Never ever have I came across video about working out and eating that didn't make me feel guilty or bad. The way you explained your way of doing things makes me feel like I'm doing actually good job. Thanks for shearing! 🙂
Thank you for talking about food and fitness in such a refreshing way💕 I’m so tired of some fitness creators telling me what I can’t eat or should eat and lowkey promoting an ED😭
THANK YOU!!!! I have such a balanced and simple approach to my health and fitness! It's all about working out and eating in a way I genuinely enjoy and can see myself doing for decades!!!! Everything in moderation!
Thank you so much! I always try to keep things as simple as possible; if it's simple and easy to understand it make it way easier to apply to your life! Hope you have a great day! :)
I'm going through both the NASM CPT and Certified Nutritionist classes. I lost so much motivation recently. Working 12s and trying to stay active while in school with a kid in school has me exhausted 🥴😩
Thanks for sharing! I'm on the same journey. I workout and eat pretty nutrient dense just like you but wanted to cut 8lbs of fat too to get to my goal weight. I don't usually count macros but just started buy increasing my protein % to 50% of calorie intake to see how my body reacts to that. Like you said it is so fun to experiment. So glad you found what works for you!
First time seeing any of your videos and this is all so interesting! Oh, and I also love buttered noodles. My husband had never heard of them before. I also add 12/3/30 to my workout week, and it is HARD! Twice during the 30 minutes, I have to hold onto the handles of my treadmill for 30-60 seconds for a quick break, and a healthy sip of water. Oh, and when I eat carbs, I gain fat. I do have them, but in limited amounts.
Yea you can train your body to use other fuel/energy but carbohydrates are the body & brains primary and preferred fuel source! I’ve lost over 20 pounds now (this video is old) while holding onto muscle, and I’m eating more carbs than ever!! It’s all about finding what works for YOU! I’m so glad you’ve found success through carnivore! Happy for you and your results!
Great video ! Thank you! I’m going though my journey too- I wonder about the term calorie deficit tho…. Some people over exercise and under eat and consider calorie deficit - however I love that you fit into the carbs feel good for your body and you noticed that in your journey I feel there is such a big push to protein … great video and congrats on meeting your goal !❤
No matter what you choose, diet, exercise or meds. Weight loss is not easy. I recently shared my story on my channel, on how I lost 22 pounds in 5 weeks, which could be really helpful to anyone struggling with weight loss.
This was a great video- thank you! I was laughing during the video because you and I have VERY similar mannerisms! Like, it's trippy haha! Thanks for the awesome info
So funny on the topic of carbs (I can’t agree more btw)😅 reminds me of my friend who is half Italian. “You can’t take bread and pasta away from me” haha love it!
@@juliamerwin I absolutely agree. They get such a bad press which really upsets me. I’m a triathlete and without plenty of carbs I simply couldn’t train but even without any sport at all we still NEEDD THEM!!! Just found your channel and feeling inspired by your back. I want that! It’d really help my swimming to develop more of an upper body. Hmm. Must address this! Enjoying watching all your videos now!
I don’t feel wellif I do not have carbs. I think there are too many different diets. I think a well balanced diet is important. We need red meat!!! It has amino acids that we need. Yes, it’s not for everyone, however, for most people we all need to just eat less, balance your plate with vegetables, salad, protein and a good source of carbs and watch the processed foods and sugar. I have read so many different diet books. I have realized balance in everything even in nutrition is key. I am 66 years old. I have been a dieter since 14 years old. I wasn’t obese. I wanted to be skinny. I was 5’5” 120 lbs. I thought I was fat. The media and society has done this to us for years. Sad to say dieting has only made us fatter! 😮
@@Maria-sd8oj That's totally personalized to me and my activity level! So I mean this in the nicest way, but it wouldn't matter for you or help you to know! I suggest finding your maintenance then going from there!
Naaa, not for me..everything was fine until the old "calorie deficit and less calorie in and more out" comes along. I did better in low carb higher fat, got rid of excess fat and I'm now building up muscle and have a bit more carbs only after workout(lifting) no cardio just walks, no snacking and have not to track a single nothing!
I only tracked the first month of my cut like I said! I haven't tracked in months! It's all about learning what works for YOU and YOUR body; that's the beauty of it! Everyone is different and like I said a million times, it's not a one size fits all thing! It takes some experimenting and trial & error! So glad you found success and found what works for you! I am truly happy for you!
