage presence or his musicality, but every time I see that Who U Are dance practice I am practically in a trance. How Daniel moves with the music is insane.

Kang Daniel so talented 😍

Kang Daniel is my FAVOURITE dancer because of his amazing musicality. To me, you are only a dancer if you can freestyle and there are few who can freestyle as well as him. You can literally play any song and he can dance to it on the spot. I saw it for myself and he has demonstrated it on TV so many times. E.g. masked singer. He’s a much more versatile dancer than you give him credit for.

i feel daniel has always had a good time with hip hop and it's good to see him put those elements in his modern music ( post pd101 era ) and has worked on flows and loosening up stiff places ! he has evolved as a dancer and has gotten so much better as a performer. he's one of the more underrated soloists at the moment but i know he'll hit his second commercial breakthrough as a solo artist ( considering he was black listed on some certain shows )

i love daniel and Im so glad you did him. I agree with you that even if he is not as skilled at being a technical dancer, just his overall stage presence and performance makes him such a good idol and an idol you can't stop watching. And ofc he still can hone and improve his skills to become an even better dancer :)

Oh wow I didn't expect you to do Daniel what a pleasant surprise! Honestly thought you'd do Ong Seongwoo or Park Woojin instead if you ever did one from produce s2 lol.

If you look exclusively at his solo work post-Wanna One do you still categorize him as a strength-centered dancer? I can see it for his Wanna One dancing but I have a hard time seeing it for most of his solo choreos, except for maybe for Who U Are but that's 1 out of 10 choreos. In the rest he looks like he does light movements to me.

Could you do either Ten or Taeyong? Either is fine but I would really like to see Ten.

Please consider doing Rocky from Astro, Yoo Taeyang from SF9 and also Ten from NCT/WayV. I swear they're amazing🥺🙏

He’s so cool and a great performer.

Thank you for taking the time to seriously review Daniel's dancing skills because in general he is really underrated internationally as a dancer and as a soloist. I think that some of the performances you drew from are not 100% representative of his style, particularly now that he has been a soloist for a little over a year. I recommend taking a look at his Who U Are dance practice which has been reviewed favorably by other dancers. For his contemporary dance skills you can check out his "Beautiful" solo during the One The World concerts from his Wanna One days.

Great dance analysis. Kindly create an analysing as well when Enhypen debuts. Specially Enhypen Ni-ki who was starting to dance at the age of 5. This kid dancer is really amazing. He has so many pre debut dances. And, everything was really good and powerful. Even his dancing to feminine songs were so graceful.

i always thought daniel is a really good dancer when he was in wannaone and he's confident about his ability too. but people doesnt really recognized the talent in him + theres many good dancers in wannaone. despite him being an all rounder, people just know him because he's a center of the nation boy group and not his talent. anyways, thank you for this! also pls check out daniel's album bcs he release bop only i guarantee

Kang Daniel's stage presence is no joke. I've been a kpop fan since 2010 and I've seen lots of kpop idols and esp. stanning Shinee. I got to know KD with Produce 101, was watching this because I support NuEst. KD is not really on my list when you talk about a great dancer, but again his stage presence is what made me pay attention to him. His aura on stage is just superior which made him succeed as a soloist.
