As private chauffeur. I only have one client like this. When he's in town I make 4-14 hrs per day/$100phr . I make great money, but my guy is doing everything from eating, business calls, and napping in the back seat. You pick up all the friends, clients, food, and alcohol. I will say it's motivation because I've never met anyone else as productive. And if I get tired and can't keep up(get tired), I get replaced. No, Uber wouldn't achieve the same thing. Uber limits the passenger and the driver.. And uber upcharges the passenger and pays the driver way way less than what I would charge/make

How much does it cost to have personal chaffeur
@fastwrider
@fastwrider 8 месяцев назад
@TobiObafemi it depends. Some people write up contracts with strict agreements that pay weekly monthly or daily. At the end of the day, just consider it a minimum of $100/hr. High cost locations like NYC or California I'd expect to pay more. If i get a call, I know it's always worth the money from my people. I throw out my price, and if they don't like it, I'm not offended. I already dropped all of my old clients that keep comparing my prices to Uber. --- This is not a friendship it's a business. I got bills, and you've got places to go. My clients know that I know my way around the city blindfolded.

I'd imagine in New York City the amount of time saved by not being responsible to find a parking spot for your transportation adds up to hours of time saved each week. His driver just drops him off at the front door everywhere he goes. That will pay for itself very quickly being a business owner and getting that time back every single day to be used better elsewhere. I can easily see how he could sell an extra property a week having that driver.

They may also have unwanted distractions like a loud radio, trying to make small talk, or other hindering things that could impede the work you're trying to do in the car like taking client calls or responding to emails. And honestly a taxi may not even be that cheap for the number of times he would use it. Probably multiple times a day easily.

Some employers don’t understand this concept either. He is also employing a person who is probably happy doing his job. His driver has come out in his videos and he is more than a driver. Servant blows off steam with the. driver during the rides, treats him like a friend and trusts him. It's nice to work with people you like and who understand you. The driver is dependable and trustworthy. He is on the company's payroll, gets benefits, bonuses, etc. Your average driver won't be on a proper payroll. He will work for him forever.

@@tw8464 Real estate is one of the few thing we put real value on... You ever play monopoly? It’s why it’s an asset. Why when you have more money you keep buying more land or more houses or build an extension on your house.
@tw8464
@tw8464 3 месяца назад
@TheGoonSquadd good point. Function or purpose of real estate is the actual value. Anything outside of that is something that someone or some group has artificially orchestrated and ultimately false or temporary "value." The artificial can only go so far before collapsing.

People are never happy with the wealth they already have, it's almost like a competition of power after x amount of money. Similar scenario this is why anytime a company has investors to cater too they make their decisions based on keeping the investors happy weather that means compromise safety and everything else except their profits.

My only gripe with this is I feel like if your time has to be so optimized in the day, I know that job isn't for me. I'm an engineer, most days i feel like I barely work. It's a super specialized role and projects can literally take a decade to complete. When I phrase it like that I could be underpaid, but I get a work life balance that can't be beat

A point which nobody ever makes is that if the billionaire gets into a car crash they are going to get sued because free money right. But if the billionaire hires a chauffeur who crashes then the billionaire is protected. So by having someone else drive you insulate yourself from that risk.

caitlyn jenner killed a woman while driving and got away with it, a similar scenario happened to matthew broderick, just be a public figure and you can kill people with your car. no chauffeur necessary lol

I’m a Realtor I’ve shown up to 18 properties in one day. If I didn’t “hire” my husband to drive me around I could not do it. I have to make calls and have conversations with other agents as we drive around and review property details and codes for the next property.

Based on his job description he needs a driver to go to and from properties bring clients to and from and they’re all high end so you can’t have them in the street corner in the cold rain or snow god forbid for the chosen ones… he NEEDS a chauffeur on a whim on standby downstairs. It’s a tax writeoff too… uber n lyft is tedious to keep receipts… and requires documentation this is so much easier to write off than tallying thousands of individual rides
