Everything you just said is exactly how I remember most of season 3 being, most ppl still don't understand the whole no need to ban talus, or the whole mercy kill dmg resist abuse is the way to go, and especially refusing to ban or grab jenos/corvus before you get stomped by an andro or zhim being pockted 24/7. Yea I think off tank flank duo is really good, that's what I did with my friend marcusaaron4 I was flank and he was off tank I got 80tp In masters and we got him to diamond. PS I really appreciate the informative content, I feel like every split players get worse and worse, and it gets harder and harder to win with randoms, just this basic explanation of meta, just so people don't do stupid things and throw games on accedent is so good.
Honestly, rank doesn't even matter these days in Paladins. Even if you are high rank you can still be matched up with low level players and can ruin your game. As long as the matchmaking is fucked your rank hardly matters.
That's the reason I rarely ever touch ranked, unless I make a 3-stack with people I know are gold at the game. I'm getting matched up against Season 1 Grandmasters in casuals while my team consists of players who are still level 50 or 100. I don't wanna have to deal with that in ranked, especially since losing a rank match comes with a penalty. Man, Paladins really needs to step up its matchmaking game.
Okay just watched the whole video and I completely agree with everything you say. I have played Inara in PTS and honestly, she seems the same as in live. Her nerf was literally nothing. But that's just me I guess, we'll have to see on the 28th.
I am glad you agree on that Androxus is one of the best/the best champion in the game. I have complained about him to people before, but they all refused to say he was too good. He was one of my least levelled champions, I played as him for the first time in months and I was dominating, although I don't even normally play as flanks
I would like life link to receive a buff, All because it’s very stressful to heal 4 people by taking damage gladly. I only get a life link if the enemy team doesn't have a very consistent damage. Usually I get a life link to heal myself too
all of us who are masters and were gm can reach the master rank in only 25 games (approximately) It is an easy and fast formula (only if you have enough skill) if the ability of those who watch this video is Platinum gold or diamond 5/4 it does not matter how many videos and guides that person sees, because that person will never be able to be GM until I have the necessary skill
I play support or tank my Duo plays flank or damage he's always getting accused of hacking even though he's clearly not he plays his game at a very low gamma and I do the call-outs being a support I see more of what's going on I see who's losing health and I tell him to go this way but we always get accused of cheating and it's like one this game isn't worth cheating on to you have someone doing call-outs to a pretty good damage dealer. The toxicity in this game is so much we haven't even played in a while. He also plays on PC with controller I'm on console
We've actually gone against you one time when you are on PlayStation nobody said anything that much but there are a lot of matches we get accused of cheating they say I have Wall hacks and he has Aimbot. Certainly not the case I just pay attention and tell him what to do. It's so annoying
Also you guys wrecked us on that match like completely wrecked us. The first letter of his account is S in the first letter is M on mine and it's like damn we have played for 3 years together in real life friends so we have amazing synergy
What do you use to record your gameplay and if it's obs what settings do you use because I can't seem to get your quality even though I have a good pc.

with obs, you can do something called remux recordings. it will very quickly convert all selected mkv videos into mp4. Just to letting you know so you dont need to waste those recordings you did.

Lol I remember when the rank system was different in 2019 paladins, so in 2019 I played 5 qualifying ranked matches and I ended up winning all of them despite being a noob and then as a result, I went into diamond. My first match in diamond was my first experience of toxic players LMAO-
Back in 2017 i got to dmd 2 with RANDOMS by always picking Fernando. Was very close to dmd 1 in the end tho. In the end i was 2nd with Nando on ps4 platform but i was 1 win away from being 1st...just 1 win boi i was sad. But still i was proud. The secret is just play 4h every day since the 1st day of the ranked season you can make it.
Hey I just wanted to ask you, if Maeve is a good pick in higher ranks, even though you didn't mention her, in the current meta of broken champs. By the way I'm new in Paladins and wanted to play as soon as possible ranked games. I know that I will have to practice lot with her. I do not want to be a one trick with Maeve, but she's actually my main champion and too I know that it will need a quite long time to get better with her. Greetings from Germany ^^
Maeve isn’t the best option in higher ranks but if you’re Good with her then you can probably use her in some situations. There are just better options most the time
Yeah, I didn't see Maeve much in videos of higher ranks, but I saw quite a lot insane situations with her. And I was thinking about playing Androxus or Buck as an alternative flank champ and perhaps switching to one them. Because I saw pretty fast, I like to flank players of the enemy team. But I also like healing my teammates and I was talking with a friend about buying Io, 'cause he told me, that likes to play her. And I see him play her, most as his first pick in the in the first matches we're playing. Last but not least, thanks for your answer and your great vid for cureent meta of playing ranked. Former gm season 1 on ps4 by solo. It seems hard to rank up using switch. When ur rank is higher, almost last pick is bad. When my rank is low, the first pick using damage / flank is bad. Noobs dont want to use tank. If noob use tank. They are just passive on point no damage
I got to masters mostly solo queuing as ash. People just don't play off tank that well usually and a good off tank can really do well against 2 support comps that people like to run. Just my pc experience using my main ash to carry lol.
I wanna see an opinion on this idea since you said more bans. Let’s say every person on the team gets a ban? Like we have 40+ champs and 10 out the game off the start there’s still a good amount of options. A lot more champs would see more play but it does seem like a lot of bans. Or the top two of each team gets two bans so it’s 8. Idk but ranked now is just a “Who has more broken stuff and who plays broken stuff better” kind of thing. I would nerf a lot of characters rn cuz a good amount of these characters do so much with almost no skill or effort. Vivian, Strix, Viktor, even Andro. Corvus and Jenos. I could rant for hours but lmk about the number of bans idea.
@@Vyktoryah The Viktor nerfs is something I think might actually affect the character but Vivian the nerfs she got don’t really stand out to me like she won’t be a must ban or first pick champ. I feel she will still be that kind of champ.
Isn’t Io locked into her healing trance like Seris though? However I guess you have a point because she makes up for it in dmg reduction through channeling or even speed if you put that in a load out. Someone on reddit came up with this idea, but they thought of giving a stat boost to characters like Seris while she’s channeling restore soul. Would it be broken if her stat boost was while channeling restore soul players can’t be brought down below 5% of their health?
Yes she is locked into her healing as well, but yes she does make up for it with damage reduction/speed. Also it’s very easy to stop channeling to attack and switch right back as where seris has a cooldown. I’ve always liked the idea of giving seris a stat buff, but having people not be brought below 5% of their health would be a little broken, she would become the best healer in the game if she straight up prevented death just by using her heal
Vyktoryah I was thinking like immortality for 1.5 seconds? Like through the channel of her heal would be liked giving all the champions a free ghost walk
btw inara nerf dosent feel really bad, i was maining inara before and i dont really feel the diffrence she is still pretty good tank. ALSO how tf do you have more skins than i had on level 100, am i that unlucky on chests? lol
It’s not hi Rez it’s Sony, hi Rez allows cross progression because you can play your Xbox or switch account on pc, but won’t doesn’t allow your PS4 account to be logged into on another platform
How can u get master on controler? I cant turn fast enough and there are a lot of kogas evies maeves and so on i have been thinking about gyro but then all my skill learned with normal controler would go to waste :(
If you’re on PS4 you’re able to play with all controller players, Xbox, switch and pc players that use controller :) I have a discord as well as there are a few servers for paladins to find players
Not really, you want the damage reduction from the Grenades bc they stack, if you’re fighting an androxus that’s a grandmaster, especially with a pocket, you have to have that damage reduction to stand a chance
I'm sorry but don't waste your time on console, play pc instead you won't regret it. I'm tired of shitty match making, aim assist, and crap low level teammates that don't know what they're doing.
Oh no, it’s almost as if I play damage and get pocketed as well as doing the pocketing! 😬 just playing the meta my guy. Been masters way before this pocket meta by playing Maeve
