GREAT INFO!!! Thanks so much, Coach Kel!! I have been teaching fitness for 15 years, but am fairly new to Barre, so this is incredibly helpful, AND I love your workouts!! for me, I find that people burn out on abs very quickly, so I tend to separate abs into 2 sections (first half and second half) to give them recovery time, so they don't give up! I know this vid is from a few years ago, but i just discovered you recently and love your work!! thanks for being you!!
I love this! Here I was watching your videos, thinking how much watching is making me a better teacher! And then I found THIS video... Just perfect! Thank you!!! :)
Would you consider posting a segment on the cardio portion you do at the end of your class? I have been teaching for a while and I think that would be a great segment to add to my own classes. Thanks, this was really helpful!
Hi....I've been teaching a barre class now for a few years, and I absolutely love your breakdown. I plan to start switching up the way I format my class. Not that I think it's wrong, but I think it would make it more cohesive & streamlined. I follow a lot of barre babes, and you are one of my favs!!! Thanks for sharing....keep up the great work.
So helpful.. just did a course and now I'm in that phase before submitting a video... and my anxiety levels... I think music and a, practicum hours, obs hours... I already each yoga, but barre is a different animal, and my freak out points are the exercises and flowing... this videos helps a lot.. thank you
Thank you, Kelly, for posting this. It's very helpful for me as I am going to be teaching Barre soon and I feel like my one day certification program wasn't really enough to get me started. Your work out videos are inspirational and straight to the point. I like your style. Keep up the good work! Also good luck with the new baby.
Thank you for the kind words. I felt the same way after my certification so Im really glad you found this helpful! That first year teaching is definitely a learning process and I found a lot of inspiration from watching barre videos on youtube as well. Good luck as you get started teaching and thanks again :)
Wow!!! This was extremely helpful! I already use a very similar format but this really helped confirm what I’m doing and I appreciate all the extra tips. You are so gifted at teaching and guiding newbies! Thank you for putting this together. Will pass on to others I trained with
I recently got my instructor certification in Mexico! Love your explanation, still very difficult to me class structure! Is a relief to know that is kind of common when your are starting
Hi coach! I just found your channel and I really appreciate the time you put in to give us these great workout videos. I would definitely vote for the hour long video. Would love to try out your full technique for barre workouts. What would you recommend doing as a week's schedule? Would live your feedback. Thanks a bunch and two thumbs up.
I do almost the same but I do warm up followed by legs then glutes/side work, upper body then abs and stretch 😁 but I might mix it up and reverse it sometimes to your style too just for something a little different. 😁
