What’s up my brother I love your videos they’re real helpful to a upcoming car transporter like myself. I do have a question for you I’m out of St. Louis and the question I have is what all permits do you have to keep in the truck just in case DOT pull you over?
Great video bro! Quick question im considering getting it to auto hauling in Houston Texas. U mentioned central dispatch is that brokerage company who posts the runs? And if so are they first come first serve explain how that works.
Thanks for you comment. Central Dispatch is a website where brokers can list car that need to be shipped. It is also a site where carriers can find work.
What was the name of the company that didn’t want to pay on time. I am a new hauler it’s just about to get into the business and I would love to know the name of these bad companies so I can avoid them. Great videos keep them coming.
You ever have weight issues with that 3500 and 4 car trailer? Reason im asking is because i just bought a 3500 and that exact trailer but was wondering.
@@vetwaytransportation nice 👌 I'm getting the bags installed tomorrow with an auxiliary fuel tank/toolbox.. going to be running out of CA planning on running Ca to TX
@vetwaytransportationco.1099 I'm 22 and currently haul for carmax in a 9 car hauler. I really want to start my own hotshotting to make more $. How much money do you need to start up?
If your load is booked through a broker then you can file against their bond for non-payment. If it’s a personal customer in order to be legally covered you must have your own contract for payment so that if non-payment occurs you can sue. You can also get paid on delivery before unloading but that’s not always an option when dealing with brokers.
@franky7830 I understand it wasn’t worth it for you and your business didn’t make it. I really hate that for you. However trying to cast your fails upon me isn’t getting you anywhere. I’m happy with what I do so it’s probably best you leave the negativity at the door because we’re happy and healthy over here. 🫡
I’m currently looking into this right now. My research basically tells me is pretty much depends on the price of your truck and trailer(what I’m looking at will be about 45k combined). Those are the 2 most expensive things. Next will be insurance and the price of that will roughly depend on what state you’re in. The rest isn’t really that big of a deal.
I got up and running for around 26k cash invested. Cash trailer and large down payment on newer truck. It can be more or less depending on the equipment you decide on.
Is $1650 a month a lot for insurance for a 2 year CDL holder (new business) for Ram 3500 and 3 car hauler w $5000 deductible? Who do you recommend for insurance? Love the videos!
