Plato's isn't the same everywhere, nor to everyone. My experience was AWFUL.

Yes they love shoes !! I’m a new fan of Plato’s 🎉went today again, sold 49 items !! So nice to unload once a month 😅great finds ! You are blessed you have great bins near you ❤

I just looked at their website and am pleasantly surprised by the items they take. They're the items we see all of the time and normally wouldn't bother to pickup. Love that it's a separate income stream that doesn't compete and we cam do at the same time at the bins. I tried this before but I don't think my primary BST store took much and they don't buy it from you either.

Keep making the Plato’s videos. Mine never takes many items but I am happy to be able to sell some items. I just sold 2 pair of shoes to them yesterday. They always take my Converse it seems

That’s great, Plato’s by me take 4 to 6 hours and they don’t give a receipt so I don’t ever know what they took or how much for each. Ours pay out 1 to $2 per item typically. I sold 53 items the other day and got a bit over 100! Sounds like your area is wayyyy better!!! The only reason I do it is because I get most of my inventory free so it’s free money. You did great!!!

$200 isn't like standard for me I guess I should have said that in the video. Lol but do give them a try! And if your new to selling to them I'd suggest really looking around at the store while you wait to get a good feel of what your particular store is buying/looking for/thinks is trendy!

Hi 👋 Same here, I mix stuff up also. 😊 especially numbers. I’m left handed and I think personally that that has a lot to do with it. Also I’m originally from Colorado born and raised but, I live in the south now and I love the hot weather. I don’t miss the snow at all. Anyway keep up the good work. ❤

Love these videos. I always try and take 1 bag to Plato’s at most 2 but it depends. Ive taken 3 bags before and they bought 69 pieces for 340 bucks i was surprises at the amount i got i was left with a small ikea bag. The items i took was items that i was afraid they wouldn’t take but they did. Love seeing more of these videos please

Keep making the platos closet videos, I'd also like to know more about threadup. I sent them my first box the other day because I watched you tall about that after taking stuff to platos. All the stuff I'd been sitting on for ages that hadn't been moving for me. Including a bunch of high end shoes. Hopefully it pays off.

Wow just finished the video and you made a killing at Plato's. I may try to shop for my Plato's. I have been doing well with selling kids clothes to buy sell store in my town but wouldn't mind trying Plato as well because finding decent kids stuff at the bins is hit and miss.

Don't go with your hopes high. I think it depends on where you live, and what you look like. They took about 8 pieces from me (otta 20), but great brands and/or material, and barely gave me over $10. One was a like new pr. of black Levi 501's. Was seasonally appropriate, and I live where it stays hot most of the year. Hope you have better luck.

Ups and downs for sure! It's definitely a secret sauce I've been working out for a few years. Sometimes it's a hit, sometimes a miss. Could depend on your buyer, time of day, inventory needs. Etc.! I'll keep making these videos 🙃

I think we've all had bad days at platos.... 😅 I've been accused of stealing items from one location to sell to another, because I tried to sell to 2 locations in the same day...?! 🤡 They've also told me they couldn't take a single one of my items because they weren't trendy, LOL 🙃

Another way to look at it is that they paid for the Prada coat, PLUS $140.00! I'm glad some of ya'll do good at Plato's (and other BST stores). I tried selling to them once took black 501 shorts, a Free People crochet top (XL), LL Bean men's shorts, a couple silk tops, and Madewell jeans (when they were still something)...I got a whopping $10, and change.There's another channel I watch (Jack Valentine), and he and his husband do real good too.

FIRST, I LOVE JACK AND RYAN! Been watching them for a few years.🫶☺️ LOL and yes, platos is definitely its own world when it comes to what's hot and what's not. That's probably why I always get so nervous 😅. I've also taken free people that's been passed on, in fact, yesterday I went and they passed on a black lace free people dress 🤷‍♀️. I 💯% feel being discouraged, and I've even sworn off platos a few times myself, but there is some good $ to be made, especially if you are a bins shopper. Would you ever consider going again? 🤔

We don't have Style Encore anymore 😥 Don't give up on Plato's! Everyone has bad days selling to them, myself included. I've literally gone, and they've not taken a single item... 🙃😳😅

It's so bizarre to me that they take Shein. I literally avoid it when I see it at the thrift store. I guess Plato's is more teen/early 20's focused and they are into that though. You have so many cute pieces you're taking! I think these videos are super fun. I'd like it if you keep doing them. I'm so glad they bought pretty much everything from you!
