Thought I’d share my experience in regards to finding accommodation in the UK. I was moving to the UK for university and chose private student accommodation from my home country, without viewing it. HUGE mistake, ended up getting scammed out of almost £1000 and there was no accommodation for me when I got to the UK. So was momentarily homeless (for about 12 hours until I luckily found a legit landlord and flat). You must view the property before committing to it. Learn from my mistakes please 💜

You are officially an Ambassador of the UK. This was so informative! After I had visit the UK last year I knew I wanted to live there just as a regular expat. I'm currently 13, there's still so many years before I'm even ready to make the official decision of moving to the UK. I've been looking into moving for a while, I'll definitely be studying there so I don't think I'll have too much of a problem with getting a visa once I'm older and all of that stuff. You have to definitely visit London for atleast 4 weeks before you decide to move her get a feel of how your daily life would be but London is definitely safer than the us alone you don’t really need to worry about guns, robberies etc but of course don’t let your guard down.

Master 101 very true, for crime and safety the uk wins. But for housing and taxes it’s all the same. Maybe the UK is better but I strongly don’t like London because of the crime that’s going on and how so many people have moved im. Moving to a small place to feel safe is a great choice.

London is my favourite city I am tired of Chicago so ready to move.... I am working so hard I drive Uber like a crazy lady and do a lot of saving........ my last thing was someone steal my car so that was it for me so I am leasing a car from Uber..... I want to come in January but my house/ flat lease up July......so I need to work on sublease that..... BetterBest1 well it depends, where are you originally? I think if ur from Europe, the uk would be ur best bet as it’s cheaper in the long run meanwhile if ur from somewhere else outside Europe, I think the US would be a better option

I wanted to live in italy. Went for nye and fell in love. But its very difficult getting a job there. Apartments in rome are just like nyc. The only thing keeping me from taking that leap is the cost of living. BTW loveee your outfit !

Maybe you answered this in a previous video (I just found this channel and love it!) but do you have a job in addition to your masters program in London? I’m about to get my BA in journalism in the US and I’ve been looking at masters programs in London ever since I got back from studying abroad there in the summer. If you have a tier 4 student visa can you also get a job there?

I went to school and was in an AA program to be an RN, i dropped out 5 years ago due to hardships. I since at least did a home health aide certificate and job. Is there anyway I can be considered for the UK RN job/study and to get the visa to work in the UK?

Just wanted to add another easy way to migrate to the UK is to join the military. If you're an American citizen but also have a parent (or even grandparents) from Jamaica, Trinidad, Guyana, Barbados, Nigeria, Ghana, Sierra Leone, Ireland, India, Canada or any Commonwealth nation you can apply for dual citizenship & join the British Army. After about 4 years you can then apply for British citizenship.

Did you have a job there while you were in school? I’m finishing up my bachelors in Education at Sam Houston State University. I would like to either move to the UK or to Cyprus and teach. I don’t know if the better option is to find a teaching job first who will sponsor me on a work visa or if I should get my Masters there and be sponsored that way. If I went for school I would still want to make some income.

Paige, im currently in Turkey, its a beutiful country but honestly just like you London has always been my dream place to settle and establish my life, i have been there once this year, fortunately i do not need a visa, but i just dont know if its possible to be employed in a stable job there and live longer. im also trynna look for info online.
