During the various lockdowns we've endured over the last 2 years, when I wasn't able to ride my bikes I got into keeping them really clean. Considering previously my idea of cleaning a bike was leaving it out in the rain, I've completely overcorrected and kind of gone down the rabbit hole a bit, buying specific products for specific tasks, detailing brushes etc. but it's great to be able to stick some music on and work away at bringing them back to their best.
It's also a great chance to inspect the bike thoroughly and hopefully spot any problems before they become bigger problems (loose bolts, corrosion starting etc.).
I put the GoPro on time-lapse last weekend and have listed the products I use in the video itself. I'm by no means an expert, and I know professional detailers who go to much greater lengths than me, but this helps keep me sane and keeps the bikes in great shape.
Some things to note before I get slated in the comments: the pressure washer is a low-pressure unit, sets to its widest fan setting and while it's hard to notice in a time-lapse video, the nozzle is always moving side to side (unless pointed at a flat surface like the top box) so water is not being driven directly at things like wheels & bearings etc.
