Gambling was my vice as well. I played in lots of poker tournaments, was most certainly not living a sober life, bet on sports, etc., but God was calling me and I am happy to be in the process of becoming Catholic right now. This video resonated with me so much. God bless you Brother Michaelangelo and respect to you for courageously answering the call to enter the religious life.
Wow, Thank you Brother Michaelangelo! 29 years ago in the middle of an all consuming depression brought on by an addiction to drugs and alcohol I got on my knees and had that same experience that you described. I wasn't even sure that God was real but when I asked for help I felt a tremendous PEACE wash over me. God is listening and he answers the prayers of the humble! Thanks for sharing!!
Father!! I must say this, I have been so troubled lately because of this strong temptation that I can't stop, but whenever, ever I listen to you ,am filled with peace! Please pray for me, because I don't know how to stop, LOVE YOU GUYS SO MUCH, God bless you always and always
Its interesting how the eyes of the friars that have appeared in these videos they all reflect some kind of peace or wisdom I cant really tel what it is but its there. God bless you brothers!
Psychodelix i live near and hang out with some of the friars in these videos, and I can tell you that they’re 1,000,000% genuine, authentically in love with Christ!
Thank you brothers for sharing how the Lord touched your heart , and as such you are bringing others to the knowledge of the Fathers riches In love and abounding grace , and to all who believe confidence . Galatians 6:8 For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. Galatians 2:21, KJV: "I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain."
What a beautiful testimony, thank you for sharing. I have family members that struggle with a gambling addiction and this gives me hope for them. God Bless
There's a ' rock bottom ' but also an ' empty ceiling ' .... Yooo!!! Soooo good. Thank you for this. Thank you for sharing your story Brother Michaelangelo.

I am looking to becoming Catholic, I am currently a Presbyterian, but I am not sure. Any recommended articles to read? Bible verses to back up major Catholic views?
KorwegianGirl if you’d be okay with a book suggestion, a great place to start is the book, Rome Sweet Home by Scott And Kimberly Hahn. It’s their conversion story to Catholicism which also helps a lot with catholic teachings. Another book that would help is Why Were Catholic by Trent Horn. Hope it helps and I really excited to see you start this journey. God bless you!

John chapter 6 discourse on the Eucharist and the Life of Christ by Fulton Sheen helped me in developing my Catholic Faith. Both are short ,compact but have hidden depth.
Am in the process of converting to Catholicism from Baptist right now, and these helped me immensely. Jesus gives the apostles the Holy Spirit and tells them, "If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven them; if you retain the sins of any, they are retained." (John 20:23, NKJV). Here Jesus gives the apostles and their successors the authority to forgive sin (obviously through Christ), giving us the sacrament of reconciliation/confession. Simon Peter answered and said, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” Jesus answered and said to him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven. And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it. And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven. (Matthew 16:16-19, NKJV) Also, check out the youtube channel Catholic Answers and listen to some of Fr. Ripperger's talks (he's an exorcist) on the youtube channel SensusFidelium. May God bless you on your journey!
What a beautiful testimony brother Michael. I'd like to ask you a couple of questions Did your parents raise you Catholic? And did you have that seed sown in your heart/mind when growing up?
Ohh my GOD...!!! God bless you Frier Michael Angelo for sharing your story. Thank you so much for dedicating your life to God. God bless you both 🙏🙏😇👼♥️♥️ Poco a Poco vamos a llegar a nuestro destination
i wish you guy went to my church. the people at my church look so joyless. i enjoy being catholic. the people at my church look like they are being tormented by their religion. you can just feel the misery on them...
I play ball too brotha let's ball up! Love your testimony, inspired me to go spend some time after work with our Lord in the Blessed sacrament. God bless you and keep spreading that good news!
Excellent video fellas. So much in common. I have sought every possible way to find happiness, including dreams of becoming a poker pro, in the past. Yet, today, I have been on my journey towards Christ for not too long, and already so much has changed. I have experienced the grace you talk about, the peace, and the great hope of things our Father may do in my life.
i chanced upon this video looking for Biblical answers whether or not gambling is a sin. though this video is not the right one for my question, i just had to say that listening to both of them felt like these two dudes/brothers in Christ are two of my good friends who i have not met yet (or never will, more appropriately). when one speaks, the other is attentive and does not interrupt. courteous and polite. i cant sense any vanity or arrogance in them. only good vibes. very cool. thanks for sharing guys. GOD bless everyone! ; )
Extremely useful testimonial and catechesis Brother and Father. May GOD continue to guide and take care of you "Little Brother and Father". Thank you both. GOD Bless You. Extremadamente útiles testimonio y catequesis Brother and Father.ni Que DIOS siga guiando y cuidando de ustedes "Hermanito y Padre. Gracias a ambos.

My question is for Father Mike, I am 20 years old and recently joined the church my mom has been going to, we are United Baptist. My question is what is the difference between Christening and Baptism? I grew up believing that you are saved and Baptized one to are of age (once you have sinned and repented) Just an edit: I have always been curious in the Catholic Church although I do love my home church, for I believe it does not matter what name (denomination) is above the door but it's what is truly in your heart that will get you to heaven, Love you all and God Bless!
Fr Mark-Mary- I have a prayer request - I am struggling with chronic pain for 9 years, I feel worthless and losing hope (have tried most medical treatments), I don't know what God wants to do with my life when I can't do very much. My actual name is Michael K. - Thanks and God bless you and the Friars :).
Mr. Jamie Tennyson, who almost won a bet, but who discovered somewhat belatedly that gambling can be a most unproductive pursuit, even with loaded dice, marked cards, or, as in his case, some severed vocal cords. For somewhere beyond him, a wheel was turned, and his number came up black thirteen. If you don't believe it, ask the croupier, the very special one who handles roulette - in The Twilight Zone...
Is it a coincidence that mama's head is just above his in this interview ?.................Or is it a sign that She was guiding him back to her Son the whole time ?...............I know ,.....do you ?
True friends are a treasure... ..most people mistake them for acquaintances with similar interests. Sadly.. most people push away the true friends because they are the ones that are not afraid tell you to get your act together because they keep it 100. /:) The fakes keep you in your sin.
If i was his ex gf, i would've been proud of him for choosing this kind of life😊 But he was right, the most beautiful sight is Jesus in Crucifix (or a plain crucifix) and Jesus at the monstrance of the holy tabernacle. Be joyful, God is always with you🙏
Chandra Allen I am amazed at how comfortable I feel as a result of their vibe. I could walk right in there and feel at home. I am so surprised at that, I laugh as I think it.
my best friend joined the Sisters of the Renewal ; they are equally amazing! You can google the Franciscan Sisters of the Renewal CFR for their webpage,
