Hey EMF, i just wanna put my 2 cents in and let you know me and my brothers experience with steve himself. Before you made these 2 videos, i respected Steve. Im not a comment reader most of the time, and i did not know that steve was so quick to hate. I didnt actually watch the first video, but my brother did. His conclusion was that you must have used the old instructions for the dd1 and not the dd1+. We also agreed that a volt meter and o scope was better, but harder to use. Basically, we didnt hate on you, despite that fact that you used the product incorrectly and we own a dd1+. We assumed it was a mistake. I watched your second video this morning and talked with mike again about it. Mike (my brother) then saw steves post on Instagram silently stabbing you in the back. He commented saying kindly that he was proving your point and should be more professional. Steve then went back and forth with him until steve said some really nasty things and blocked him, deleted his comments, but kept his own so everyone could see his side. I responded again letting him know we are paying customers and agian kindly mentioned professionalism. I fully expect my commented to be deleted as well, and get blocked. Only further proving your point. I want to thank you for bring this to me and my brother attention. I really appreciate your content and ability to be professional. You might have started this, but your side is an experiment proven right. I dont see fault on your end, and i will proudly continue to support you. Steve meade has sadly lost my respect and subscription, and its all due to his own actions. Please, keep doing what your doing. Steve meade could very well be the main fuel to this hateful fire. Id like to see that change. Im hoping this is the turning point. (UPDATE) steve meade responded too my comment on his Instagram and proceeded to block me before i could read it.

@@justkiddin1980 we are both correct in my opinion. It is wrong at the core to fake a product not working in order to prove a point. Although, it cod have very easily been done by someone else and have been an honest mistake. Weather the product was used incorrectly on accident or on purpose does not change the outcome. The DD1 is only one of many products SMD sells. Making a video about 1 product wound not destory SMD as a brand. Heres the other side of the coin. My parents own a small business. We make more money then SMD does yearly. If we had someone on the internet try to sabotage are name by fake reviewing a product and saying it was something that it wasnt, we would not under ANY circumstance go to the comments cussing people out, talking crap, and be a angry troll. We wpuld go to the person who made the video, ask them kindly to remove the video for the following reasons, prove there claims are incorrect, and it would all be handled behind the scenes. Steve knowns hes at the top of the food chain. There isnt anyone above him in exposure on the internet. He knows he cant be touched, and he abuses that power. EMF exposed his personality and showed that he is abusing his influence and leaving a negative energy over the car audio community. There is no excuse for a business owner of his status to act the way he does. No matter what is said about him or his company. If he had more self control and maturity, this would have been handled behind the scenes. If my parents did this, or my current employer which is also a small business owner, they would end up going out of business. Lastly, he doesnt have to give me the time of day. I wish he would have said nothing to me or anyone else. I did the math, and i accounted for .0002% of his sales this year. I like his products and will use the products i have purchased, but he will lose my business from here on out. Does that matter to him, no. Im just one customer. Theres enough people that will follow him no matter what, and excuse his behavior and justified that he probably wont go out of business. All this isn't to say that he should change his additude and way he goes about representing himself and his business and a whole

And i can tell he is not your usual run of the mill business owner..I have respect for how he has grown his brand, but on the point of not taking the bait, you're right...he should learn to shrub off the negativity and conduct himself as a true bussinesman..But i can understand seeing where he came from and how he grew up why he reacts the way he does..

Yeah, I like EXO's videos for what they are......fun, positive enthusiasm for car audio. Same for that Parker kid. But if I want unbiased product testing based on facts and consistent testing methods, EMF is the only person on YT currently doing that. I've been a professional DJ for 16 years, and the problem is just as rampant in the DJ/live sound world.

You could roll up to exo with 2 pyle 12s, on a dual amp, and scosche 6.5s, and he will jam out with you. He just enjoys the community. He hates seeing things fail. Look at the rockville debacle. The first video he saw how bad they were. They came out with a 2nd version, samething happened. But sometimes no matter how much you want to like a product if it fails you just have to move on from it. He is like me just the other night some guy pulled into the gas station rattling his trunk. I ask what he had and if i could listen. It was 2 kicker comp 10s from walmart in walmart boxes. I then asked if he wanted to demo my custom 12. We enjoyed each other systems. He asked how does he get hard hitting subs like mine. I gave him a list of companies and we went on with our lives. You take his ride to some show. You will get 10-15 people jumping on him laughing talking about bringing kicker comps 10s to a competition when maybe he wasnt even competing he wanted to just come check it out. Its the same in all of the world. I told one guy at a show to shut the fck up you never had all that money and all that equipment and if you are so worried either build him the system you think he should have or hand him the money to have someone build it. The guy just walked away.

Johnathan price is the same way. He said he gets asked after getting demos, people say i know it isnt the tahoe. And he still enjoys it. He even made a video saying how it shouldnt matter how it compares to his tahoe as long as the person who bought and built it likes it that is all that matters. Im pretty sure he even said he enjoys demoing in system from couple of 8s to full spl comp builds cause he just enjoys it. Yet people hate him, some people hate exo.

No, because he doesn't want to get caught red-handed with his back pedal. He even had the one uploaded copy removed by RU-vid for a copyright issue. It kinda defeats the whole "I did it for views" thing as the original video would have gotten so many more views with everyone watching it again for clues. Nope, he screwed up by using the wrong instructions and wrong test material and then was too proud to admit it so he deleted the original video and cooked up an elaborate cover up that everyone can see right thru. Showing a screenshot on a phone is NOT a valid way of proving it is a date in the past! I used to look up to EMF for decent info but not anymore. And BTW I am in no way a Steve Meade fanboy.

I use to be like that and jump on the bandwagon and troll. But lately i stopped and i will catch myself mid comment and erase it. I was thinking like how boring is my life if i got to sit around and just sht on someone else for an hr. Honestly ive felt a lot better mentally to. It drains you, it really does after awhile. Best thing ever was taking a few days off the internet. We should have a holiday once a year the internet is shut down unless its for emergency services hospitals and such. Where they kind of need it.

FYI, I loved your system from day one. When I met u in Daytona and asked for a demo and u said u were done I was bummed out. But I didn't bother asking why and now I can sort of see why u dropped out. This video makes sense. U inspired me to by EMF and to this day I still love my two 15 Ermahgerd's.
