@@ralphholiman7401I led a mostly boring life (after my late 20s) and have a shit ton of pains. After 40 they seem to alternate, one stops as another takes over 😂
Know and understand the difference between hurt and injured. My body is fucked… permanently, after 13 surgeries (5 spine). Not to mention I can’t remember where I put my cock.
My brother had a 1965 ' 66 GTO with a 389, 4 speed, with Hurst linkage, similar to yours..... 1979 he would not let me drive it, he went to Canada for a job and I stole it and did burn outs for an hour..... never told him until two years ago....HahhahhahhahHa
Working afternoon shift 40+ hrs/week makes it incredibly difficult to set goals to accomplish through the day. Its difficult to wake early and get going. Things don't always go as planned, before you know it. It's time to start getting ready for work. I just pick from my EXTENSIVE list of projects and am, thankful for what I accomplish in a day. Haha
Love the quote, treat every night like Saturday night and every morning like Monday morning. We work hard everyday, usually up to work out at 5 am. After 7 we have drinks, smoke a cig or cigar , play some pool or darts, or lounge around the pool. I have guilt sometimes that we should've got more done today. But hey it'll be there tomorrow. We're doing great, in a great place in life. Have to take time to enjoy life.
I thought I was already subscribed. Watch you guys like everyday. Great useful practical ideas. Cheers! I'm working on improvements. Need some better habits.
I tried cigars. I really tried. I bought a dozen and tried them all. I just couldn't stand the ash smell in my clothes. It got in the house. In the truck. All over the place. It wasn't relaxing at all to me. Now, a glass of Bourbon (im a kentuckian) does help me relax.
To relax. ... I have planted a lavender parterre. A lavender field. It has approximately 200 Lavender plants. They are of a variety that grows 3 feet every direction from the stem. So, 3 feet high, and 6 feet wide. 7 rows, each row is just short of 90 feet long. Dug deep furrows, and then planted them on top of the furrows, because of my local soil conditions, and that lavender likes to have only a little water. Man, love it. The bees, honey bees, bumble bees, dragon flies, butter flies - they are all over it, all day, and you can walk right through them, with a glass of wine - they do not care. Completely beautiful, and relaxing. You can do it alone, depends upon no one else. You can have your dogs with you, and if other people want to see it, and you feel like company on that particular day, you can have them over and let everyone enjoy it .... or not , based on what you want at this moment. :)
