Hi Megan, I enjoyed this video. My local Plato’s is one big click. I absolutely hate going to Plato’s, because it seems like they have their favorite (thrifter people) that they buy from… and if you’re not one of them then good luck. Our Plato’s is 5 miles from the bins - so the regular bins shoppers are the regular Plato’s sellers.

I used to work at a Plato’s. If it makes you feel better the button that has the prices and the one that doesn’t are literally so close together it’s easy to hit the wrong one. Hope this helps in some way ease your nerves. Love these videos btw. I wish the resellers I encountered were as thoughtful and knowledgeable as you.

That's what my platos did too the recept just had a list of items and like a grade A A- etc

I'm sorry. Such a bummer that they passed on so many things, and then didn't give you a receipt that showed you the prices for each item too. Hopefully you were able to get the other Plato's to take more of the items.

The Platos I went to did the same thing with the receipt. At first she told me she didn’t know if she was allowed to give a receipt so she called someone else and she said that’s the only receipt she can give that shows what items were accepted but no prices 🤦‍♀️

My Plato's refuses to give me an itemized receipt they will only turn the screen around and let me look at it that way but even then they are super shady about it sometimes and its because if you do not actually look at what they are typing your items in as they will screw you. I took 3 pairs of lululemon leggings in and they tried to put them in as "no name boutique brand" which they only were going to pay $1.50 for but when I pointed it out and pulled the leggings the girl was quick to claim it was an oversight smh once it was adjusted to be lululemon the price jumped up to $7. I went to Style Encore which is about an extra 15 minutes for me last week and they paid almost double on my items I made wayyy more money and they printed me an itemized receipt and handed it to me when they brought what they were buying up to the counter without me even having to ask! I will def be using Style encore instead of Platos at least for now esp cause my platos girls just have always rubbed me the wrong way.

Do you wash the items before going to Plato's? I know they say they want washed clothes...and the bins can be...bad lol.

My Plato's gave me an itemized receipt without prices as well. It is so annoying.

Platos won't give me any receipt now I have to take a snap of it from my phone.
