If you have a gas or electric edger, just set the depth of the blade to 3" or less (not more than 3") and it makes a perfect line around your property to bury the wire... and your feet won't hurt when your done unless you have "Gout".

Took me forever with the tuft of grass and hard clay and tree roots! A full days work for 1/4 acre even though half of it didn't need to be buried because they run through bushes. I had to use a dull axe to create a trench for the shovel to penetrate the ground. Ug. But thanks for the helpful and entertaining videos.

Very informative. I bought Sit Boo Boo invisible fence, Just ordered off amazon. Your link for the free install guide “for dummy” isn’t working. Can you please provide the link? Do I need to have a professional install or can I (knows nothing about invisible fence/electrical stuff) do it myself. Please advise.

Hello, I have a question for you. I installed a loop of 16 gauge wire about 350 feet across part of my land. I would like to install another loop in another part of the field but since I no longer have enough 16 gauge wire can I use the wire that came with the kit purchased which is 20 gauge. The new loop will have approximately 200 to 250 feet in length and both loops would be linked together and operated on the same transmitter. Thanks in advance for your help and reply,

Need your help im getting a electic fence this week its coming from calif off of ebay when u r twisting the wires toghther is this cutting the juice from rhis area so dog can walk across safely ? So do i have to twist the wires at all. I did it your way first go around about 5 years ago. I pulled a little with shovel to raise sod and it went much faster. This time I am going to mess up the yard a bit and do it faster with a subsoiler on the tractor. If you do it with the shovel for any large distance prepare for an achy foot for a day.

I have a complete 48 inch high sturdy fence around my acre yard. My newly acquired Irish Wolfhound easily leaps over often. Can I simply mount the signal wire to the fence? My soil is very rocky, difficult digging. Great videos. My kit arrives today!!
