I like to tell people that I am nervous if I am nervous, just to get it out of the way. It makes me feel like I am owning it, and it kind of breaks the ice with the other person, and then I calm down.

@@perrycoffey5410 I don't like it when people tell me to calm down either. It helps me feel better though when I tell people that I am nervous, if I am actually nervous. I actually tend to get along with males more than females in general. I don't know if it's because of my autism. I HAVE had females in the workplace that I got along with, but the ones that I get along with tend to be tomboys. Even though there are females out there who are straightforward with what they are thinking, I find that guys are generally more straightforward and tend not pretend that everything is okay (with passive-aggressiveness). I like it when somebody just tells me that they have a problem with me, we solve the problem, and then it's done. Otherwise I find it to be emotionally draining.

One of the reasons, probably the main one, I started following Julian's advice is his look and the way you can notice he can't give a fuck about what he wears and what he looks like. No appearance, and that's strong for me. Thank you Julien, I learned a lot from you

I'm charasmatic and cop a lot of flak for it. I'm not confident with conflict as I never want to hurt anyone or act aggressive, but I'm learning that it's neccessary. This is one of my biggest challenges as someone who grew up with violence and not only hasn't had a role model for conflict and what is acceptable etc, and doesn't want to repeat the cycle of anger. I feel instant shame if I'm ever outwardly angry, but keeping it all in is impossible forever and ultimatley not fair on me or anyone else

I am in my early 40's and I always have this feeling that everyone else has life under control and knows more than me & is more successful. As if I feel like I mentally am still a kid at heart and learning. Been watching your videos a lot lately and they are helping me feel more like "I got this, nobody is better than me. I'm just doing the self sabotage thing". Keep it up. Love the vids and encouragement. Its helped me change my negative thoughts to more positive thoughts. I feel less anxiety and depression lately. Changing my mindset and its helping. A+

Great comment. I'm your age and have arrived at this clear belief, which is capital T true for me, that 99% of people's paradigms for long term relationships and marriage are absolutely INSANE. Nothing but appreciation for the red pill podcasts that deal with the darker side of things (check out Owens brief appearance of FnF). However since rediscovering Julien and Owens content recently, like you I feel encouraged and enthusiastic - and can already see results, which are getting better every day. I still request a full 2-3 hour podcast with Owen Julien Myron & Rollo - that would be next level game changing stuff!

Felt like my mindset really hasn't changed in this regard since 17. insecure. low self-esteem. shy away from large crowds of eyes. always trying to look cool. i worked in a pharmacy for over 10 years. busy retail pharmacy with sometimes 20 customers in line. i had to yell out stuff, in front of all of them "WHO IS HERE FOR VACCINES STEP OVER HERE?" forcing myself to do it it. I hated it. Even when it's something neutral and you're following protocol and no one will really judge you for saying something loud like that I still hated it. Doing something improvised in front of a crowd of strangers is even harder. I wouldn't have as much trouble doing things in front of this crowd because they are all there for the same reason. The hard part is doing it in real life in front of people you dont' know what you share in common with or who they are or if they might hurt you emotionally or physically.

@@yuvrajoberoi7834 hey sry for no reply, i got no notifications here. Guy above me explained it pretty well. Letting go is feeling. For example you start feeling more and more, i mean putting your focus on your sensations in your body. After a while you will connect again if you are completely disconnected. You will feel an underlying feeling wich doninates your life. It can be an unpleasence or just a feeling you are trying to supress for a long time. Usually it’s enough to just take some time without music or any stimulation and just feel how you truly feel inside. Then when you finde the sensation for example fear. You start to feel the fear instead of pushing it away. Your basic inner activity ist unconsciously pushing against unpleasant feelings. Its what everyone does. But now you change this part. Instead of fighting it you feel it. You might have a blockage to do that. If you cant feel you just ask yourself why cant i feel that. And there will come another feeling you gotta feel first through. When you got access to the feeling, doesn’t matter what kind. You just start to consciously feeling it. You might have to lower your resistance about it again and again. You do this through relaxing your inner body. Name it what you want you can name it emotional body. Then you will locate the feeling. For fear it is solar plexus. You feel the feeling and can try to find its source. You just follow the sensation. Usually its located in a spot and then it can fill your whole body. You feel it and dont judge it. You let it flow. You feel how this energy, you will judge it unpleasant or maybe even horrible energy, will get easier and more pleasant. At one moment it will feel acceptable. At this point you can fully put down the resistance and let it completely flow. Then usually you will feel the energy go up stream to your head. You pass the energy and release any resistance you have about it. And it will go through pressure to your head. This all needs time. Every supressed emotion needs time to pass. Sometimes its a really hard one i need 1-2 weeks for that feeling to pass.(f.e. If its traumatic) and then you will feel the pressure on your head/third eye. You feel the pressure and let it flow. Then if its fully completed you will feel how it is to be free of that. Ususally a very plesant and rewarding feeling. And then you move on with the next one if you like. Thats how it is for me :) good luck

What action specifically would it take for this to just become second nature?

@@cynx6245 maybe try the rock in your shoe thing. Like, you wear or bring around something all day that represents some thing Julian or any other coach online said, and make it something you cant forget about. But if theres so many concepts, I just narrow it down to teacher=pebble instead I usually dont have trouble remembering a specific teacher or coach or therapist, as a person, even if the theories might get jumbled cuz I watch so many things. But if Im going around trying to remember that teacher, like they're sitting on my shoulder telling me what to do? Even if i dont remember every concept, Ill remember to think about my thinking and pretend Im working it out with that person, and through that fake conversation I remembers certain techniques that might apply to the situation. If I didnt already have a good imagination of them following me around, I would probably try (and idk if this is too weird) putting a sticker on my shoulder with my therapists name on it. 😂 like, maybe I cant see it, but others can, and thats enough to remember that its there. And that sticker is stalking me making sure I remember my BMods lol. And i would just tell people that cuz everyone is doing therapy anyway so its not that weird. 🤷 I guess I'm just re-inventing the What Would Jesus Do? Ring concept but if you wear it all the time youd probably forget its there so I would make it kinda weird and stand outy and switch it up often. Then of course you end up saying "my therapist said..." like a lot, to random people and they will probably be annoyed. I dont care. If im saying it "too much" then Im doing a good job remembering the important stuff for me. Soon itll stop being "my therapist said" and turn into "I said"

Now ill do some of the things only i like for a change and not care if she likes it and then do the things only she likes because i can.

Hey, Julien. I know me and you don't know each other at all but I really would like to be best friends with you, and I want our friendship to seem like we were biological brothers and like we're like life-long buddies/ pals for many, many years, and can you also be my coach and be like a big brother figure to me too? And how do I get tickets to and for your show?

Bruh look at all those Gigachads being shy and shi, those who stood up like huh, one looks like a fucking chad tribe warrior the other looks like Matthew Mcconaughey, even the audience. Those brothers should've been owning life at this point, but anyway props to them for being life long students. Just shows that looks are not everything.

All of this is very dependent on how physically attractive you are. Ugly+charisma = still ugly and still treated like shit. Hot+charisma = love from others

None of the people in the room know how to dress. Julien, you might have some knowledge but your apparel doesn't compliment you, and that might be off putting. Why are you always covering yourself? Work out if you don't like man boobs. What's that black curtain-looking shirt? Lumbjer jack shirt on top of it isn't great either, you could at least button up to look slimmer as well as more of an authority. Never go stripes, go solid. - This comment isn't meant to be disrespectful at all, by the way. I do stuff, I'm known - this is a smurf account. Good luck with everything.

Bro... this guy... he is literally giving the worst advice you can possibly get haha. So if someone is perhaps a "people pleaser" (whatever that TRULY means) and they are liked by everyone and have no enemies they are apparently bland and lack charisma? Lol like did I miss something here? Am I hearing him correctly?? 😂😂 Also like wtf... caring for people is a good thing and not hell. Like I care for my coworkers and other people doesnt mean that theyre my "value". This guy is such a "manoshpere-alphamale-sigmagrindset" bro its like cringe. haha

Also @12:27 After he gave us a whole reason to manipulate people for OUR intentions not theirs we're to gather stories... Lol Of course so we can talk about OURSELVES and not them so we can mask our insecurities!! He is literally narcissism 😂😂

@@Brosephuswhen something triggers you this far, that you write a comment about it this long. You should think about it, why it does trigger you so hard. Those things are the biggest insights. Your enemy will tell you the truth you needs because he wants to hurt you. Theres something to learn in that!

i think if ur disconnected from real beautiful food culture, how can u be real about anything else... we are what we eat ! without connecting to our food.... we obsess over connecting with each other thru a forced way. i notice in europe, i stop giving a damn about connecting with people cuz the food is soo good and satisfying...everything becomes natural and easy...not something i have to research and figure out...people are natural and easy, not something i have to get a degree in ! l.fao
