Nepal was strong just after unifiction . probably the biggest mistake was " jos ma aayera hos haraunu " . Maintaining a very good relation with bordering empires would have been a better choice Instead of engaging in war with EIC .

There was no such nation as Greater Nepal. This is a political acronym to an imagined nation by some politicians for their political gains. Now a days there is too much of talk in Nepal about Greater Nepal claiming some regions of India. This is done by some politicians. But do these politicians explain what will they do with the population of those claimed regions? Have they taken concent of the population living in those claimed regions? Are the people of those claimed ready and agree to give up their Indian citizenship and take Nepali citizenship? Greater Nepal is a dream sold by some politicians to innocent people for political gains. This dream will never come true. It's better for the people of Nepal to never believe in such dreams. Such dreams will only fill their mind with hatred towards the neighboring countries and its people.
