@@TEAMSWARTZ The problem is all those stupid "Covid Promotions" have screwed alot of capable NCO's out of NCOES spots because the ones who got promoted take priority. So basically you can't get promoted because you don't have the NCOES but you can't get the NCOES because you have not been promoted...Its completely ridiculous!

Speaking of promotion, there is a lot of the Good Ole Boy System (favoritisms) in the National Guard because their promotion is based on slots. What is your take on the Good Ole Boy System and does it still happen?

That’s pretty much gone for many years due to the new way of promoting people. The new system in place is senior leaders from around the state come together, have a discussion and create a baseline for the promotion point system. Then three random leaders review a potential soldiers promotion packet and evaluate their packets against the agreed baseline they discussed. They all have to evaluate you within a point of each other. If one person decides they really like you and evaluates you higher by more than a point, that evaluation is dropped and another leader reviews your packet until they are within the one point or margin. Hopefully that makes sense and that’s how the promotion boards are run No a days, which in theory is suppose to stop the good ole boys system… Thank you so very much for watching this video and I hope you stay blessed! 🇺🇸🙏🏼 Thank for your service and I appreciate what you’ve done for us all🙏🏼🇺🇸

Hello, I have a request for you. Can you make a video about getting citizenship through the armed forces and how the process would go? I'm a green card holder, and I'm going to fort Jackson after six days. I heard you could get neutralized citizenship between 6 months - 1 year after enlisting. It would be a great video and informative. Thanks for all those videos you made. They're very helpful

Hey, I went thru that process last year. Make sure that you have all your paperwork ready before going to BCT, and ask in your company about the Naturalization process. Once that you finish BCT, make sure to keep track of your process and make a change of address if needed to wait your interview in your AIT location. If you keep track of everything and keep checking every time, you can get it done in less than 5 months. Every case is different and the wait time for fingerprints and interviews is different in every state. Good luck on your journey!!

AS an AGR and prior active duty. E1-5 I see it just given away, most e4’s shouldn’t be e4’s let alone promote to 5. E6 yes then it becomes more of a slot system with a touch of good ol boy system. But yes most NG come to “larp” or are highly disappointed in the “cram 10lbs of bs in a 5lb bag schedule and they get out. So it’s not hard to climb rank 2-3% extra effort and you’ll set yourself as a shining star. Lol.

I was informed that you could go online and find National Guard orders on your own? How does that work and how would you get paid from that if you have a civilian job?
