Bro, it's no ones business how you afford it, but you're a straight up dude for laying that out there. You'll go far in life buddy, keep doing what you're doing and your channel will blow up. I'm 46 years old, retired disabled Vet out the Army and last year I bought a new 2019 Mustang Gt and clean 2017 Chevy Tahoe and people had the oddesidy to ask how did I afford that lol. It's no ones freckin business lol. Love the channel bro, never let anyone steal your thunder hooaahh
Braxsatoon animate Thank you so much! And thanks for your service. I understand it’s nobody’s business, but i thought it’d be nice to be open with you guys
Love that you admit how you got this car and how tight you are in money. I took A big leap buying my 2015 mustang knowing I could barely afford it. But I was in a privileged position like yourself, where I could buy the car without worrying too much about costs. What I do regret is that is has set me back in moving out on my own earlier than I would like. But I work hard for what I have and plan on moving out soon.
Love the video bro its the raw truth . Thank you for being so blunt and honest so that people can understand how it truly works and what they can do to get into one of these .
Hell yeah man! Watching your videos is really getting me thinking how I will be getting my channel toghother. Similar, I'm 22 and bought my first car, dream car ever. being a 2016 gt350 and some people can't believe I own one so young.
Build your credit and take care of your finances it's a great feeling bought my focus rs 2 years ago its paid of just bought a 19 roush stage 3 waiting for delivery as long as u dont strain yourself enjoy every minute
My dumb ass picked up a '21 GT knowing insurance would be nearly $400 a month due to my age and location Love the way you put it though, we're not getting any younger
Love the honesty, and you're right about Dave Ramsay not approving. Also I think it's great that you mentioned that there are a lot of people out there that can't afford to have nice things, so we need to remember them, and also be grateful for what we do have. Great color choice too!
Huge respect to you man for all the honesty. Having such a badass car at 19 is incredible. You seem responsible and definitely appreciate the opportunity which is awesome. Keep making good content as well. I also understand the CA gas, I live about 2 hours North of you. As far as cars... I did what you said, got a well equipped 2018 GT with Performance Pack and manual for $30k. Car was barely used and comfortable monthly payments. Keep it up man.
BSchoon55 Thank you! Honestly sometimes I regret not just going for a slightly used more base model. I’m probably gonna be looking into getting a cheap $8-10k daily like a used chevy cruze so my mustang wont be daily driven in the near future. Base model stangs are better value. Anyways, I appeciate your comment. :)
Caffeinated Motors No problem man. Yeah getting a cheap daily is probably a good idea so that GT isn’t a daily driver. Obviously a DD will cut down on your gas and wear of the actual vehicle. I have a 2019 Fiesta ST as my DD. I actually got that first and was going to hold off on the GT but I got a good enough deal that I just went for it.
Be glad your dad helped you a lot. And it looks like you are. I am 25, my insurance for my 2020 GT is 250 a month. But good thing is, my wife and I saved money up which I put down 20K down. My payments are 375 a month!
Late to this comment but why is your insurance so expensive? I’m not meaning that rudely either lol. I’m 25 as well and I’m getting a 2021 mustang GT Premium and full coverage insurance is only 125$/month for me.
@@encoder5.0 It went down. Not sure why it was so expensive but progressive usually tends to screw me. With me getting married and everything. I am paying $135 for premium!
Just got me a 14’ Mustang premium GT, and this video really helped ease my nerves on payments. I did get set back on funds. But I’m in a good situation making decent money with OT benefits I’ll make it work. Thanks bro for putting the real in real talk.
I appreciate your honesty,I have watched a few of your videos. you have a new sub looking forward to some good mustang content. and yes I do have a GT mustang 2020 and love it !!!!
I know I’m a year late, but I subscribe to your channel specifically because you told the truth about how you got your car. I appreciate you not pretending you’re some sort of financial genius, are you make $1 trillion a year on your RU-vid channel. There is nothing wrong with having financial assistance, particularly at your age. Hell, it’s a good thing if your parents have set themselves up to be in a position to be able to help you at any age! Thank you for the honesty! It makes me trust the rest of your content!
Right on man. Nice car. Refreshing to see honesty in your videos about your situation. You just gained a subscriber :) Hey I just got a GoPro 7. I should do a video to tease some of the other guys with how at only 47 years old I afford my 2003 Mach 1 :)
I grew up privileged. It is great to be able to say if my life were to turn to crap, at least my parents spoiled me and gave me a great childhood. Coming from Iran, I hope you had a great life and continue to have it. You are great!
I really liked the video and how honest you were with how you were able to get it. I personally just got a 2019 GT PP1 and I was able to finance it all myself, I am a little older than you (22) and I am already done with college and have started my career (that helped a lot). But like I said I appreciate how you weren't fake about it like most other RU-vidrs.
I graduated end of 2018 with a decent amount owed for my time in college. But, you are right the money I am making now because of my degrees I would not have been making when I was 21. I do know my parents would have helped me like yours did. I am just glad I am in a spot now where I can help them if need be which is a good feeling forsure.
Watched your first video and had a slight doubt that you could be Persian then i forgot about it until this vid and you said it..😂 i got the same dream here but in UK. Unfortunately co-signing isn’t a thing with Ford dealerships so in July I’m gonna try my luck on my own credit😬. Nice channel👌🏼
Hey! Congratulations on getting the car you want when you are young. I think it is great that your parrents helped you. My parents bought me one car after another after I would wreck them. I have a bad driving record.
There is nothing wrong with your parents helping you out if it’s within their means! You obviously have a lot of respect and appreciation for them. You also work for it as well. It’s not a handout to an ungrateful spoiled child. Enjoy it bud. You obviously got your head on straight.
I plan on doing the same thing I’m saving up 15-18k myself for a down payment and my parents have offered to make the monthly payment while I make the difference in insurance and gas. Very blessed to have this opportunity I know how u feel
I have Mad respect for you man. I’m currently 20 years old wanting a dream car in a young age I’m currently a full time college student and doing social media and detailing cars as a side hustle so hopefully maybe next year I’ll be able to get my dream car. I was wondering how other young people be able to afford extremely expensive cars at a young age because most videos Ive watched are mostly bs I mean the only way you can have lots of money in a young age is doing like social media, stocks, other easy business side hustles or being a celebrity or if you grew up with money.
Subscribed just for being a real ass person!! I couldn’t get the GT because of my lack of credit history and I don’t have someone to co-sign for me so I ended up getting the Ecoboost, i worked with my sales rep and should be getting a GT in a round a years time! Nice video bro
When I was 19, I got my dream car; a 2016 Subaru WRX. Same situation as you, parents were doing well in life, my mom cosigned, only difference is I put the downpayment down and that was it. I TOTALLY understand what you mean when you say "Sometimes I don't feel like I should have this". I feel that as well, sometimes feel like I don't deserve to have the car and that I didn't earn it, which at the end of the day, both are true. However, I have found that the reality of the situation is this; you can't just "return" it and at the end of the day, I'm sure my mom finds it well worth it to see the smile on my face. On a sidenote, I plan on purchasing a Mustang GT next year after I graduate from IT school. Again, most certainly won't be the most intelligent decision and I'm fairly certain Dave Ramsay would chew me out, but having a car I enjoy is worth more to me than almost any other luxury.
I saved up 30,000 for a year and I’m going to take out my 2020 mustang gt for 20,000 with a 520 credit score . I’m 23 and my monthly payments will be 400 an month . I’m only young once fuck it .
Straight honesty, I appreciate that!! Growing up my family was well below the poverty line for income and had next to nothing. I never went to college and got a job in automotive manufacturing. When I was 24 I decided to get into management and am happy to say that my kids will never have to deal with the struggles I did growing up and that’s how it should be. I make sure to tell them stories about what it was like for me growing up so they understand and appreciate the life they are able to live. Kudos to your dad for working hard to provide this for you and kudos to you for knowing and appreciating how lucky you are 🍻
2v_Yautja Thank you for the kind words. My dad had to go through what you went through so I live the life I do. He grew up in Iran and we were lucky to come here and he worked his way up from a truck driver to the successful businessman he is today. I’ll never forget what he did to put me in my situation and it’s also a huge motivation for me to work harder and reach above and beyond. Thanks for your comment
Congrats on your mustang. At 19 that’s big but keep up the payments and this will for sure help your credit score and history 💪🏽💪🏽Love your car and that color champ FYI: some of those other youtubers probably get sponsorships 🤷🏽♂️
Yo, I live in the same neighborhood as you, drive a 2020 mustang gt, and I’m Iranian as well. We should definitely kick it and go for a drive sometime. Crazy how similar we are dude.
The tail lights got me the first time i Noticed them when i went to Florida, I was very young and now I have a civic because that’s all I could afford. But every time I see one I just hope I can be the person causing the turn signals
Like what you had to say and how you said it, I first seen you with the gearbox shift rattle and wondered the outcome, but more how are you and do you still have the car, but more I hope your ok. James Australia 🇦🇺
if you don’t mind me asking .. what does your father do because that’s impressive he was able to do that. Congrats on the car bro! One of my dream cars, along with the GT350
I love you. You just real AF. I also have insurance under my mom. I have 2003 toyota. school full time. I have stopped working cuz of mental health lol. My dream car is the mustang gt. I hope to get it after I graduate and be a engineer.
I’m 21 and financing my own 2020 gt with the performance package I put 20k down so my payment would be mid 300 and I didn’t need my parents to do sign for me I was approved by myself but great job bro.👌
I’m really happy for you and the support your parents were able to provide. If you keep up the hard / smart work, you will establish your credit through this arrangement. Because I’m doing Mustang research your video populated as a recommendation. February I will purchase a 2020 GT. not sure how much options I can afford, but I’m anticipating satisfaction regardless. I’ve watched other videos of yours and I’d like to add that nothing is perfect and never will be. I encourage you to celebrate what is good and never let imperfections overwhelm your experience. Today I’m subscribing to your channel to follow your journey. Soon we’ll both have something in common. Have a great day and a Happy New Year!
Hey man , I like the video but I’m all honestly I wanted to know WHAT was your down payment on the car then ? & what’s your monthly payment?? That’s what I wanted to know Bc I’m getting one in 2020 man , can you let me know that ? To know what to expect ! I’m also getting at 45k msrp one
Just remember you should be able to get that Stang at at least 7% under MSRP. Ford automatically tacks on 7% to their estimate and Don't buy the extra insurance/Warranty the dealer will try to sell you. Go buy it on the last day of the month if you can too. The dealer is still making money at 10% below MSRP. Don't feel bad about walking away :) Don't feel bad about playing Ford dealers against each other trying to get a good price.
Inspiring story! I got my 95 Camaro Z28 new when I got my first job making 16k. Now I'm older and got another Camaro and 2 Mustangs V8 cause I love muscle cars. Never gonna get a BMW!!!
Nothing wrong with parents helping out if you have the chance to do it that way. At least your honest about it. It's a sick car and you have to have fun in life
Canadian Cruisin Exactly. Again, even without support id be able to do this on my own, the support just allowed me to buy new and with options lmao. At the end of the day though i believe in transparency
When I was 19 my first new car (99' Civic SI) was co-signed by my father as well. There is no shame. Keep doing your thing, keep building your credit and yeah tehre are a lot of shady "young" youtubers who definitely got "sponsored" by #parentsmoney
You had your dad co sign lucky for you my parents wouldn't do anything like that but i bough my 35k msrp mustang eco I did not get the gt because of insurance and did not care for power much atm but I did not need co sign but my job saved me 60k a year is no joke im 20 and work as an engineer for industrial laundry i pay for my own insurance so 420 for insuramce my car payments are 450 but I pay 700 to 800 a month credit score is going up and history going for gt500 3 years from now gas price are crazy here in Cali the job I work for did not go down while covid hit have not missed a payment
SoCalBronco70 MGW shifter, either corsa sport catback or roush axle back which would be added along w the roush x pipe i already have. E85 in the future if i get a cheap daily
If you don’t want your parents to co sign try and ask them if you can be a verified user on their accounts!! If they have good credit it’ll literally be like it’s your credit. You’re welcome!
This Is An Awesome Video, I’ve Been In Your Shoes, Got My First Job At 20, My Dad Got Me A Starter Car, NOT A Muscle I Wish It Were, After That I Wasn’t Able To Pay It Because Of My Job Paying 9.00hr And Part Time Under 30hrs A Week, So I Bought An 04 V6 Mustang With The Money I’ve Saved, Still Drive It Even Now, Last Year I Transferred Positions And Now With More Hours And More Money, Hopefully I’ll Be Able To Order A 2020 S550 Somewhat Next Year Because I’m Nowhere Near The Money I Want To Put Half Payment On, But This Time I’ll Provide For My Own
looks like my mom is planning on co-signing the car when i get it in about a year or 2 once i start saving up for the car i look forward to manifesting & accomplishing getting a 2015 or 2016 Ford Mustang Ecoboost or V6 whatever is the cheapest & pay the gas & insurance from the 2 part time jobs or 1 part time job & 1 full time job best of luck to you Shane i know it’s been a while since you’ve had that model & it caused you problems such as engine failure but do you think a used 2015 or 2016 V6 or Ecoboost is worth it or no.
My ecoboost was actually very reliable. I had a new 2017 and I traded it in at 35,000 miles with no issues. Id reccomend the ecoboost over the V6 personally
Before you even start talking I can tell you how you afford it! Your parents have money and that’s always a big plus. Very nice house your dad and mom have. Someday when you gotta pay for a house and cars it’s gonna be a shock to you how much your parents have given you. Watching young guys on RU-vid talk about hustling makes me laugh. I know if you work hard you can get a lot But before youtube we all had to have jobs. I appreciate your honesty very good upload. Your dad is a awesome guy I’m sure your a good kid for him to do that for you. Makesure you don’t screw up and screw your dad you usually get 1 chance and what he did most parents won’t do.
Underfedcoyote 5.0 Yes sir. I understand every day the privileged situation i’m in and the luck I have. I never take it for granted and I’m grateful every day. Thanks for your comment
Yep exactly my parents never gave me anything and my mom is pretty well off and I don’t see a dime from her, it all has to be earned. I’m paying 600 a month for my 19 gt and 500 for my insurance lol it’s tough but definitely worth it! 26 btw
MILLENIALL GT nice it’s good to earn it and it’s nice to have nice things at a young age. I plan on giving my son my mustang when he gets his license. It’s not going to be brand new but will be in the 9s and should be pretty much a purpose built street drag car. But if he doesn’t hold decent grades he will not have the car. I believe if you got why not share it. But I know many people don’t think like me.
Caffeinated Motors car will have multiple tunes 9s will be tracj days. Around town tune 10s if it hooks. Will have a blower and built motor. I’m sure his mom will have him in a new truck too. This give me a excuse to get my C8 😂
like the honesty man. I’m in your same shoes. I have no credit history but I have fair credit. Barely started my credit. My dad won’t co- sign for me. He wants me too do things on my own. Sucks ass man. Parents do help though man but now it’s my little bro and sisters turn for my dad too get the toys they want. Just a simple question. You think for a car like that. 2020 PP. $7,000 down payment with fair credit and first time buyer is possible too get a car like that since you already went through the paper work.
Caffeinated Motors I went today. Talked too a salesman. Got some good news.👍🏻 looks like I can. Looking at a all black PP1 49,995 like yours but In all black. Have too put down 10,000 down payment. Looking into it. Once everything goes right and I get it. I’ll post a video and see if I can tag you or send it your way👍🏻. Early birthday gift for me.
If you have excellent credit or have a co-signer with excellent credit you don’t have to put anything down . 0 down with a low interest rate is the best . It’s best that you pocket those 10k for savings/backup
I want one got no credit or credit history I don’t care if it’s a 2022 or 2019 I just want the 10speed you thing I would be able to get one ? Im saving for 8k down payment
