Totally agree! So down to earth and straight talk! For some reason this was really motivating at this moment in my life. I have been struggle to do keto. I know it works but just cannot wrap my head around not eating bread, rice, pasta or potatos EVER. I can wrap my head around limiting them anf my motivator being less inflammation. I have experimented and seen the difference in pain and puffiness and my skin. So I am going to count macros and do low carb

Weight watchers is basically a simplified calorie counting system. Calories become points which can be easier to understand for some people. I treat calories like money. Spend until I'm out and don't eat past your limit. Flexible dieting is the most sustainable approach.

I feel like I can't remember what I did to unlock that in my self. I've felt lost and very confused about how to lose weight now at 27, I gained back all that weight and then some! I've also been heavy my whole life, but I am also tall and never felt heavy until after this pandemic started. I know my habits have gotten bad so I'm trying to curb that behavior, I've also become vegan recently so that commitment will take effort. Congratulations, that’s amazing!! I started WW on 2/7/22 and it’s feels really good to be in a community that’s lifts you up and celebrates even the tiniest achievements. Our leader is fantastic and motivating, and really cares about each and every one of us. Tracking is SO eye opening. My usual Sonic run on Sat or Sun (or both) consisted of a chili cheese coney, tots and Rt44 limeade or an order of mozzarella sticks. The point count on that is insane! And we all do it so blindly. I highly recommend WW to anyone.

I do the same thing! This is the 1st time I ever heard anyone else do the reward system. People usually look at me weird when I tell them to do that. I remember when I had my son I told myself I won’t get my nails done or go back to getting my highlights till after I hit a certain mark. I didn’t get them done till he was around 10 months, but I earned it! It was well deserved and felt amazing!

I need motivation to keep going on my health journey and I've never watched you before but I was glad to hear you start with 'being bigger didn't make me a bad person" I'm at that stage now, ready to just make myself feel better, not just shrink myself because I think I should.

Thanks for the support. I love your down to earth attitude. I started ww blue two weeks ago and lost 10 pounds already :-) Rewarding yourself for behavior instead of results is a very good idea.

Hi Nikki, I have a similar story. A year ago I found myself 60lbs overweight and basically sedentary. I chose to try Keto. I did see some results. I lost 40lbs in the first 5 months and significantly lowered my blood pressure then stalled. I did start walking 2 miles a day but just couldn't lose that last 20lbs. I started having problems. My hair was falling out and my food choices were slim so I starved. I need to try something else. So...you're my girl my new motivation. I'm with you.

Hi! I've actually heard a lot of stories about people transitioning from keto to WW and finding it soo much more sustainable! The switch might take some time to get used to but I personally think its a much healthier lifestyle change! I'm here if you have any questions!! 🥰 Thanks so much!!

Im 183. My goal is 145 im not so focused on weightloss just consistency.. I love your video, i never have been bigger until my mid twenties from drinking alot of alcohol and eating, i gained like 50 lbs in the last 3 years as well. I have high blood pressure and hypoglycemia, also problems with my menstrual cycle now. Doc said if i lose 30 to 40 lbs ill see a huge improvment. So i hope that i can do this my goal is to reach 145 by december. 🤞

Watching your video couldn’t have come at a more opportune time. I was on the fence of whether to join WW or not. Hearing you say that the most important thing is your diet is key. And I know this but hearing someone else say it was confirmation that I need to do this. Thank you so much for sharing your journey. You have inspired me to take the next step.

Whats helped me was ratios of food on my plate. Half veggies, quarter carbs, quarter protien plus a thumb size of healthy fat. I'm also still removing ALL processed n packaged foods plus anything with high sugar, canola oil n salt.

You are absolutely glowing !!! Thank you for sharing your journey!!!! Two things: short people- weight loss is more difficult, we often have to have a larger calorie deficit than a taller person, also don’t waste your money on supplements! Like she said if you can buy them great (I find them motivating as well, makes me feel “healthy”) but they are not necessary!
