"perform" is the most difficult step. planning things out is always easier because most of the time you want to do those things, at least ideally. But when the time comes to actually do the thing, you may feel tired, exhausted, distracted, overwhelmed, etc etc, which is what makes carrying out the plans so difficult.
I'm so glad you didn't cut 10:16-10:31 lol it really made my night to just see you be relatable and goofy and have an almost Nathan Zed little humour break in the middle of all the usual stuff!
@@ZachHighley This might be a time consuming thing to make a vedio for RU-vid, but trust me you're literally helping a lot of students to become successful doctors❤️
I gotta tell you man, you are the goat. Your videos have helped a ton when I feel overwhelmed. It’s great to finally watch one while I’m chilling for once
Zach, you rock! I’m loving these tips as I am transiting out of nursing school having graduated last month- I noticed being out of school my priorities have shifted but I find myself even busier! Hopefully this can help re-shift my life back!
This video really helped me to reflect on whether I'm spending most of my time doing the things that are most meaningful. It also caused me to question whether the plural of "bridge" is "bridgi"...
Such great advice thank you! I’ll be applying to PhD programs in the fall, have a coaching business and Im a single parent. So I’m trying to figure out how to start a RU-vid channel with my 7year old son to teach him skills on entrepreneurship and mindset. #1 prioritize slide - put things into perspective. Recently diagnosed with adhd So ever since I’ve been trying to optimize my life, your videos have helped SO MUCH as I’m studying for the GRE, etc etc. THANK YOU for sharing all your tips n tricks.
I really loved the way you've explained it . It would be amazing and very useful if you make a separate video of task tight compartments which you've elaborated in 13:00 And I would surely apply all these little hacks shared by you !
The one thing I don't like is how everything is the same color on your calendar. I am going to take all your recommendations and also I think color code my "Must Do", "Absolutely Want" and "Want" on my calendar.
Sooo, what I'm hearing is you have a Notion video idea already planned in your Notion??? I'm so glad you read my mind, that's exactly what we needed next haha, love the content Zach!!
Wow this is amazing and actually useful/different from all the repetitive time management videos out there! I am pre-med student and I really needed these tips :) thanks Zach for all the hard work you put into the videos, it was so entertaining that the 20 min flew by.
once I finished this video, I realized how many time I just wasted on watching social media every single minute during work and make my working progress delay and delay... I don't deserves to think about bunch of dream if I couldn't even manage my time wisely.
I'm not sure if it applies to everyone, but also include play/rest time in your daily priorities, just make sure to perform the hi prio ones first. For me, it's completely alright to play games 2hours before bedtime, because I really love playing. I tried one time to put only work on my calendar and got really burned out
I absolutely wanted this after I got a dog( I am the one responsible)and also keep up with school .It my not he much for people at university but for me it is . Thank u 🙏🙏
bro, an excellent video! Thank you! I liked tip number 8 the best because it's very creative how you "expanded" the Pomodoro technique toward long term goals. Keep it up 🔥🔥🔥
I am from kerala (India) one of your video lover. your vdos are motivation for me when I think to give up . Thanku for this wonderful vdos . I get a positive feeling when I saw your face ❤️ thanku very much.
thank u so much❤️. Ur videos really shift my mindset and give me motivation to do my work 🤩. Great content and really like the neatness of ur videos.✌️
What a structured, funny, informative video Zack! Really enjoyed it! Great and solid advice! And actually I've been enjoying your content very much during these past few weeks (I was having my finals) even though I'm going to be a primary school teacher your tips have helped me reach the best scores in my course! Especially flashcards. I still write them out by hand, it takes time but for these final exams it did the job. I'm excited to try anki for the next year! And also, I wanted to ask, do you have summer breaks? Do you rest during them or still review your flashcards? Sending greetings from Lithuania!
What if something essential is just left that day . And the next day I have much more to do . How do I manage the thing which was left yesterday . It really makes me upset 🥺
Zack please. shoot new videos for (Study With Me) because all of your videos I completed and I want more of this amazing vedios. Thank you for all and greetings from Iraq 💙💙
Hello Zach, greetings from Taipei, Taiwan! I am enjoying this video. Hey, I taught in medical school over here, although I’m not an MD! The system is different: Taiwanese students go straight from high school into medical school without an intervening undergraduate degree, so they start medical school with undergraduate coursework. I taught English as a Foreign Language. Just curious: are you Canadian? I’m asking because you pronounce “process” as “proe-sess”.
