I've watched so many videos about RU-vid SEO and keyword research (from incredibly helpful people like Tim Schmoyer, Roberto Blake, Brian G Johnson, Sunny Lenarduzzi, Nick Nimmin, Sean Cannell, to name just a few) but until it happened to my channel, I can't really say I understood how it worked. But now after having one of my videos rank #1 in search for a pretty big search term "Canon 1DX Mark II" (at least as of this recording), I saw some crazy growth numbers for me, even as a pretty small channel with just over 1,000 subscribers at the time.
Watching my view count, watch time, impressions, and subscriber numbers keep on climbing was one of the coolest most exhilarating parts of my RU-vid journey so far and I wanted to share this milestone with you all. Now of course my channel is still small, but as they say, there's a difference between learning something second hand versus learning through experience. Now that I've had that experience, here's what I've learned about how the algorithm works in 2019 and how to make the most of RU-vid with one of my favorite video SEO tools / video marketing tools.
