I agree, I didn't have the proper guidance at school. My degree is in Human Resources and I've never worked in that. If I knew what I know now I would of done something else.

Congratulations on completing your degree and snagging your first library gig.

Wow I really relate to you! I’m also from Orlando and I just finished my bachelors. I never really knew what I wanted to do but I ended up getting my degree in environmental science but I don’t really love it. I think I want to work at a library. Right now I just want some library experience before deciding if I want to get a masters. I’m thinking of volunteering until I can get a job there. Do you recommend getting a library technician/technology certificate?
