- commitment and patience - moderation with food(healthy relationship with food) - weight yourself once a week but don’t get obsessed with it - eat breakfast to not have a big lunch and dinner. It’s also quite important - breakfast: full - lunch: healthy food - dinner: lightest meal of the day - in the begging she did cardio and fat burn workout - waterrrrrr - cute workout clothes to motivate to workout - supportive bra - no equipment in the begging but she bought dumbbells, ankle weights, resistance bands and yoga mats - music

Omg same I’m at 237 last week and a half I started at 243 I’ve been working out everyday eating clean & less. But I still get fatigued getting dressed or like you mentioned putting lotion on. It’s like a workout in itself. Man gaining weight is so easy but loosing it is pure hell until you put that dress or jeans on and notice a little difference then that right there will be motivation!!! Congratulations on your weight loss journey! And I want to congratulate anyone who's starting because that alone is a lot. One of the biggest advice I could give to someone who wants to lose weight is to be ambitious but not TOO overly ambitious when you first start. Be realistic with yourself. If you are rarely active, don't set yourself up to run 3 miles a day or go to the gym everyday to do hardcore workouts. You will just mentally and physically exhaust yourself and you'll hate all the pain you're feeling and that may even stop you from pursuing a healthy life style. Instead, take walks! Try to aim for 5,000 steps a day then increase to 10,000. Eventually you'll slowly build up your stamina and then you can start jogging/running when you feel ready. Don't cut out all sugary/junk food immediately too because your body (and mind) will experience shock. Instead, slowly ease out of it and decrease your size and intakes. PLEASE don't immediately jump to eating salads or all the healthy food we see everybody eat when they wanna lose weight. That's something you can also ease into later. Just count your calories instead! As someone who was overweight, struggled years of trying to lose weight, and was very physically inactive, this advice of being ambitious but realistic helped a lot!

PREACH!!! 👏🏽👏🏽🙌🏽 easing into a weightloss journey is the best motto to go by! The scale number is not nearly as scary as the cholesterol number, the blood sugar number, the blood pressure number, and (in my case) the kidney number. I had high cholesterol, was pre-diabetic, and had an EGFR of 59.1. Now I have normal blood sugar, normal cholesterol and an EGFR of 84. I am sure most of you haven't even thought about your kidneys or possibly livers when it comes to weight. These things are likely not a concern must at all until you hit your 30s (maybe I'm wrong on that and it can hit earlier) but it happens from decades of bad life style choices. The scale is just the most easily tracked indication that your health is at risk. Amazon has glucometers for $25-30. If your blood sugar readings indicate prediabetes, you are already doing organ damage. Your doc might not even tell you until your diabetic. Over 80 percent of those with prediabetes don't even know they have it. Anyway, there are far worse number enemies out there I actually hate to say.

Weight loss for me has been one of my biggest goals for as long as I can remember. I remember doing a lot of diets and working out and for some reason the moment someone mentioned I started looking thinner, I would fall out and gain the same or more weight,. I never knew why until I watched your video. My confidence in my teenage years was almost non-existent, no matter how many compliments I would get I would feel like the biggest thing ever. I have seen many videos about how people lost weight fast, what to eat, how to workout, etc. but felt like nothing worked. I took a long break on my weight loss journey and as I watched your video I realized it's really a mental thing, just as it is physical. This video made me realize so many things and reminded me that I am not alone. This is really helpful and helped me get my confidence up to go for it again. Thank you for sharing your story ❣

"You showing up for yourself" are the greatest words spoken. Thank you for the inspiration because I've been in this place over and over. What has helped me to strive and press forward is knowing that I love myself and my family and I don't want to be selfish because of my unhealthy relationship with food. So I'm still pressing forward a step every day towards a healthy lifestyle and not just looking good. I want to feel good inside and out. I want to be able to do things with my grandchildren. I'm 45 years young and I want to live a full life without pain, sickness and feeling fatigued and so tired. Thank you again for sharing your journey because it's not easy and we will fall down. But getting back up makes it all the sweeter. So now I pray over my health and life to change for the better so I can walk in my purpose. I can't do that being unhealthy and tired. May God bless your journey and keep you grounded. I'm showing up for myself so I can show up for my family and Kingdom work!

This is some solid advice 🥺 I’ve been working out on and off for a year now. I was just working out and not changing my diet.... biggest waste of time lol. You literally cannot out train a bad diet! I’m starting to focus more on my eating habits now & I’ve noticed such a change! Growing up in a Mexican household I was always told to finish everything on my plate. I would get in trouble if I didn’t.. so I’ve always had that mindset. Now I’m starting to understand that our bodies let us know when we are full and we should respect that. Respect ourselves enough to listen to our own bodies. I’ve been eating in moderation I think the final straw for me was one night I finished an entire plate of carne asada fries by myself ☹️ . I was drunk and I’m not gonna lie it did hit the spot LOL, butttt I just remember feeling disgusted w myself the next day. Before I would only have a couple bites and I would feel full. Now I’m cutting everything I used to be able to eat in half and honestly it’s working! I’m starting to feel satisfied & I don’t get as hungry as I used to. Drinking a lot of water has also been helping me. Thank you for your advice! Good luck to all of you watching & reading the comments 🤩 WE GOT THISSS!!

Thank you for sharing your story! It was so motivational and I’ll be implementing some of what you said in my personal weight loss journey. My goal is to be 138 Lbs on the dot and to see you reach that is so motivational. It’s such a random number but I’ve been fixated on that number because for someone who’s 5 feet 4 I feel like it’s a realistic goal. I feel like the the BMI chart is so unrealistic and unhealthy so I’m going based off of a weight I was most happy at which was 138. I’m currently 184 Lbs. I think knowing the statistics on calroies in food and how much you need to burn a day to lose weight is what helped me. Being in the dark and just trying to do what people say is good for me never helped me. My fitness pal and Fitbit have definitely helped me in so many ways in learning what to eat, what not to eat, how much I need to exercise a day, etc. Another thing I don’t think people ever think about is drinking water. Drink half of your body weight in ounces everyday and you’ll already start to lose weight from that alone. I’m down 14 pounds from my original weight currently so I’m still in the beginning of my journey but so far just understanding the numbers had helped me understand what I need to do and motivated me.

thank you for this video and for promoting having a healthy relationship with food. When I was deep in my eating disorder and food addiction I didn't think this was possible and the advice I got was to cut out any foods that I binged on. But all that did was keep me in fear and restriction. What I know now that I have gotten free from the eating disorder and food addiction is that it was never about the food, it was always about getting free from what was driving me to food in the first place and reconnecting with myself, my body and my own inner guidance. thanks for an inspiring video.

Here are 10 tips that have helped me; 1. Have old photos around you which show you at your ideal weight look at them daily. 2. Get yourself a Fitbit or another watch that keeps track of your weight in an app and a place where you can record all the food you eat daily. Counting my calorie has been key. It may sound tedious but this is a step that had helped me greatly. 3. Get into a calorie deficit also. You can eat the food that you want just as a small portion or work it into your calories. 4. Work out your weight and how much you want to release. You can use my Fitness Pal which tells you how many calories you should be eating to reach your goal. 5. It is 80% of what you eat and 20% exercise. You can train all you like if you eat crap you wont release weight. 6. Celebrate small milestones along the journey. 7. Watch videos on youtube of those on a weight release journey to stay focused. 8. At a time like this eat foods that will build up your immune system you only have one body look after it. 9. Keep a record of your journey document your weight release from start to finish. Take photos as well sometimes you see the difference within photos then on the scale. 10.Keep on going you have got this take it one day at a time to avoid becoming overwhelmed.

I also just want to put this out there for ladies as well. As someone who has been on a specific diet due to my chronic illnesses of Crohn’s and celiac I thought I’d stay at a healthy weight, I was definitely wrong! As it turned out after finally getting a OB/GYN I love and trust she informed me I’ve been gaining weight due to hormonal imbalance. I was put on the depo shot to “help” my endometriosis accompanied by my IUD and since I’ve gained over 40+lbs. You can do all the right things and still gain weight if your hormones or other bodily organs are not working properly. I just recently opted to get off of depo and start pelvic floor therapy instead and so far it has changed my life! For my women out there don’t be afraid to go seek a doctors help if you’re struggling. Women are more likely to experience weight gain due to hormones, thyroid problems, and other health problems but are less likely to reach out to a doctor. I know not all doctors listen which is a stigma especially with women in the health care setting but don’t give up in finding the right doctor for you!

Girl yes! You are goals! All your self love was your motivation. I’m trying to cut off junk food in moderation like you said. It’s the working out part I keep getting lazy about. I need that healthy diet you have. You speak nothing but the truth. Thank you for this video ❤️

Crystal - What a great message you share in this video. In a world where we all want instant gratification - you shared the truth about the fact that it isn't a miracle but a Journey! I know we all want a quick fix when we see someone who has lost the weight & gotten in shape - but you are clear proof that by embracing the journey the best you can & taking your time you Will get results and lasting results at that! Thank you for sharing your journey and all of your realistic, healthy advice - I really appreciate it!

I was 240 and went down to 217 in 12 days. I am on a liquid fast and I'm drinking nutritional supplement shakes four times a day with plenty of water.
