I’m Bi in a catholic school as well. My teachers don’t accept it, but luckily my mom is accepting and supportive of it, even though she’s very religious. I wasn’t scarred to come out because she told me from an early age it was okay to love whomever I love.

I think I’m definitely attracted to both guys and girls but more sexually attracted to boys and romantically attracted to both. I think growing up that was definitely hard for me to grasp that I may be bi since I always did like boys more and little fetus me thought that that meant straight. Please talk more about your biromantic homosexuality! That might be what I am, because I have had crushes on guys and girls, but when I look back I realize that none of the guy crushes were based on physical aspects. It was all on their personality. And now, I am super against being in a relationship with a guy for whatever reason, I am still trying to figure it out. And girls, as far back as I can remember I can recall wanting to befriend the girls in my class who I found beautiful, even though I would never talk to them. I even remember in first grade I made a girl a paper bouquet of flowers for her birthday. Yet I did not realize that this means that I like girls in this way until six months ago. I have accepted that I like girls, but I still don’t know what exactly to label myself. And I feel like I need a label. There is little to no biromantic homosexual representation, and I feel so alone so please help!
I can definitely relate to this! And I honestly wasn't sure being gay but biromantic was a thing until I watch this. I only realized I was romantically and sexually attracted to girls about a year ago, and I've always had crushes on guys, but now I don't really see myself going out with a guy as much as a girl. I'm still questioning it right now, but it helps to know this is a possibility.

Reading this comment made me so sad! I came out to my friends and they are all around accepting of lgbt to begin with so I got lucky, but for you I would recommend you educate them (subtly) about the fact that you will not develop crushes on them, because I know it sucks to live in the closet. I was there for two days, and it was the darkest most depressing moment of my life. At least that was my experience. Just be yourself, and do not be afraid! Just don’t make long held eye contact with them when you are changing. I hope this helped :)
This video helped! Up until just a few months ago I believed I was straight, because I very occasionally crushed on boys. Then I developed a very strong crush on a girl I know. This lead to me questioning my sexuality a lot recently. There are factors that make it quite complicated, but I felt like I was most likely bisexual. My only problem is the sexual part. The definition of bisexuality is feeling _sexual_ attraction to more than one gender. The idea of sexual attraction makes me uncomfortable and I have never experienced it. This might be because I’m still in my early teens, but a lot of my friends my age talk about it sometimes and I can’t understand the feeling. I think I might be asexual, but I keep thinking “maybe you only feel that because you’re too young to understand the appeal of sexual attraction..” and it makes me feel very doubtful. But! While I was watching this video I took note of the term “biromantic” and a switch just clicked! I already knew what it meant but thinking about it more the term feels like a comfortable way to describe myself. I don’t feel like I can confirm my asexuality but until that day comes, I now feel like I can almost confidently call myself biromantic. Thank you very much for helping me realise this! Everyone is like ”you’re straight” and I’m like ” I have been attracted to girls multiple times. This actually helped me a lot. I’ve been struggling trying to figure myself out. I was brought up catholic and had drilled in my head that I was “supposed” to be with a man. YES FINALLY!! Bi-romantic, it makes so much sense now! I never felt attraction to men so I thought I might have been asexual but as I went on I realized I did have attraction, but it was for women only. I'd always say I'm bi, cause I would still date a dude, kiss, hold hands, but anything further is not my cup of tea. Now I've realized I'm not asexual or just straight up gay, I'm just bi-romantic! When you said you are homosexual and bi-romantic...I was like oh my gosh..there's a way to describe that. I'm the same way, I'm just coming to terms with all of this(as I also grew in a very conservative Christian home, with the belief that who I am is wrong.) And have been trying to figure out this whole thing, and struggling with knowing that I am definitely romantically attracted to both genders, but sexually only to woman, has been difficult coming to terms with. I also use to say that I'm bi, 'cause, as you said in your video, it' s easier to explain and to understand. But, in reality I'm pan because I consider that I can love anyone, even a neutral gender person (just because I'm gender neutral too, so...) or a transsexual person. I mean, I just love humans. Whoever they are. But it' s often so complicated to explain... So I'm not feeling lonely in this situation anymore, thanks to you gurl. I've struggled with my feelings all my life,ive now started accepting myself unconditionally! I now am beginning to welcome my female aspect and have incorporated it into my masculine self which was out of balance and lacking from the formative years of my childhood.There are voids left where certain basic and fundamental needs weren't met and up until now have only just gotten worse because I've not dealt with them like the bits of shrapnel that they are, lodged down deep that never go away! but now that my thinking is not restricted by barriers and walls(invisible though they may be!) My personality is able to grow now that I love myself and I don't waste my time with regrets of a past that others had control over,I now have regrouped, adapted and fabricated a life that fits me according to my current circumstances, I am happier than ever now that I've taken a serious and pro active approach to life at hand! Our physical bodies are(usually) either male or female, which have coalesced to form a vehicle to house our other "bodies" and not to rigidly hold fast to and emphatically identify with!
thank you so much, I 've been trying to find my label for years now. I always felt an attraction to females but I would always think about having a romantic relationship with men as a kid. The way you identify yourself made me find my label and for that, I'm so grateful.
I am starting to realize that I am bisexual and demiromantic. Your video helped me realize that it is perfectly fine to be religious and identify somewhere on the LGBTQIA spectrum. I am a Christian, and I just have to remind myself that God made me this way and that there is a reason He let me think I was straight for 20 years.

I remember at age eighteen paying for something at a store to this gorgeous cashier. It seemed strange because I found myself feeling toward her how I often feel around guys. Then I just brushed it off. Years later Blue is the Warmest Colour got released and I would only watch that infamous seven minute scene. Lol I tried telling myself I was only watching out of curiosity. 😂 Like please! Now I know I definitely enjoy both.

Soo I’m 11, and 5 minutes ago I was absolutely sure I was straight. Then I went to “yeah I’m definitely straight” looked at the wall for 5 minutes, “am I bi?” Noo, of course not!!! “Yeah, I’m straight.” And it’s not even that I don’t support LGBT. My brother is gay and I absolutely love his boyfriend he has the sweetest heart. He’s went through a tough time as well, he lost his mother then sister and currently losing his father. See I understand, when we try to put lines, labels and boundaries on ourselves we have problems in time because we as humans are multi dimensional and many faceted! lines, lables and boundaries are only abstract ideas, just ephemeral symbols that can only feebly describe at best the "us" that cannot be really identified or pinned down by some one who doesn't have the ability to grasp the totality of all that encompasses that which is called Bi- sexuality!

I used to collect magazines of girls when I was literally in 1st grade, they were so attractive and pretty, especially dark hair and light eyes, there bodies were perfect and I just ended up having so many celeb crushes on them, I only like boys when it came to school though, but recently I’ve been getting more comfortable with my sexuality and have had a HUGE girl crush....
