ON THE SCENE is a youtube channel dedicated mainly for in-depth dance analysis for any Kpop group, its individual member or soloists in the said industry. Its main purpose is to help non-dancers, beginners or anyone who's interested or is learning Kpop choreographies to learn what goes beyond dancing techniques and its key points.

Thanks for the video and the analysis, I really enjoyed your commentary and the side by side comparisons. I am always partial to San no matter what he is doing but I found Yunho's dancing to be more precise and clean for me. I am not a dancer just a watcher of hot dancers. Thanks again.

Just coming back here to say this analysis was posted 3 years ago and Taemin somehow managed to improve his skills even MORE. He was already unbeatable at age what? 27? now he's 30 and I'm literally mindblown how he's even better now
1:17 at this very specific part, for me chaewon did the best. Chaeyeon's leg looks awkward, and her upper body is too.. bent?? (Idk how to say it) chaewon has better posture imo
Tbh not sure what I think about the weaknesses. I don't find her footwork is anything less a full score _but then again_ I'm not a dancer so perhaps my perception isn't developed enough to see it or maybe it's just my taste. I feel like, perhaps just personally to me, there is a range of how pronounced moves can be, and she's within the range that to my brain registers as "very precise" and "spot on" and "well placed" and "well pronounced" but just not on the extreme end of "well pronounced" if that makes sense. But as for my personal preference I love her dancing through and through. I'll be looking at her footwork more from now on. Also, never really payed attention to the torso movements except just that as with every single part of her body her torso too is well placed and moves with a certain groove and swagger. But never paid attention to the mobility so to say. The way she did the torso movements you showed as examples was still charismatic and enchanting to me. I really want to see her and Jimin dance together on a dance that has a great versatility in the dynamics and has lots of flowy moves combined with locking. Like a Taemin type of choreo or 28 reasons type of choreo or that sort of thing but add more hiphop. Now I really want to see the same analysis for Jimin!
Apparently I saw this two years ago, but I have no recollection. I am so happy U-kwon is number one, and I think it is extremely deserved. He is the most expressive member of block B, and it shows in every dance in every relay in every performance in everything. I think this is an awesome list.
The one thing I'll disagree with in your rating is the facials being an 8. For me, 10 is not even high enough. I think his facials is one of the standout aspects of his dancing. From intensity to joy to sensuality, he is just so good at expressing himself through his facials. And I love that he mouths the words sometimes. His enjoyment of dancing is so complete that it is a treat to watch.
Taemin is never being outdone in dance. He is so far beyond every other idol and those who disagree are butthurt and biased. He is a one in a billion kind of talent 🤷♀
