Can you do something on his amateur career and when he started to show his potential? To many English speakers, he’s just come out of nowhere - we don’t know much about his early years.

Watching this in 2024, Tadej just won the Giro and has aspirations of winning the Le Tour this year as well. Can't wait to see what happens.

His 2022 season has just begun and look at his Palmares. He's an amazing rider. He could truly dominate for quite some time. (Roglic is making the best of the time he has left, and Remco is clearly not going to compete with him in Grand Tours.) His rise from the junior ranks is well documented in at least 4 or 5 TV reports & shows I saw several years back (before his Vuelta breakthrough) on RU-vid. Most of them are in Slovenian and a few other languages (I remember one from a neighbouring country), but I honestly cannot remember the names. Just look him up. He's always been heading towards GC contender status, either winning races or placing highly in them. I saw multiple reports and features on his Ljbubljana team, and you could see he was already high calibre. I'm hearing all sorts of things from people in the sport about his UAE team management (their history), as well as the behind-the-scenes 'preparation' on his training camps/centres, but I can't comment -- I just don't know what's going on. But I hope he's clean. All I see are his superior performances so far this season. Sure, he's going to be put under more and more scrutiny; spotlight as he continues to rise. We all know that.

The first time he appeared on my radar was burning up the Tour of Poland.
