This dude was amazing for a solid decade, won a Super Bowl and judging him based off his mental capacity is unfair since we know the man likely has CTE
Ego & Pride A Mf…some of us are mature minded enough to say enough is enough. I believe he fell out of love with the game after winning a championship the hunger & desire for the game wasn’t 100%
Phenomenal job telling his story. As a lifetime steelers fan, I always wanted a one of a kind Steelers receiver, and they gave us Hines Ward. But Antonio Brown is a generational talent. I appreciate the excitement and electricity he brought to Pittsburgh and helping Bruce win a ring.
He put together arguably the greatest 5 year stretch in NFL history for a wideout. I think AB at his peak is right up there with Moss, Rice, Megatron and T.O. in terms of dominance. He was a 5'10 guy with perfect route movements, phenomenal hands, and ALWAYS caught the ball in bounds. I think AB could've gone down as the greatest WR of all time had he not gone off the deep end. I still think he gets into the HOF years down the road.
His story with the entire college process is actually very motivating and inspirational. I had my own problems in college and while I never had to do this, it’s not easy to pack up and go back home or go somewhere else. Something like that would be beyond stressful. And then to still be motivated to try another school, with no help, is not something I could have done.
He was one of a handful of receivers in NFL history that were uncoverable even with safety help. His short area quickness, reaction time, foot speed and eye/hand are all off the charts. Twitchy af but straightens his path to get angles. Elite of the elite for 5-6 years. HOF imo.
AB was sooooo good. It’s unfortunate that he ended his career the way he did. I hope he gets the help He needs mentally. Maybe he was very widely understood but I think being under the spotlight really hurt him. They’ll let you be you when things go well, but they’ll destroy when things don’t.
No matter what AB 84 is a all time receiver aside the off field stuff which isnt our businesses to deal with im just evaluating the player and he definitely is a top 10 all time wr
The fact these Steelers couldn’t win a Super Bowl with Big Ben. Antonio Brown, and Levion Bell is insane!!!!! Watching those years was a blessing and a pain
💥💥Well I've been watching the NFL football since 1990 and I honestly say I've seen a lot of great receivers and Antonio Brown is definitely one of them. He is one of the most talented most unguardable receivers I've ever seen in my life.
Burfict didn't even hit him in the head you all need to go watch the play again. His personality is just that. If you're not a fan you're entitled to your opinion personally I find him entertaining. Tremendous player and nobody can deny that!
He was good until he ruined his own career by making terrible decisions and making bad choices. He won’t be a Hall of Famer because of his on and off the field problems. He didn’t get along with his teammates or his coaches. He was his own worst nightmare. He was problematic. He was a maniac.
Hes a first ballot hall of famer its not a question for what he did on the feild which is the only thing that should count, hes arguably top 5 wrs all time
The Steelers starting WRs in 2011 were Mike Wallace and Hines Ward. It's crazy that AB got so many yards being the team's #3 WR. Ward only had 381 receiving yards the entire season and didn't even average 10 yards per catch.
His youth life also could be a reason for his behavior. Growing up like that ain’t easy it takes a life long toll while also teaching you unhealthy mental n emotional habits. Not making excuses for the man just looking at his side of the hourglass
He’s the greatest wr in nfl history. I’m a pats fan so I’m being unbiased. I understand he has horrible off the field decision making but his football ability is god like. He’s top 10 in receiving yards and missed a ton of games. If you do the math he could easily have 25k receiving yards. Yes he’s that good.
It's crazy that people will sit here and say he's stupid or crazy because he didn't want to be treated like property or controlled by the NFL system... smh
You didnt mention the hit that nearly took his life and caused instant CTE, which is when his erratic behavior started. Prior to that, he was flamboyant and fun. He will never be stable again, all because of one hit.
Majority of the clowns Talking trash about AB never got a Touchdown in their lives . AB The Greatest WR of this Generation , he makes it look too easy with very small effort , Legend 👏
Hes a 1st ballot HoFer but hes insane off the field so he'll never make it in. Id put him up there with like Julio Jones as a talent. He had one of the best stretches by a WR ever
He was cursed talent. I would venture to say that he was better than TO, Moss and Jerry Rice (except stats). But talent, he was amazing. He was a tortured soul. Blessed as an athlete, but demons live on his shoulders, rent free. He is HOF material, but the noise his antics make, it’ll drown out all his accomplishments. Such a waste of incredible talent
