Congratulations, Anu!! I don't usually comment on videos, even though I'm a regular viewer. But today's video was really helpful. What you said about prioritising your family and not parties at this point of your life... and about having just a few, reliable friendships for which there's no need to go on a rampage cleaning and putting on a show... I completely get it! It felt very good hearing that spelled out esp on a platform like RU-vid. Thank you for putting out such down-to-earth practical content.

Anu, I loved your thinking of focusing on quality of relationships rather than quantity. In today’s times people may tend to focus on having a big social circle and having “contacts” but the real connection and love is not there. I too believe that it’s important to have true and real few relationships rather than too many fake ones. Thank you for being REAL as always.

Loved it ma'am. I understand it so well. M a mother of a three old. A banker. No social life..my life revolves between my family n work..but i dont regret it. Have office friends. Apne sahi kaha un chakkaro me padenge to family life disturb hojati he. N its not worth at all. Love u so much. I enjoy seeing ur videos with ur kids and ur household chores..thats wat ur channel is abt. Real life and real home. Perfect life. But unfortunately, not everyone respects everyone’s thoughts. Anu ji, your reply to the insensitive comment about 'your little life' made me cry. Ofcourse you must miss your family, and it is awesome that your family encourages you. You didnt even have to explain but so nice you did. I look upto you for being so sorted, for prioritizing well and being organized. Simplicity is a real blessing and a gift. A lot of misguided people think that being drunk on weekends or partying hard or having 500 friends on FB is the way to live... If it works for them,cool, however I am sure most of them dont have two kids and cook healthy meals. You gave up your job to choose the life of a homemaker, and even then you made a youtube career of that! Plus I think you have a right to privacy, I don't think you have even shown your husband's coverage, and you are not obliged to share your mall trips or parties. Lol I think I am reacting even more strongly than you did haha. Anyhow, I understand. I have had very days when I have stayed up all night in nigut shifts and next day gone shopping with friends followed by dinner with family, and then there's now when I am at home almost all day, just reading writing and cooking. Phases in life ebb and flow right :) you do you.... N so happy to see your well earned medal!!

You have absolutely nailed few important points in today's video. Yes, agreed that we live in a foreign land and yes we need more people around us. But to a certain limit only. That is what my thinking is and I am constantly being judged for leading this life and often misunderstood as an introvert. Days just run away from our hands and especially with a preschooler and a baby, I can only dream of having more than 24hrs a day, and why more?so that I can sleep for an extra hour or spend some time talking to my family back home or have a quiet walk around estate. So on.. I have a handful of Friends too and same way like you said, they or I don't mind "intruding" into each others kitchens. And simple Dal chawal will suffice our gathering.we don't have to lavishly get ready and show off with this group of friends. And yes, that is our comfort zone. At this stage, raising 2 human beings is the utmost priority and wouldn't be fair to compromise their future. Because, we might think it's just one day only, one party only but hey, this small counts will become a habit. At least that's how I am and sorry if some of the viewers won't agree. I know there are few people who manage every aspect beautifully. But there are some like me , like you and many viewers who commented here, who may not balance the extra social time. Congratulations and it's your exclusive content and real life that earned the award.

As a wife and mom of 2, life cans become so demanding and we forget to set aside a small time for ourselves. I have one and only daughter. Always my first priority my daughter. Even now. My daughter is very proud of me. My daughter is fantastic,down to earth person with good values. Now she is a big girl. She is 30 years. Finished her PhDs in electrical engineering. Working as research scientist. She also very family oriented person. Got married when she was 21 years old. Even her husband also very nice person. Actually he is my son,because as we don't have our own son. Some time people say I don't socialize much. But I never worry about that. Just partying and hanging out with people often, is not the only way to be sociable. Your life is yours to claim and live the way you want. And am sure many out there believe that your life is as true and real as most of us indian moms. You are such a dedicated and passionate mother and wife , and you are doing a fantastic job of it. You don't have to give any explanation to anybody. Most of us middle class indian women who live abroad for work purpose live a composed life and people from other walks of life may not be able to comprehend it. Your 3 men, your 4 friends, your God and your precious moments of chatting/ video calling with your family back in India maybe your universe and you are the central force of it all Anu. You make a change to your little universe and make it strive and flourish. People who don't understand the nobility of it is at loss...not you.
